Description of Work: During a storm in late June a tree from across the street fell and broke one of our living room windows. Ivan came the day I called, boarded up the window and took measurements. We decided to replace five windows, and it took a while for them to come from the manufacturer, but the day after the windows were delivered, the Macintosh crew was here to install them. Very pleased with the crew, the completed job and the windows.

+ -1 moreThis was work that had to be done prior to settlement on the property. Rick (owner) and Ivan were great as they inspected and scheduled the work within this time restraint. The work was excellent and they were very professional and knowledgeable about the best way to do the work. There was some areas that they had to come back to finish and they did this without any reminders. The areas where work was done was left in pristine condition.
Description of Work: Replaced wood for garage door rail, installed anti-tip device to stove and secured dishwasher to granite counter top.

+ -1 moreWe like Macintosh quite a bit. It was a recommendation. We were very pleased with them but they weren't cheap. But yeah, we would pick them in a minute and do the work if we had the money and we may still go with them for certain tasks. They were responsive initially.
Description of Work: I had an estimate from Macintosh Construction for some remodeling and putting in some dividing walls in rooms.

+ -1 moreRick was responsive from the get-go. He had come highly recommended by friends. He was professional and his team clearly knew what they were doing. They were interested in retaining features of our old home, including saving a large bay window whose replacement would have cost an additional $1000. Both his own carpenters, installers, etc and his subcontractors (plumber, electrician, flooring, counter fabricators) were top notch. WE have a punch list remaining, but I am convinced they will complete things in a timely fashion.
Description of Work: Kitchen gut and rebuild. Cabinet prices are not included in the cost of service. A wall was removed and a beam installed. There is a completely new configuration, floors, appliances, counters, etc.

+ -1 moreRick was great! I was redoing my kitchen, tearing everything out, ripping down a wall, and installing doors/windows, etc. I was on a budget and needed to do lots of the work myself. He was very flexible and easy to talk to/work with. He would always respond quickly and they were able to get the work done quickly too. The people working for him were all friendly and did great work. I would definitely hire them again.
Description of Work: demo, tore down wall, installed support beams, installed exterior french doors, moved a door, installed trim, etc.

Description of Work: This was for a bathroom redo. It was for a tenant bathroom in a first floor rental unit. The outcome was very nice and both my tenant and I are very happy. I have worked with this company for over 20 years on literally 10-20 projects, ranging from a few hundred dollars to tens of thousands of dollars. The projects have been at my home and at my business. Rick, the owner, is very reliable, honest, and easy to speak to. His crews are competent and honest. Sometimes I have a feeling that the cost could be less, but "you get what you pay for", and I doubt you will be dissatisfied with the outcome of the project.

+ -1 moreWe waited until a sunny day when we thought the squirrel would be out but he hadn't actually left so the animal was stuck in the house. They undid the repairs so the squirrel would leave and I called them on a day that I couldn't hear the scratching noises so they came back out and repaired the areas again.
Description of Work: Macintosh Construction repaired the places on my home that a squirrel had been getting in to. They also fixed some trim under my window as well.
