L&J Heating and A/C

Jim was great to work with; he was prompt, courteous and kept me informed throughout. I live out of town and my elderly mother needed heat fast. Jim was on the job quickly and got her heat back on as soon as he was able to get the necessary part. I would definitely recommend Jim to anyone in need of service on their heating systems.

The worst. Don't use this company. Frist he came hrs after appt time, he check the broiler say we need something new circuit board or circuit switch something like that… Frist price $677 I said I'm not sure, and he I'll do it for $477, we said we let you know, paid him $85 service charge. Call an hr later said yes, next day he remove the circuit box. He said it will take 1 or 2 hrs to repair, I called him 5 or 6 hrs later to ask what happen he said I'll return the box tomorrow my mother told there's no heat return it tonight our you won't be paid… He reconnected the box mother give him $477 warranty. He said there's no warranty or recipes. One of my brother said for $477 we want a warranty and recipes. My mother got a 30 day warranty and recipes. That night, heater did not turn on. Called James long at L&J heating, the next day he and a partner and said it's not the box but the thermostat. Went to home depot replace thermostat. Heater came on and went off... The same problem before we call L&J heating... So we call L&J heating again, talked to James. Told him it's not the thermostat. No heat sat night call Sunday no answer, we talk to him Monday morning, he said it must be something else, I’m not coming out for free I’ll fix it for 150.00 dollars this time... but l&j heating it was never fix you took $477 from a senior citizen and not fix it. And call hear Monday morning wanting $150 more to do it right this time.... she’s 76 with asthma and still no heat. People don't use them you been warn!!!

Jim was very prompt and courteous. Cleaned and repaired our furnace in short order. One thing I didn't appreciate was that he said he couldn't give me a receipt for the part because it was handled electronically.?? Doesn't seem like a good business practice to me.. Its always good to have all the receipt when repairs are done. Other t han that it was all good

They showed up on time and fixed the issue right away.

Responded fast for initial service. Slow responds for follow up or returns. Over priced for parts but needed the job done with temps going down to the teens. Its best if your are knowledgeable about your furnace because everyone will try to take shortcuts.

I was given an appointment for Thursday at 1 pm, no one shows up until 5 pm, called them again and the appointment was rescheduled, for 12 noon the next day, even make a big promise to prioritize my project. No one shows up the next day. I even did not get a call for follow up. No calling them again.

Jim is a very nice person and someone I would recommend to repair any AC unit having issues. He is timely and goes out of his way to complete the job with urgency. He gives as many options as possible and he is very trust worthy.

The contractor arrived when promised and completed the job on time and to my satisfaction, I HAD HEAT!!

They performed prompt, efficient service. They recommended and finished potential safety repairs also. Very pleased with the service.

Quick serine and was on time.

I have 3 heaters in my primary house and three rental properties in Central and Upper Bucks County so was looking for someone closer as they were located in Lower Bucks. SO while I had an immediate need not sure long term they could meet all my service issue....admittedly I did not even give them a chance. Jim did call me within 5 minutes and was trying to determine the need as best he could. I was not sure in the end that the $85 diagnostic fee would go towards any repair they could do right then and there. As it turns out I needed a blower motor and a more local service repair company was able to repair the system. I would call L&G back when I look to remodel one bathrooms and build out another based on their professionalism and response time.

They repaired the issue quickly and efficiently. Great company - fantastic service.
