I NEVER like leaving negative reviews when work wasn't done, but I had paid for a job through Angie's List and never received serviced. I gave Liberty many chances to complete the work I paid up front for before writing this review, but I'm guessing that they are just too busy. Donna was very responsive and helpful since I purchased the package back in March. However, I was unable to schedule any work to get done. Donna was able to eventually schedule a team to come to my home on a Friday morning. They did not show, and they did not call. I missed several hours of work as a result. I received a refund for the roof package through Angie's List.

They had no problem collecting my money instantly, but failed to even call to set up an appointment to make good on the deal. Angie's List wouldn't even refund my money when this contractor didn't hold up their end of the deal. Disappointing all around. Isn't that the point of Angie's List - to have the consumer's back when it comes to dealing with contractors like this? I had to transfer to another deal (ie. spend even more money) in order to get the refund from the original deal. Whether I get that refund remains to be seen. They said it would be refunded immediatly, but I have not seen a refund yet.

Follow up on the necessary additional work was prompt and ongoing communication via phone and Angie's list messaging was excellent. Price was negotiated to meet competitors pricing and the work was topnotch. I am not 100% certain on the scope of their services, but the work done on my roof was well done.

I am amending my submission of a less than favorable review of 8/27/15. After receiving a phone call from Donna a representative of Liberty Contracting, I now have a better understanding of the miscommunication that resulted in the company not returning my call to schedule a date for service. I understand that I was given the cell phone number of the estimator and instead of re-contacting the company office I called the cell phone number which was not the company procedure and so they were unaware of my request for service. I received what I feel is an appropriate explanation and apology and I now feel that should I need roofing service or know of anyone needing service that I would have no problem referring this company. I have also stated this to the representative of Liberty who assured me that they have taken action to ensure this does not occur in the future.

Terribly. It took forever to actually schedule the service. Awful communication within their office, so you have to make sure to talk to the same person each time. The person we worked with went on vacation while we were trying to schedule and therefore nothing got done. Finally, they came out to perform the roof maintenance. Instead of doing an inspection and maintenance, they left us with an estimate for a new roof (which we didn't want) and no maintenance performed. they said we could apply the masonry credit towards the new roof. We followed up with a different roofer who told us we still have about 5 years life on our roof. Due to our frustration with communication and scheduling, we have not pursued this further. For the small amount we paid, it's not worth our trouble to try and get the services properly completed. We will not be using this contractor again.

It was okay. They looked at the drain but it was frozen so they couldn't clean it out. He didn't say he was coming back and that would have probably been another charge. They weren't able to clean but gave me some good information on how to deal with it. I just paid the $99. They were courteous, came on time and gave me some useful information.

The guys should up on time and did great job explaining to me what work was being done and what work may be needed in the future.

When the service provider came out to do the work, he let me know that the work I needed done was not included in the deal. He was unable to use the deal to do the work. I ended up working separately with the service provider and requested a refund for the Big Deal. He ended up doing a fantastic job with the work that he did and it is guaranteed for three years. I'm very happy with my experience with him.

They were overall good. They were professional and punctual. The price was reasonable. The quality of work is good.

This company gave me an estimate which was not cheap. I gave them the go-ahead to do the job. Once they got up on my roof and had the old roof ripped off, they told me there was an unforseen problem. They told me they would have to charge me $1,000 above the estimate which at that point, I was pretty much forced to pay. This is a very common tactic amoung certain Philadelphia roofers. I had expected better from this company.

They were very good & reliable. It was a great experience.
