Awful experience. Saw a coupon in the Clipper for $19.95/room and called to schedule - booked 5/29 between 9 and 11AM. Was told they'd call and confirm the appt the day before. They didn't confirm. Called the morning of around 8:30 and they said they'd be there "soon" and would call us :30 before they got there. Fortunately we didn't go and wait for them because they ultimately showed up at 12:15PM. When they called they said they were 5 minutes away and pushed us hard to get out there immediately so they wouldn't wait. Just to be clear - they were an hour late and didn't want to wait 10 minutes. When I got there I politely thanked them for their patience and the tech started grumbling belligerently about his schedule. I made it clear that I have a schedule too and that _they_ were scheduled between 9 and 11 and it was currently 12:30. I also pointed out that if they'd done as they said and called :30 before arrival I could have been waiting for them. They walked through the house (which had just been professionally cleaned and had carpets cleaned 1yr earlier) and gave me an estimate THREE TIMES what we'd been told on the phone. I said "I have a coupon" and went to get the coupon. He then pointed out that the coupon was for "maintenance" only (which was printed on the coupon in fine print) and that he'd have to "call his manager". Given the carpets were cleaned a year earlier and were properly cared for, the maintainance should have appied. He didn't call his manager and instead chose to "do a test" where he sprayed the carpet and scrubbed then declared we couldn't do maintenance. At that point it was clear to me that it was a bait-and-switch operation and I asked them to leave. As he left I asked him "just to be clear - you are not going to do the agreed-to work at the agreed-to price?" and he said "No." My wife called to complain about our experience and the girl on the phone called her an a**hole. Apparently their opinion is that if someone expects a service provider to fulfill an agreement on-time and on-price, that makes them an a**hole. BEWARE

The estimate was sky high and I wasn't give an itemized breakdown. Wasn't even given a written estimate until I requested one. I had a coupon for $19.95 a room and was told this is for maintenance cleaning, not for stain removal. That is reasonable, it does say that on the coupon. However, the estimates seemed very high. I was told $500 for steam cleaning two rooms, a staircase, and 2 larger rooms and stretching a rug. I told them I would shop around and get other estimates. The guys that came out were nice and professional. The main reason for this review is what follows: The following day I received a call from someone to follow-up. I told the person that I didn't want to schedule the cleaning at that time. The girl on the phone asked me several times when they could call back to follow-up and I told her I would call them if I wanted their to schedule the service as I had their number. Her response back to me was "You don't have to be a b**** about it". I said "Excuse me". She said "You heard me, you don't have to be a b**** about it" This is the main reason I am posting this review is the follow-up call. That is how this business treats their customers...think they need to fire their administrative assistant...

I asked for an estimate of the job after the workman ( didn't get his name) looked at the area of carpet I needed to have stretched. The area involved a section of my living room carpet covering about 6 square feet. There was a long ripple where the carpet had stretched up. He stated that it was a major job and would cost about $285. I blanched and suggested that maybe I would consider replacing all the carpet in the future instead. He countered with a cost of $250, as it was such a lot of work for him. Stupidly, I felt stuck and agreed to that amount. He brought in his stretching tools and cut a seam about 3 feet away. Then he stretched the carpet to take out the ripple. Then he glued the new seam down. All the time he was working ( a total of about 30 minutes-mostly to let his heat gun warm up) he kept praising his own work. I could see for myself that it was not a great job. He told me that the ripple would go away after I vacuumed it later that day. There is still a slight ripple in the same spot. Worse yet, the new seam is crooked and very obvious. I am very unhappy with the result and the cost I paid for the job. Don't use these guys!!!

It went very poorly. Thinking that this guy was a professional, I left him alone to do the work while I went to answer my front door. BIG MISTAKE!
