+ -1 moreThe work was done very professionally, with excellent workmanship; the shoes looked almost as good as new, and the new sole was better than the sole the shoe had when it was brand new. The repair work did not completely make the tears disappear (that would have been a miracle), but it made them unnoticeable from a distance, which is what matters. The polish and shine were better than anything I have ever done in my life. The people at this shop were courteous, took time to listen to me and confirm the work prior to doing it, and did the work as requested and completed the work on time. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work, and highly recommend it.
Description of Work: Resoled one pair of dress shoes with a specific type of sole material that I requested, repaired some tears, and polished the shoes.

+ -1 moreExcellent workmanship. I was delighted with what I got back. Mr. Hong is on South Street, near the South Street bridge. If you go down 23rd St, then turn left onto South St, you will probably be able to find parking close by the shop which is on the left.
Description of Work: Restitch inner part of heavy duty Timberland leather sandals that had pulled apart. Mr. Hong covered area with soft leather piece to protect foot. He also reattached the handle of a leather purse to the handbag it had become detached from.

Description of Work: Repair strap on leather purse: go over stitching where strap meets purse to strengthen bond. Strap was getting loose, but had not yet broken.
