Kitchen World Inc

Our overall experience with Kitchen World was excellent. I worked directly with Scott Carman on a design; the cost of the design (~$250) was deducted from our actual cabinet order. I visited Kitchen World's office in Bridesburg several times -- Scott spent a good amount of time showing me all the cabinet options, helped me figure out where everything should go (though I already had architectural plans in hand), and helped me get the cabinet features right so that we came within our budget. We ended up selecting their Dynasty Omega series, which are semi-custom cabinets. After we had the design nailed down, Scott came to my house and met my contractor and architect; the three of them reviewed all the cabinet measurements and discussed outstanding issues, so everything was resolved before he placed the actual order -- so glad he suggested this! The delivery of the cabinets was delayed a few weeks because of the snowy winter (not the fault of Kitchen World). In the end this did not delay our project, though I did have to stay on top of them a bit to get some answers on when the cabinets would be delivered. (Armond in the office was very friendly and helpful through the whole process.) The cabinets came assembled; our contractor had a specialist install the cabinets. All in all, working with Kitchen World was a very positive experience and we are thrilled with our new cabinets. When looking for kitchen cabinets I first looked at Home Depot to have a base line. I was looking at Kraftmaid cabinets (maple veneer, plywood construction, double door cabinets). They were within my budget but I was afraid to deal with Lowe’s and Home Depot because of some of the on line reviews regarding their service if something was wrong with the cabinets. After doing a lot of investigation of my own and spending many days on the net reading reviews, I decided I wanted Omega cabinets. Every place I went told me they were out of my price range. Most places would only sell me a builders grade cabinet. I went to Kitchen World to look at Diamond cabinets which got a good review. I was totally blown away when I found out they had Omega cabinets which were only slightly out of my budget. For a little more than the Kraftmaid cabinets I got solid cherry wood doors, not veneer; plywood construction; undermount glides; soft close on doors and drawers and mainly 3 drawer cabinets (depending on manufacturter, cabinets with drawers are sometimes more expensive than door cabinets). Sean was great to deal with. All of the other designers were either giving me counter space at the expense of storage space or vice versa. Sean looked at the drawings I had and came up with a plan that maximized both my storage and counter space on the first visit. He came out to measure at the same time the contractor was here so he could respond to any questions. The cabinets arrived in beautiful condition. Both Sean and Armond were wonderful to deal with. I would highly recommend Kitchen World to anyone looking for reasonably priced kitchen cabinets.
