Do not hire this contractor. His work is overpriced, mess and just not good. He does not listen to instructions and does what he wants. For example, he use a plastic plate that you usually put on a wall to prevent a door knob from making a hole in the drywall to cover a hole in the ceiling because his patch job was not neat. When installing a slate tile floor, i told him that i wanted the grout lines to be as small as they could be or just not have any grout showing between the tiles. He used the widest spacers and the grount lines are not straight. In addition, he did not clean off the extra grount in several places and now I am having trouble getting it off. He missed spots on the walls when he spacked and painted. In addtion, any time i asked him why something was not right - he gave me an excuse, instead of fixing. He work is very messy. There are paint drips on the finished walls. He did not even sand down the spackle on some of the seems of the dry wall.
