JIMENEZ AND SON'S

Chris and Marcus did a great job. I have gotten nothing but compliments about how nice it all turned out. they were professional and communicated with me when things needed to be changed or dates needed to be changed. I definitely would use them again for work at my new home and thank them for a job well done. I was nervous about how it all would look because it's my first time doing this and they helped me through it every step of the way and offered their opinions when I asked for it.

I called Angie's list and put in my request for mold removal. I waited in 2 days later they called me no 1 else had called at that point. I was so afraid of the mole I call them out right away. They said they would Remove the mold. And then ask if they could put the closet and bathroom back the way it was. The closet had 4 long shells about 4feet on the top 2 short shells in between .and a Quarter of the bathroom wall. They said yes they could do the work so I hired them Due to the Condo associations new in slow Word did not start until Late morning. Montgomery county inspector came and told the JIMENEZ That the sheet rock will go on a firewall and had to be fired he said he could do that The other quarter wall Was a bathroom 1 I asked that he was waterproof shEET ROCK. He wrote a contract which had to be submitted to the condo association for approval It was a prude in the works started..... Once mole was removed he came in with sheet rock. This is where things went wrong He did not use Whole sheet rock in my closet He put it together with looks like ten separate small parts of sheet rock. He's spray foamed The fire rated wall. Heathens spray phone the waterproof wall. I asked him what was he doing the wall is not fired rated to code. He was supposed to take pictures of the wall before he mud it To show the county the work that was done. The work was done so poorly she covered it with mud So the city with think he did it right but I saw it was not done right He also you spray foam On the water wall Which did not make it water proof at that point. I did say Something to him and he said it would be OK which I knew it wasn't. He asked for his money And I told him I don't wanna pay him at that point (I'm 65 and I live alone). He became extremely I rate and said he wanted his money So I wrote a check and I paid them. I asked my permits back he said they had expired. The county's gonna come in and look at this Mess It make me tear it out. It looks like a 5 year old The bathroom wall is not even even or stableI had another contractor command and told me You could not hang up on that bathroom it was so out of shape. He told me he could not hang the shelves on the clothes racks because theShe wraps in wrong The sheet rock he would have to redo everything. It looks so bad I knew he Was not lying. JIMENEZ Then wrote a new contract saying that $6,000 was just for the beginning of the work and additional $6,000 to be needed to add the shelves in 1⁄4 of bathroom wall My insurance company said no. He said He would not do any more work from me until I paid him and additional $6,000 He told me to find someone else to do it he was not doing any more work for me. I have no closet and can use the bathroom shower or tub. Since I refuse to sign the new contract he will not do anything. When I called him I said well you broke my table outside he said when you give me the 6,000 take it out of that. I tried calling him again , He was howling at me on the phone Tell me what he was gonna do. Tell me if you need work done call someone else. I need the 4,000 and $280 to get the bathroom and the closet done and for the permit. The county needs to come in and see that the firewall was done properly that has not been done I need help. In the contract it said he used the air blower to clear the air But he did not he use my exhaust fan It must have been really heavy smoking every cause the exhaust fan is now broken It was not me for that use. I was told I could not be in the house so I left instead of the hotel when I came back the exhaust fan was blowing clicking making noises They broke my exhaust fan For more removal so now I have to have it taken out and put it back in.

Chris and Marcus did a fantastic job! Super professional and extremely talented. Easy to work with and did the entire basement in one day.

Our basement was flooded during the recent Ida storm. Marcus and Chris performed the mold remediation for us. They did an excellent job in removing the molded drywall, paneling, and carpet with the complete trash removal. They treated wood frames and cinder blocks with antimicrobial spray and sealant to kill the existing mold and prevent the new growth. They did all these in a very professional and efficient manner. They are both young and hard working men. As a chemist, I know what they were doing and I am very satisfied with their work. The cleanup job was excellent. This company is professional and detail oriented. My husband and I recently moved into a new home and unfortunately found mold in our basement. We were recommended to Jimenez & Sons and they came out the next day! They fixed the problem and kept us updated throughout the process so we weren’t kept in the dark.
