Jerzy Galecki Painting

Jerzy was very professional. He provided a very detailed estimate which was very helpful with such a large project. Jerzy does the work himself with one other person assisting him. His attention to detail was amazing. We were very impressed with the job.

This is the second time I've used Jerzy. He painted my previous house inside and out in 2012. (I reviewed him then but the review doesn't seem to be on Angie's List any longer.) I am as enthusiastic about him now as I was then. He is professional, meticulous, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He has taken painting almost to a science in his understanding of various types and brands of paints, and how and when they should be applied. He and is workers are methodical and careful in their prep work, protecting surfaces and personal belongings, using drop clothes, plastic and taping. He is able to make necessary repairs prior to painting. He did excellent prep work on old plaster walls that were in terrible shape. In the end, the results speak for themselves. Both times I've hired him I had to wait for his availability. He does the work himself with one or more workers, depending on the job. To me it was worth the wait, for my own peace of mind. Jerzy and his team did BEAUTIFUL work throughout. Very careful and meticulous, very professional. They cleaned up after themselves every day, draped things appropriately and were a total pleasure to work with. We would hire them again any time and recommend them absolutely. It was a few years ago, so I can no longer remember the costs but I recall that it was generally in line with the other quotes we received.

He is great. He went above and beyond. When I sold the house, they commented on how great the walls looked. They cleaned up. They were very professional. I trusted him in my house. He is hands on. The house I had the work on was built in 1924 so the job he had to do was very tough.

Jerzy is a hands-on owner. He is also a perfectionist. He has an accent, but he speaks english well. He is prompt, courteous and professional. His work is outstanding. You will not find a drip or a smear anywhere. The paint lines are crisp and clean. There was no trace of the wallpaper that was there, and it was old and difficult to remove. He left the area spotless and clean - no trash at all. He uses only high quality paint. He is not the cheapest, but believe me - he is worth every single penny. Trust his opinions - he knows his business.
