It was very cold when the heater stopped working I needed someone to come out and look at it right away. Jamal was willing to do this and was able to get the part fairly quickly. The part was installed and within a very short time the heat was working again. The part itself cost close to $300 so I felt the price for the job (his time and expertise in installing the part) was reasonable.
Description of Work: My heater stopped working in the middle of November and needed a certain part replaced. Jamal's Electric came out on a Sunday to check out the situation and the part was replaced within 48 hours.

INITIALLY I CALLED THE COMPANY TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR A SEASONAL START UP, WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO COST $75.00. AFTER HE ARRIVED AND DETERMINED THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING ELSE WRONG THE PRICE WENT UP TO $125.00. I THOUGHT THIS WAS INAPPROPRIATE CONSIDERING THE PROBLEM WAS NOT SERIOUS AND IT DIDN'T TAKE AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF TIME TO FIND THE BLOCKAGE OF THE CHIMNEY.
Description of Work: MY HEATER WAS NOT WORKING. THE TECHNICIAN WENT THROUGH A SERIES OF TRIALS TO DETERMINE WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. IT TURNED OUT THAT A BIRD HAD FALLEN INTO MY CHIMNEY AND WAS SITTING AT THE BASE DUCT TO THE HEATER. I GOT A SAME DAY APPOINTMENT, WHICH I THOUGHT WAS GOOD, BUT THE TECHNICIAN WAS AN HOUR LATE.
