We needed mold testing and remediation for two bathrooms and an attic. What a pleasure to deal with J and A Environmental services! Al quickly returned my initial call and came out the following day with John. I received a very detailed explanation of what would occur during remediation. Other mold and remediation companies I had contacted would only do the job if both bathrooms were remediated at the same time, leaving me with no functioning bathroom. J and A figured out how to contain the mold in the master bath while my hall bathroom would be remediated and reconstructed. They waited to begin work until my insurance company received all the necessary documentation, and promptly responded to my many phone calls and requests. When they arrived to begin the job they thoroughly covered all hallways, taping down the drop cloths and plastic. The access to the attic is through the ceiling in my master bedroom closet. Al and John encased the hanging clothes and shelves in thick plastic, and I did not need to remove anything. When their work was completed the closet and all of its contents were spotless. They carefully padded and covered the bathtub in the hall bathroom before removing the walls and tile. I have never seen workmen show such respect for property or owners. Two teams of workers, including Al and John, completed the mold remediation of the attic and the removal of the bathroom walls , tile and fixtures in one day. A smaller crew finished the mold remediation in the second bathroom the next morning. After each days work I received a series of pictures of the work that had been completed that day. Al and John were kind enough to leave the dumpster for a few extra days for the contractor who was removing the hall bathroom floor. Once my hall bathroom is functioning again, Al and John will remediate the master bath. I can honestly say I am looking forward to seeing them again.

I am so glad I hired this company. They made me feel comfortable and confident in their work. They explained each step so I could understand the process. It s difficult to decide who to hire, I lucked out.

J andA came out to provide a free quote and completed the work that same weekend. When doing the free estimate they were the most thorough company while examining my house. They were the only company that tested all the walls in my basement area for water damage and where the only ones who told me the basement floors would need to be ripped up, and thank goodness they took up the floors as they found black mold underneath the wood floors in multiple spots. The turnaround time and quality of work was excellent and much appreciated. J and A went above and beyond in their service and even helped by recommending the next steps I should take to ensure my basement stays free of water and mold in the future. I would highly recommend this company over any of the others as they are extremely thorough and go above and beyond to ensure the job is done right. If I ever have the need for mold removal in the future, I will definitely be using J and A again.

Al and his crew were fabulous. Al explained everything that they recommended, after having taken a careful look at the mold in our garage. They gave us a fair price, which they guaranteed at the start. They arrived on time, moved everything away from the walls and stacked it neatly in the middle of the garage. They wore the requisite hazmat clothing and masks and never entered the house, pet our request. After they had finished, they walked us through the garage, explaining what they had done. As we still had a leak from the yard ( not caused by them), they volunteered to return at no charge should that small area need remediation. I cannot recommend them more highly! Bravo!

These guys were the best. Young, intelligent in their business, courteous, professional. They took the time to explain everything they proposed to do AND why they were doing it. They did everything that was contracted to do and threw in extra work that really improved on the basic contact items. Basement and garage look great now. Really helped with the sale of our property. We moved into a new home from out of state. The basement had previously flooded and tested positive for mold spores from store bought test. Plugged into Home Advisor the issue and 3 businesses came up. Within 5 minutes of sending the email Al had called me and stopped over the next day to see the project. NO OTHER BUSINESS RETURNED THE CALL. On a Saturday afternoon, one week after moving in, Al was at my kitchen table calling his crew to work the NEXT day... which was Sunday. Know anyone else starting a business this hungry? When they arrived, the crew was a ridiculous bunch of hustlers. Cool Fellas. Worked fast, moved a basement of boxes, sealed everything and did work. Super-strong spore game. Can't say enough about Al, though. Communicates his ass off. Talks every step through. Followed up with the tests and results and went above and beyond throughout. 100% Entrepreneur. J&A will be the only recommendation. Priced right and made an uncomfortable situation as much a pleasure as could be.
