July 26, 2023 Our power went out after yesterday's storm. I checked the breaker box and the main breaker was popped. This happened before while we were away. I reset the breaker and there was a pop and sparks from the box outside connected to the air conditioner. Now the AC and main breaker were popped. I didn't want to mess around with it so called iTECH around 5:15PM. They said someone would be over within an hour. Edison showed up withinn an hour and showed me exactly what was wrong. Some insulation on a wire from the AC box to the in-house breaker was off at the AC box and it was causing the short. Also that wire should have been in a conduit going inside to the main inside breakers. And, the main wire going into the ouside meter was dried and cracked with a deteriorated connection to the meter box outside. Well, Edison disconnected the AC and made sure we could have power overnight. He gave me a price, took a deposit and said he would be back the next morning by 9:30. Next morning, today, Edison and Nikalin showed up early! at 9:15 and got to work. Everything was finished in a bit over 2 hours. Wiring replaced, boxes and wire entries into house sealed. Also replaced the AC breaker inside. Power back on and all is well. Those guys were great, professional AND friendly AND very open to questions. Recommended!

They gave an estimate of over $2400 for what would have been a total of 4 - 6 hours work with no materials. JUST LABOR. $190 to check and re-calk around a light fixture that were removed and re-installed by siding guys. 7 fixtures for $1300? For THAT price, you can buy brand NEW fixtures and have them installed. $1300 for them to break open a $10 tube of silicone and apply? $400 - $600 PER HOUR is their rate. Wow. DO NOT call these guys unless you don't care about price. Rating of 1.0 ONLY becasue you can't check 0.

My experience from start to finish with iTech has been an excellent one. Tony is quick to respond to calls/texts, and his crew shows up promptly as well. The work they did in my home - adding recessed lighting, ceiling fans, a car charger, etc - exceeded my expectations. Edison was the head electrician onsite; he is very knowledgeable, and also a nice guy as well. Overall, I'd highly recommend iTech to friends and family, as well as folks here.

My husband and I were really disappointed to find out after the inspection of our future home that it would need to be completely rewired for safety purpose. We needed trustworthy electricians to get it done fast, well, and for a reasonable price so we could enjoy our first home as homeowners with peace of mind. We got three different quotes from Gen3 with different tiers of service and cost. I sent those quotes to multiple electricians to see if they could do better on price. iTech got back to me immediately. They said they would only do the top tier job so they could bring us up to code AND said they'd do it for 5k less than the Gen3 guys! Tony, Edison, and crew were responsive, respectful, knowledgeable, quick, thorough, and thoughtful in their work. They treated our home as if it were their own and cleaned up each time they left. They were flexible with our schedule and tolerant of our two small dogs even though the little one can be a little unwelcoming. They will be taking care of the electric in our house from now on. In fact, I called Tony today because we had a small problem with the bathroom switch. He came out right away and replaced the switch! Just like that! Thanks so much, iTech. Thanks for helping make our house feel like a home.
