Description of Work: They have done drywalling, amazing framing around my front window w/half dome on top which is difficult to do. Also excellent painting job. I've used them 2x before. I plan to use their services next Tuesday.

Description of Work: I called the phone number provided on Angie's List and the voicemail stated that email was their preferred method of communication so I sent an email on 4/15/14. Today is 4/22/14 and I never received a response, neither an email or a phone call.

Description of Work: They gave me an estimate. I haven't actually got with them yet. I called them. He came out the next day and gave me a free estimate within two hours. It was for a bathroom remodeling.

Description of Work: Ian redid our hall bath. He tore down wallpaper and dry wall. He tore town and replaced tub, toilet, vanity, tile (on floor and a portion of the wall), medicine cabinet and light/fan. He relaid concrete floor prior to replacing tile. He laid drywall and painted wall and trim.

Description of Work: Ian installed a new back door for me at first. He did a very good job so I decided to hire his company again to do the rest of the remodeling in my house. The work I had done included a complete bathroom remodel. He tore out the old walls and floors and reinstalled all new to complete my bathroom. Also I had them repaint the walls, ceilings and woodwork in my house and tile my kitchen floor, backsplash, foyer, family room and powder room. I think that Ian really makes sure that his work is as close to perfect as possible. For example, I watched as he installed the tiling and if the color of the tile did not look right to him, he would put it aside and I think that these little details are what set apart the good contractors from the bad ones.

Description of Work: I first hired Ian to remodel my upstairs bathroom he had to totally gut the room down to the studs. Ian put down a wetbed and floor tiles. The walls were ceramic tile with decorative ceramic capping and molding The tub area was tiled from the tub rim to the ceiling. All new bathroom fixtures were included. I was so pleased with the job I rehired him to completely remodel my first floor including the living room, dining room, kitchen and a powder room. Ian had great ideas for the remodel. He completely redesign the layout of the kitchen and powder room. His suggestion to put up crown molding in the living and dining room was wonderful and wainscoting in the dining room. A breakfast bar between the kitchen and dining room granite counter tops new kitchen cabinets and appliances. In the bathroom he had to rework the plumbing for the toilet and sink. He put down a wetbed and tiled the floor and tiled behind the sink.

Description of Work: I e-mailed this company several times with a request to contact me concerning a kitchen remodel. They never returned a single e-mail. I would understand if they were too busy to take the job, but they should have at least been professional enough to respond to my inquiry.

Description of Work: Ian Stefenack came out to my house to give an estimate on a project.

Description of Work: Ian did three jobs for us - the first job was a complete renovation of our upstairs bathroom that included moving an existing wall 6 feet into the adjoining bedroom to open up the space in the bathroom. He replaced the sub flooring and re-worked where the toilet, sink and radiator would be. Prepared with a wet bed and laid 12"x12' marble tiles on a diagonal. The walls ceramic tile 12"x6" with decorative ceramic capping and molding 4 ft up from floor. The tub area was tiled from tub rim to ceiling. All new fixtures including lighting. The second job involved finishing our kitchen with hardwood flooring, cabinets, stove top installed in a custom designed pseudo fireplace - granite counter tops and an under-mounted sink. The third job was new construction -add a summer kitchen and full bath to our first floor. Slate flooring 12"x12" with 4"x4" on a wet bed and custom designed raised panels with slate trim, nooks, shower seat, access panel and jacuzzi tub. All appliances and accessories.

Description of Work: Ian renovated our bathroom and kitchen. This work included a new wet bed in the shower and on the floor, as well as, set tiles on the shower walls and on the bathroom floor. He, also, installed drywall on the walls and placed the basic bathroom fixtures. In the kitchen, he set the floor tiles and backsplash.
