Moved 2+ years ago and they did a great job and stored some items. Now everything was removed and incorporated with another move. Everything was as described—punctual, responsive and professional. Initially I looked at several movers and Isaac’s offered the best prices as well as excellent service.

Update 02/12/2020 An update on the feedback, since the corporate office had reached out to me to correct the small issues that I had with the service. The office was very concern about my issues and they worked very hard in addressing and correcting those small issues. Because of that, I would recommend and will use their services again in the future.
Description of Work: They did a moving service. It went okay, they were careful, on time and very professional.

Had a horrible experience with Isaacs. The men who picked up our property in NJ did a great job of packing and loading. After they picked it up we were informed by phone that the price for the move would be increased by $2,000.00. When our property arrived in Florida the truck (which was not the same truck that picked up our items in NJ) had a hole in the top with severe damage. The hole was directly over our property. The Isaacs delivery men said it rained the whole trip down from NJ. Many of our boxes were soaked along with an oriental rug. All of our property was damp if not wet. The men placed our property into the climate controlled storage unit that we rented to keep our things in until we buy a house. The Isaacs claims person informed us that once our items were delivered their liability ended. We don't even know what is ruined and what is not. Also, several items were missing. We will not be able to look through our items until we hire someone to move it to our house once we finally purchase. We are both senior citizens with medical problems and cannot move our property ourselves. We hired Isaacs because of their advertisement of how trustworthy they were. What a huge and expensive mistake.

I used this company to move from allentown, July 2018 and they stored our items until the end of November,2018. Our house in Philadelphia was finished and they moved our items in on November 27, 2018 . Since then I have been emailing them about our broken items. They broke 8 items including 4 irreplaceable art sculptures. One sculpture is worth over $6000. The requested an appraisal which we performed after they approved the appraiser. Now you have refused to pay me the appraised value. It has been over 5 months and each time I asked what was happening with our claim, I was told it was still being reviewed. I took out enough insurance to cover full replacement value of my items. Yesterday, 4/11/2019, after I threatened to noitify a lawyer and the Federal Administration, the general manager has offered to pay me 1/2 of the appraiser's value. All the damage that was done was due to their subpar packing. They wrapped the glass pieces in several sheets of paper and put the glass pieces on top of each other! They claim to be professionals? They broke 2 wooden tables and sheared the legs off of one of them! The repair was by their top furniture repair person and you can see the glue, putty and the legs do not match up. I should have never acceopted the pieces in that condition but I did. They packed 10 of my husban's suits in 2 wardrobe boxes and did not secure the top nd all ten suits ended up at the bottom of the box. Four months later the suits were wrinkled. We had to have them pressed and it cost us over $100. They refused to pay for this. I would not recommend anyone use thiscompany. Isaacs refusal to pay me what is owed to me is irresponsible, offensive and poor business practice. This has been the worst experience I have had in my life. They need to pay me what is owed to me. I had to pay them immediately at the end of everyday and now 5 months later I am still waiting to be paid what is owed me. DO NOT USE THEM!

This was the most incredible experience moving I have ever had and I have moved several times. I had the pleasure of working with Rey, Alex, Nick and Jon. They were incredible professional, careful, helpful and diligent. Everything was so easy because of their hard work. I would recommend them to anyone looking to move. The process from the start was so customer service oriented. David set up an in home visit to assess our items and what the cost would be. AMAZING COMPANY AND I WILL NEVER MOVE WITH ANYONE ELSE!

Easy to set up, arrived on time, and the movers were nice guys. Those were the only positives of the whole experience. First, I had a parking spot across the street which is the closest to the apartment but movers did not want to park there since it was further away than blocking off a lane on a main street in the city. This obviously caused issues with the parking authority who threatened to tow. Solution: I had keep lookout and watch the truck during the move. Speaking of the move, it went...slow. Granted I underestimated the amount to be move but it was all packed and the furniture was disassembled prior. Even with this it took two trips which doubled the estimated price. Their insurance is overpriced but looking back on it I should have purchased as my 2k PB farm table has a nice 2 inch deep gouge in it now since it wasn't wrapped in the truck. Lastly after closing with the office over the phone prior to the last trip back to the new place I was called by the office who demanded more money since they closed the account to "early." I paid since I just wanted them to leave and not have to deal with this company again but it was a terrible process from start to finish.

We had pack 99% of the apartment with the exception of the large furniture. We contacted Several moving companies but Isaac's was the OnLY mover that was able to work within our timeframe. We needed the pick up to be within a few days and the drop off to be a few days later. Isaac's was patient with us with making the arrangements even when we had to make a last minute change of dates because the apartment complex decided to repave the parking lot on the day that we were going to move!! The movers came exactly on time. There were 3 men that worked efficiently, taking care of the things that they had to protect (furniture), and were polite and caring. Each person clearly had a responsibility and they worked well together. The entire apartment, which was on the 2nd floor, was packed on the truck in less than 2 hours. We were amazed! The scheduled delivery was 2 days later. Isaac's contacted us the following day to confirm the deliver time of 8am in Ohio. A half hour before arriving they called to tell us where they were. They pulled up in front of the new condo at exactly 8am!! The truck that arrived was different than the one that picked it up so we know that it was transferred somewhere along the way. There were 2 men making the delivery. They worked quickly and carefully and everything was moved into the condo in about 1 1/2 hours! Because we knew that everything had been moved to a different truck, we expected something to be missing or broken. Absolutely NOTHING was damaged or missing. Using Isaac's was a very positive experience for us and we would definitely recommended them and use, them in the future. We appreciate the job they did for us.

Our move was as perfect as a move can be thanks to the wonderful people at Issac's. Martha, who was the coordinator was responsive, friendly and responded quickly to all of our questions. Our movers were polite, friendly, careful with our property and efficient on both ends - in NJ and FL. We had the same people since we paid to have a dedicated truck just for our belongs. We did not want our furniture and other items and boxes offloaded and re-loaded on a shared truck. We can't say enough good things about our experience with Issac's and......not one item was broken or damaged. After the move was complete, we called Martha to thank her for her help and to commend the movers. She sent us a lovely thank you card, how nice (and rare) is that type of service.

We did not end up contracting with Isaac's because our pick-up and delivery locations require a box truck (small twisty streets). However, because of weight limits Isaac's trucks are subject to on interstate transport, the actual travel would need to be in an 18-wheeler, tractor trailer. Thus Isaac's crew would have to load/unload our stuff two extra times at their warehouses in Philadelphia and again outside Boston. Even still, their price was competitive. I just think that kind of extra handling is exposure to damage or loss. Nonetheless, the office agent who kept in touch with me through the whole process, Martha Lopez, was excellent, helpful and understanding. I would encourage anyone considering a move to request estimate from them.

So after a month in storage I am finally settled into my new place. Issac's was great. I've never had just a stress free move. Two of the three movers I had on the front end were the ones who delivered my stuff, both Javier and Enrico (I think two of the three were javier so I kept forgetting his name) were great and were very careful with my stuff. I've had horrible moving experiences before and this was a welcomed change. Issac's by far has been my best moving experience and this is my eighth move. They were great!
Description of Work: They carefully wrapped all my furniture and labelled it because it needed to go into storage since I'm still looking for a new home where I'm moving. I had a horrible experience during my last move and this was a 180. All three guys were great, respectful, efficient and took great care with all of my furniture. It's still in storage so I can't say whether it was the perfect move but so far it's been the best move of my life. Thank you to issac's for making my move a little less stressful! Now I just have to move from philly to dc.

I liked the price and they were very accommodating. I am allergic to the moving pads and they were able to use an alternative. They were careful with the packing and everything was great. They did not have enough guys to do the unpacking. Two guys were able to do the unloading and unpacking in two days. They could not get more people out here and that was a little disheartening. There was very little breakage, which was surprising. I put in a request for insurance coverage. I had very little resistance on the claim for things that were broken. We got everything worked out and the insurance will take care of everything. It only took them two days to pack everything. They came in under bid. It all worked out fine and I was very happy. I would use them again.

How'd it go? I got a long, hard, look at what h*** would be like. my items showed up, thru a 3rd party in Seattle. when it was time to get my stuff (after a major amount of confusion of Isaac's paperwork), I experienced a shake down by a guy named Moshe on a Saturday morning. he was screaming at me! i finally got my stuff but most of it was broken and most appalling, most of my items never left Pennsylvania. I lost have of my things. i spent another year jumping through Jon Denzel's hoops (the man is SMOOTH!) and ended up with nothing. I lost thousands. don't ever, ever ever use these guys. if you do, you get what you deserve. i chose them because they are Israeli army trained. not impressed. in fact, i was repelled.

I feel that the problem began with the guy who gave me the estimate for moving. Instead of asking me what I wanted to move, I feel that he should have asked what don't you want to take. That way it would have included things I just didn't and quot;seeand quot; that needed to be moved such as a rug and some pictures on the walls. The day of the move, they came on time. There was a lot more packing than they had expected, but they didn't complain. The person who packed the kitchen did an excellent job. The other packer did not pack everyting that needed to be packed. He left whole areas unpacked and misc. items in each closet that were also not packed. He also did not label the boxes as to where they were packed, so when moving in, we had no idea where these boxes should go. Consequently, some of the boxes that were left in the basement of the new place, were suppose to be on the third floor. They did however, work hard until about 8PM. The problem is that they couldn't fit everything in the one truck they brought. As a result, the company had to rent a truck and finish packing the next day, which was settlement day. They left literally five minutes before the time the final walk through by the buyers was suppose to occur. The price of the move was about $2,000 more than the price quoted. I have no doubt that the final amount was what the move was worth because of the extra packing and the extra truck. I just wish that they had been more accurate with the estimated because the final amount was so much more that the other three companies I had gotten estimates from. The men who delivered the items were excellent.
Description of Work: The company provided an original estimate of the cost of moving. They packed about half of my belongings, including all ot the fragile items. Moved contents approximately 4 miles away.

1. Estimate was grossly inaccurate. Job charged over twice as much as Hugh end of estimate (and lt;$3,000 difference) 2. Items poorly packed and handled (ex portions if curios not covered in blanker, bottoms of boxes smashed from being dropped). 3. Items left in incorrect areas (ex: office file cabinet in garage) 4. Huge items such as dressers block access from boxes containing items we need 5. Damaged my floors in both homes. 6. Missing screws, etc from furniture they disassembled. Can't put furniture back together. Called corporate 1 week ago and am still waiting for a response. Horrible, horrible experience

Response from Isaac's Moving & Storage
I am looking forward to working with Ms. (membe name removed) . It has been a difficult situation and Ms. (member name removed) was clearly very upset about the move. The first thing that I was able to clarify was the fact that the move was not actually way over the estimate. In actuality the difference was due to the fact that Ms. (member name removed) was charged $2400 for the purchase of 200 blankets at $12 a piece because the furniture was left protected in the home and the blankets were left behind. I immediately credited back the $2400 to her credit card although we still have not gotten back the blankets. I offered Ms. (member name removed) that we would give her a very discounted rate for the continuation of her move from her temporary residence to her permanent home in order to make sure that all was resolved in the end. It is difficult at this point to decipher if there are damages to the furniture due to the fact that they remain covered by moving pads. At first she accepted this idea but then rejected it. At this point I would like to resolve the situation with Ms. (member name removed) and look forward to working with her once again.

This is only the second move in over 50 years of marriage so we are essentially novices. We have heard horror stories of furniture being held hostage and furniture being lost, knocked around and damaged, but this move had none of that to it. From the estimating to the actual move itself this company is very professional. There is a back office person who answered all of my questions and stayed in touch throughout the entire process. The cost was exactly as estimated and they take credit cards so there is no hassle of a cashier's check or cash.
Description of Work: We used Isaac's for a two day move of the accumulation of fifty years worth of furniture and "stuff". They loaded the contents of our Philadelphia house on the truck on the first day in about 4 hours (we had done the packing ourselves). The partially full truck stayed in their warehouse overnight. The second day they drove to a storage location about 60 miles away and loaded the contents of it. They arrived at our final destination about 10 miles away and immediately began to unload. The crew chief had checked the weather and decided to get approval for an additional worker (at no additional cost to us). They unloaded our furniture and boxes without complaint during a raging nor'easter with wind gusts of 60 miles an hour and an unrelenting cold rain. These men worked hard and steady under really terrible conditions. They would normally have stayed and helped set up some of the beds and any other set up, but we were truly fearful that they would not be able to drive back across a bridge with the winds picking up so as soon as everything was in the house we sent them off with a BIG THANK YOU.

The movers were prompt and very professional. Once done I had questions about the bill but realized I had to handle my discrepancy with the company and not the mover as he was not understanding the issue. Called the office on Monday morning to discuss the overpayment, was informed that they would get back to me that day. Today is Friday and I still have not heard back from this company. I went with the company from a referral that was given to me; will not recommend this company to others and will inform my friend not to provide any more recommendations.

Isaacs Moving and Storage had estimated this job for approximately $300.00 and it did come in at $100.00 more than the estimate. They did an adequate job. They were reasonably priced. They stuck to the price that they quoted. They had to do a last minute Sunday move because the prior residents moved out later then planned and the movers had no problem with that. They were very accommadating. I could not have wished for a better moving experience! Isaac's quote was 700 less than other quotes we had received. Our stuff was handled with so much care and attention that we regretted paying for the additional insurance! Our things could have been dropped to the ground from the top of the truck and not been damaged at all since they were wrapped and taped so carefully. The moving team was like a well-oiled machine and they were so professional and helpful. I found the reception staff to be a bit rude at times, but they, too, were responsive in meeting my needs and answering my questions. Use Isaac's. They will take a lot of the stress that comes from moving off your shoulders!

Everything went fine until it got to my couch. The movers had MINIMAL TOOLS to remove the couch legs and attempted to move the couch without removing the legs. The couch by the way was moved in with the legs on with no problem. They ended up scratching the legs and the couch and blamed me for not having the tools to remove the legs. My father had to come over to help get the couch out. Only with my father's skills were they able to get the couch out. I noted on the report to Isaac's that they damaged my couch and that I expected compensation in return and NEVER heard from the company again.

A nightmare!!! There was an independent sales person working with me who went to my house and gave me an estimate for $1200.00. The day of pickup, the movers didn't show up and when I called the company they said they never got a confirmation from me, although I gave everything (including my credit card # to the sales person). I was having the walk-through that day in my place and after the 1st stress, John (sales director) called me to confirm they would be able to go there. There were 3 people and 1 came to tell me the other 2 were being lazy and that I should push them (meanwhile I was trying to get the home ready for the walk through). I left my home for 20 min. and when the movers left, 6 1/2 hrs. I realized they ate my ice cream and stuck a cup in my freezer that would damage it if I haven't found it. I ended up paying $1875 because they said instead of 4 vaults as in my estimate they would need 7 vaults (how they can be so off in their estimate.I don't know). The sales person never returned my phone call. After that we agreed to have my delivery date as of April 26 and I asked for another estimate to avoid surprises. The estimate came $717 and was described as 5.5 hr. of labor and 0.5 for travel. I ended paying $920 because they said I also should pay for loading the truck (3 hrs). Finally, checking my items I realized they damaged couple of things, opened some of my plastic boxes (all were sealed when they picked up), broke one of my beverages (15 yr. whiskey bottle is missing if not broken) and changed the box without any communications with me. And I got an alert from my bank account that they were charging $444 and I had to call to get it canceled. I still don't know why they charged that. All the damage caused will be lower than $500 that is the deductible I chose for my insurance so, I am not even getting what they broke/damage - and yes, I know, my fault! I thought I was dealing with people who care for what they do. Before I forget, in my 1st estimate, there wasn't any additional cost for a box to my LCD TV. I ended up paying $100 only for the box. I will NEVER use them again!
