Paul Lebon of IDS Architects was paid 1st payment of $15,000.00 to perform duplex conversion from single family . Because of variance permit approval delays, Paul Lebon assured me that he had approved building permits and started 2nd floor demo on February 09, 2023 , On March 10, 2023 , L & I stopped all construction , fined me $1,200.00 for no building , variance , electrical and plumbing permit . As of March 13,2024 , the Zoning Board of Adjustments granted permit a change of use variance from single family to duplex dwelling. I notified Paul Lebon of IDS Architects and project manager Sophia to schedule demo and requested a revised contract on March 13, 2023. For 7 weeks, I texted, called , emailed and finally Paul Lebon and I met in his office on May 2, 2024 . Paul Lebon agreed on revised contract, prepare electrical plans if needed and request to meet electrician On June 24, 2024 , my electrician scheduled a meeting to discuss electrical layout ( as request and scheduled by General Contractor Paul Lemon & Electrician). General Contractor Paul Lebon refuses to answer all calls from electrician and myself .

working with IDS team was very helpful. I needed an occupancy permit for my beauty and nail salon business. I contacted them, they responded fast and explained to me the process and how it should be obtained. they took measurement , generated architectural, and safety plans. submitted to the city . reviewed codes with examiner and followed up until permit was issued.

IDS Team were very professional and helped us not just in designing but also provided complete support during the construction of our beauty new house renovation and the addition that we added. Theresa prior experience in working on similar projects helped a lot. We will re-hire them for all our future endeavors. Also recommend their services to all.

They responded fast to my request. IDS team did a great job. Provided all construction and architectural drawings. Gathered all information from L&I city of Philadelphia Licenses and inspection regarding my property. Obtained all budling and Zoning permits. Instructed my contractor with construction details and help managing my project.

My experience with IDS team was amazing. Paul explained everything to us provided concept ideas and designs, Architectural and Construction drawings. Theresa did a wonderful job putting this project together 3d rendering drawings and perspectives showed visual realistic views prior to the actual construction finish. Pulled out building permits from township. IDS team were available when we needed them during our project construction. They answered every question and worked with us on our limited budget.

To me, IDS did a very wonderful job. They helped me obtained all the necessary documents, did the Architectural and construction drawings. Provided engineering report to city of Philadelphia examiner L&I that included detailed construction drawings signed sealed by PA structural Engineer . They helped removed all the violations and stop work order that was placed on the property, Passed building inspection, Thank you IDS team for all your help .

They provided an excellent service. All drawings and required permits for the project were issued pretty fast. IDS team pulled it out together very nicely. thanks for helping me with my building project. My experience was amazing and I am happy with the result.

We couldn't be happier. When Paul came out to measure, he told us that Theresa M would work with us and make our project come alive. We were skeptical, thought it was a sales pitch. OMG, he was not kidding. Theresa was amazing and quite patient with us as we couldn't make up our minds. She provided us an awesome 2D & 3D plan that we can use to finalize our project. We would totally recommend her and plan to use her again in the near future as we go into Phase II of our project. Theresa always made herself available and had quick turnaround times. She brought great perspective both for project design and finishes. The cost was reasonable and the work product was extraordinary!!!

The property is currently used as a church. Needed drawings converting it back to a residential / duplex submit to L&I for zoning before dead line.

FRUAD! FRAUD! FRAUD! NEVER USE!! TOOK FULL PAYMENT AND DISAPPEARED! The negligence of this company is one of the most extremes I’ve seen in my life. Not only is this company irresponsible, but not responsive. The entire project of my bedroom was discussed, contracted and paid in full. Since then they made excuses for 2 months that they are waiting for permits to be cleared. Fast forward 10 months and completely unresponsive. I have dealt with a lot of contractors and this by far is completely fraudulent. For anyone thinking about using this company. DONT. From one victim to another…don’t. I will be taking legal action. They definitely messed with the wrong person.

IDS Architects did a wonderful job. They have delivered an excellent result. Produced Architectural plans, engineering and construction documents needed for permits. HVAC , Plumbing and Electrical plans as well. expedited the service and all permits were pulled out from the city. Price is very reasonable . They worked with me toward my project's budget and put up a well nicely executional plan to complete it. I am so happy with my home addition.

Not well. IDS Architect LLC completed Addition Blueprints for a 2 bedroom suite and a handicap shower bath. The blueprint was to have contained architectural floor plans, electrical and plumbing drawings and elevations (Engineering Plan) The cost for this work (floor plans and Engineering plan (electrical & plumbing drawings) was $2,000. Upon receipt of the Blueprint, which consisted of just a sketch, I asked for a more detailed CONSTRUCTION PLAN. The plan that I got was a narrative list of what would be done according to engineering plan, but there were no engineering drawings. I was really concerned about the lack of real construction detail. In addition to $2,000 for the blueprint, IDS was paid $1,600 for permits. A major concern: CONTRACTOR INSURANCE. IDS ONLY CARRIED WORKMEN COMPENSATION as stated in the contract, which I did not sign, and expected the homeowner to” carry other necessary insurance.” IDS did not provide proof of General Contractor Liability Insurance.

Paul was ponctual, answered all my questions above and beyond, scheduling an appointment was so smooth, i definetly recommend.

I wanted plans and construction work done at one of my properties. I hired IDS to help me out with my project. It took some times obtaining all necessary permits from township. IDS team helped me throughout this process and I was happy at the end. Paul was amazing.

After receiving a quote and proposal for the work, IDS Architect did not deliver. Every appointment was rescheduled, and for each appointment that was not rescheduled, they were either extremely late or did not show up. Their responsiveness is extremely slow or non-existent. They are just not a firm to work with as they lack basic professionalism.

I needed plans for the city, I contacted IDS . they responded fast produced Architectural drawings. IDS team are very professional in what they do. They explained the process to me provided me the support that I needed toward my project. Theresa, is very fun and friendly to work with, she is an amazing designer. 3d perspective views look stunning . Obtained all necessary building permits.
