Description of Work: They rewired a few 3-speed floor lamps for me for approx $50/lamp. On two of the lamps, they replaced the socket and harp to enable me to use them with compact fluorescent bulbs. The only minor annoyance has been they didn't have the work completed by the day it was promised. Call before coming to pick it up to make sure the work is completed.

+ 1 moreHarvey's specialty is antique lighting. He also will work in other metal products - fireplace equipment. He has repaired new lights for me as well. He is very pleasant to work with and makes good suggestions on how to proceed with repairing or renovating your pieces. His work is always perfect. When I request an estimate he always performs the work to the price.
Description of Work: Harvey has repaired or rewired numerous lamps and chandeliers for me over the last 5 years. I have purchased several antique fixtures from him as well. He has also silver coated a chandelier and removed lacquer from light fixtures (I wanted them to age instead of having a shiny finish). He has converted European chandeliers to US current and light bulbs. He has converted candlesticks to lamps for me as well.
