+ -1 moreThe workmanship was superb and the price was entirely reasonable. Our only problem was with timing. The owner picked up the pillows, cushions, and dining room chairs before we left for a trip and he assured us that he would have completed the work by the time we returned. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, but he did go out of his way to complete the work within a few days. Again, the quality of his work was excellent and It's almost as if we have a new couch and new chairs. If we need further upholstery work, we won't hesitate to go to Guy's Upholstery again.
Description of Work: Guy's Upholstery reupholstered six dining room chairs, replaced the feather pillows on the backs and sides of an easy chair and a couch, and replaced the seat cushions on the chair and couch.

+ -1 moreDut does beautiful, first-rate work. He is not always that fast, but I am rarely in a hurry so I tell him he can do my jobs when he has time. I have and do recommend the work of Dut at Guy's Upholstery to anyone.
Description of Work: I had two antique chairs recovered with two different fabrics. The store is a mess, but don't let that discourage you. The work is first-rate. Dut made new custom cushions with feathers and foam. There is a beautiful lining. The stitches are tight. Dut also has a pretty good selection of fabrics in house and he gave me an excellent price (e.g., 75% discount) on a mohair that was left over from another job. I also had him re-string a paper cord seat for a Danish mid-Century design chair a few years ago. This too was excellent work. Reupholstering is expensive...sometimes more expensive than buying new altogether, but old furniture (even furniture from the 70's) is generally MUCH better made than current furniture, so worth the expense.
