My husband and I just moved into a house and needed several of the rooms painted. We contacted MRP Painting for a quote, and Matt impressed us both with his professionalism and detail to attention--pointing out things that that may need corrected that we had missed. When arranging for the work to be done, Matt was extremely responsive and helpful in choosing paint finishes and getting the work scheduled as soon as possible. When the work commenced, the crew was right on time and did an amazing job throughout the process! After MRP was done, Matt checked in with me (even after a personal walk-through) just to make sure everything was perfect. Talk about great customer service!! Even our friends that came over after the house was painted commented on how clean the lines were and what a great paint job it was! My husband and I have another couple of rooms we need painted, and will of course be contacting Matt and MRP! Would recommend them highly to anyone.

The experience of working with MRP Painting, Mr. Matthew Rathgeb was a pleasure before, during and after the work was completed. His response to my inquiry for an estimate (by phone) was immediate (same day), followed up by an inspection the next day. I was impressed how thorough he was in explaining what would have to done, the length of time the job would take and overall follow through. - He cares about the quality of performance he and his fellow employees provide as well as the efficiency and timeliness in how it is done. They started on time each day and during the interim left the area in a neat and orderly state.. Mr. Rathgeb inspected the work, while in progress, and when the job was completed. He kept me informed of any possible changes in schedule due to the weather. , He arranged to have all the equipment delivered ahead of time to enable the workers to start on schedule . His employees were focused on their work and cared about their own performance. It wasn't just a job to them. They reflected their boss' mission of quality, efficiency and caring. The job was completed on time, as promised. Mr. Rathgeb did not require a deposit. The full amount for the job was paid upon completion, subject to my satisfaction. I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THEIR PERFORMANCE AS WELL AS WORKING WITH THEM. I had confidence in Mr. Rathgeb from the beginning and was never disappointed. It is a well run organization. I wouldn't hesitate to use again. ,

The job went perfectly from start to finish. Matt and his team were punctual, personable, skilled and professional at their jobs. We had negotiated a fair price before the job began to include all incidentals and they stayed within the budget while responding to all our requests as the job unfolded.The finished product came out better than we envisioned when planning the color schemes in each room. The primer applied to areas that had been wallpapered previously worked very well as did the painting over the walls that still had wallpaper on them.You would never know the wallpaper was under the paint! They spackled the drywall where needed to provide a smooth finish after the paint was applied.They were so efficient they completed what may have taken other contractors 3 days in 2! We would definately use MRP painters again for any paint related project.

Matt was strong on communication, keeping me updated on schedules and checking in with me about my satisfaction with the job. He and the crew worked effectively and within a reasonable amount of time (two days) had the job completed. I would recommend his services. I cannot comment on the cost since I did not comparison shop to any great extent. The price seemed appropriate and the job was well done.

From the moment I called MRP Painting to come out to give us an estimate to the day the job was completed, there wasn't one second when we weren't entirely happy that we had chosen MRP to do the work for us. Matt is without a doubt the best contractor we've ever dealt with. He's a true professional. He means what he says: if he says he'll call you, he calls. If he says he'll email the contract, he emails. If he says he'll be there at 8 am, he's there at 8. And since he can't do everything himself, he's made sure he has the best people working for him. Paul is the one who did 99% of our painting, and he did a wonderful job. He carefully and thoroughly prepped the surfaces, made sure our furniture and rugs were well protected and did an amazing job of cleaning up when he was finished. He did excellent work. Our house looks great. It's no wonder that MRP Painting received the 2012 Angie's List Super Service Award. If there were a higher award--a Super Duper Service Award--we would definitely nominate MRP to receive it.

Couldn't have asked for better service and quality work. Came out right away for estimate, excellent price. Showed up and worked during the hours he said. All painters were pleasant, polite and did all they could to minimize impact to us. He is particular about the quality and made sure we were happy when finished. Definitely recommend and will use again. No worries here.

The work area was cleaner then when he began when he was finished. I never knew it was under work. They were so poite and professional. I was consulted on the paint colors when I was stuck between two and I LOVE the colors! I constantly get complimented on our paint job :)

MRP Painting did an excellent job painting my living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom walls and caulking. The walls look great. The crew were professional and provided very good customer service.

Matt worked with my schedule. The man he sent out was very nice and pleasant to work with. He did a good job and I was very pleased with the final product. My family and friends all like the color of the deck. I'll keep him in mind in the future and refer him to others.

They did an awesome job! Very professional, clean, and quick. All work was completed in two days. It was very easy communicating with Matt, the owner, throughout the whole process: getting the estimate, deciding on the paint and other details, scheduling, and having the work done. The price was very fair (lowest of three estimates). We got exactly what we wanted without any fuss or problems. I will definitely use them again.

We cannot say enough positive things about MRP Painting. The proprietor, Matt came to our home to provide an initial estimate, taking measurements of the space. He answered our questions, and indicated he would use non-VOC paint if awarded the job because we had a newborn baby. Within a day Matt provided an estimate via email. The estimate included all labor, paint and supplies. We decided to move forward with the job and MRP scheduled the work for the following week, indicating they would be on-site for about 2 days. MRP arrived promptly at 7am on the first day. The work was performed by Matt and another of his painters. From the moment they stepped into my home, they were respectful and friendly. Matt set expectations by letting me know the scope of the work for each day. All affected areas of the space were meticulously draped, taped or otherwise covered to ensure that they would not get paint on them. They also taped the plug outlets, took down the window blinds (which were brand new, as they had just been installed the day before) and removed the glass portions of a ceiling light fixture. I was very impressed by the care that went into protecting my home before a single can of paint was even opened. I was equally impressed by the work that went into prepping the walls and ceiling before painting began. MRP spackled and sanded every knick, dent and nail pop in sight. I could not get over how many surface imperfections they found and took care of. (My home is only 14 years old.) It was cloudy that morning, and once the sun came out later, Matt said he saw a few more that he just couldn't let go, and so he took care of those too. He also offered to caulk one portion of the baseboards where there was a small gap so that the paint job would look clean when it was all done. By the end of the first day, ceilings were painted as well as the wall cut-ins. On the second day, the walls were painted. The no-VOC paint didn't create any strong fumes in my home, and the work was done quietly other than the noise of the ladder being moved occasionally (all good things when you have a young infant at home!). MRP even re-painted the two window sills that I had (sloppily) painted the week prior because Matt felt they needed another coat. An adjacent hallway wall, which was not part of the job, had been inadvertently dinged; Matt offered to touch up that wall for us since we had the paint color on hand. When all work was complete, the space was cleaned up, all trash was removed and the area was thoroughly vacuumed. MRP did not leave my home until we had done a walk-through and found everything acceptable. The following day Matt followed up to make sure we were completely satisfied. We had found a tiny area of the ceiling that we felt needed a small touch-up. Matt gladly came out the following morning and promptly took care of it at a time that was convenient for us. From the estimate through to the final follow-up of the project, MRP was professional, friendly, responsive and meticulous. It is clear that Matt is a perfectionist who takes great pride in his work and insists on absolute client satisfaction. We have done a LOT of work on our home in the last couple years, and MRP is one of the best contractors we have worked with. We would certainly hire them again and would recommend them to anyone looking to have painting done in their home.

Matt responded very quickly to come out and looked at what had to be painted. He e-mailed an estimate the next day, I agreed, and we set up a work date. He can as promised and completed the job as promised. Everything worked out great - the work crew, quality of the work and of course dealing with Matt. The evaluation really says it all.

The job looks great and I'm fussy about the ceiling lines and corners where 2 different colors meet. They cleaned up well and were courteous while here. I've already referred them to a friend!

It took a while to connect with the owner to schedule a visit because of vacations and then I think he forgot about me, but after we connected the appointment was arranged immediately. The man who came to my home was very nice. He lined the area with dropcloth VERY well and then immediately began work. He worked nonstop - and answered all of my questions while he worked. He was very thorough. It was a big job and he gave me the two hours that I paid for and a bit more. He was very helpful on directing me on how to complete the job myself if I wanted to. He was extremely professional and truly knew what he was doing.

Excellent customer service. Matt was very responsive throughout the process. He sent the estimate within a few hours of viewing the house, and the price was reasonable. The entire interior of the house was painted. We needed it completed quickly, and his crew did the work over the holiday weekend. We'll definitely use them again.

Matt was quick to come out and give us an assessment. He took his time to look over the walls and asked questions of us of past wall coverings. He gave us an explanation of how he would tackle the job and gave us a estimate of how long it would take. Within two working days we had our estimate and sealed the deal. Since it was three weeks before the job start Matt was in constant contact via email regarding paint color and finish. He and his crew were here on time, got right to work and had all the paper off in no time. There was a lot of patchwork that needed to be done prior to the painting and the crew had that all done by the end of the first day. Second day was the painting, and we were very, very pleased with the result. His crew kept us informed regarding the sealant odor, and how far they were coming along. They put back every light switch plate and cleaned up and vacuumed the entire area before they left. I can't say enough of the professionalism and the quality of work Matt and his team did. I wish I had more painting jobs for him to do in the house!

Matthew and his crew were timely and professional. I was happy with the service and have already recommended MRP to a neighbor (who also hired them). MRP is neat & tidy, and Matt is willing to go the extra mile (for example, he removed & disposed of an old CD cabinet that was mounted to a wall, and also disposed of a bunch of old paint cans for me at no extra charge). I will hire MRP again for my next painting job.

Very happy with the results. Very professional looking. They smoothed out the walls and ceiling. The ceiling in the kitchen & family room have never looked better, they have always been difficult, we had another leak from the tub above and Paul dried out the area and patched it. We highly recommend MRP Painting. They arrived on time each day, cleaned up afterwards each day and are very conscientious and courteous.

Date and time for estimate and the contracted work were arranged to accommodate my schedule, and their arrival time was punctual. A weekend was arranged for the work to be accomplished, the painters were experienced, meticulous and diligent during the work day. The result at the end of day was flawless, ceiling not painted until spackle dried, even application of paint on surfaces, edges perfect, no ceiling paint on the walls etc. They cleaned up and with the exception of a newly painted room, no one would have known they were their. Matt followed up after the work to be certain everything was acceptable. An excellent interaction with a customer service oriented group

When we called MRP, Matt got back to us quickly and fit a small job at my office in his schedule within 2-3 days. At our home Matt was prompt with an estimate, gave me an approximate start date and started the job on schedule as promised. Matt also suggested we speak with a decorator (no cost) to help me with my paint colors. That was very helpful. Matt and his crew Paul, Matt, and Dave were very professional and work well together. They were always on time, they placed tarps everywhere, and cleaned up any mess they had left each day. The guys even left my dog out in the yard when she would show up at the door they were painting! Above and beyond there duties!!!!! I needed a couple touch ups which were taken care of promptly! No problems or hassle. We will be using MRP for all our painting jobs in the future!

We called Matt for an estimate as we were having a huge graduation party for our daughter and decided almost last minute that we needed some painting done to make our house more presentable. This is the second time we used him. He arrived on time just like before and submitted a competitive proposal. Problem was his schedule was booked out a few weeks and we were in a jam for time. We let him know our time frame and he came three days in a row after work hours to take care of the work!! He was coming from a long days work three days in a row just to make sure he had our stuff done before our party!! We were very pleased as we were the last time we used him. He was professional, polite, and extremely hard working! And, the house looks great. I feel a whole lot better that we were able to squeeze in the painting project before a ton of people came to my house. Thanks Matt!!! We will surely see you again!!

Matt and his crew were very efficient and prompt.Had the entire job completed in (2) days.When finished the house was clean and all furniture was put back in original positions.I would recommend Matt to anyone.
