MRP Painting is excellent. Matt, the business owner, and all of his employees restored my faith in the idea that a job can be done right and done on time. They were punctual, even early, every single day. They were professional and courteous. And when the painting was complete, they did a thorough job of cleaning up. Each time I called Matt to ask him a question, he either answered my call or returned my call within minutes. And when there were a few things that needed touching up after they were finished, either Matt himself or one of his employees was here to do that work the very next morning. His prompt response and genuine concern for the customer is rare in today's world. I can be a tough customer, but I really cannot find a single negative thing to say about MRP Painting. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants painting done right by true professionals.

MRP Painting did a terrific job painting major interior portions of my house. He and his team were punctual, professional, trustworthy, and did excellent, high quality work throughout. Highly recommended.

It went so well. Matt came on time within 2 days of my call to give us an estimate. he was polite, knowledgeable and friendly. His estimate was $800 less than the other estimate we got to accomplish the same thing. the two men he sent to paint came on time for 3 days. they did a meticulous, beautiful job and they were pleasant and accommodating. I made a last minute request for them to remove and patch an old intercom which they did willingly and with a really nice attitude. matt came the first 2 days to see how things were going and called on the third day. the day after the painters finished he came over to collect the payment and make sure we were happy with the job. They were great and we would definitely use them again.

It was a gift for a friend who wound up not wanting it. I had to have it refunded, but I was excited to be working with them at first.

Went really well - great group of guys who were on time very morning, very friendly, and did great work. Matt checked in throughout the project to ensure I was satisfied and promptly took care of any issues I saw.

Matt and his crewq arrived on time (it was snowing!) and started the wallpaper removal. The dinning room and the upstairs bedroom wall were completed the first day. The dinning walls and woodwork were primed and left to dry. Matt and his crew arrived on time the second day (this time there were 3 people. Matt started on the dinning painting and the 2 other people completed the wallpaper removal in the living room. The dinning room ceiling was painted and the first coat of wall paint was on, the woodwork and doors got the first coat of paint. Next the dinninbg room walls got the second coat of paint and the wodwork and doors got their scond coat of paint. The job looks great! Matt and his crew will be back on 01/19/2015 scimcoat the livingroom wall, then prime the walls and 2 coats of paint. All the woodwork will be primed and 2 coats of paint. We were trying to move the furinture around ouir selves and Matt's crew told us they would do it. That was so wonderful. We're looking forward to their return on 01/19/15 to have the living room completed

they were very responsive to my needs. While I don't remember the exact cost of the job is was a good price. The owner/manager was always avaiable via cell phone and the workers were poite and very neat using all materials necessary to make the job clean and professional

MRP painting arrived on time and completed work on or before schedule. When we found three places that we had failed to include in our initial instructions, they were painted at no extra cost.

Excellent. Communication and timelines provided from the owner were accurate and he worked to accommodate our needs. The price for the job was very fair. The team of workers were professional and trustworthy. A very good group. The work was extremely good. I was impressed. I am a perfectionist with a critical eye. I have no complaints. My experience with this group says if I have additional painting work to be done I will call them without hesitation. I trust the work will be done right at a fair price.

MRP Painting provided outstanding service! Matt was prompt to return my initial call for an estimate, came to assess later that week, and emailed me a quote immediately. Professional, courteous, & respectful are only a few of the qualities Matt and his team displayed throughout the project. They arrived early for work, completed the job on time and followed up the next day. We look forward to working with them again in January for an interior painting project.

MRP Painting was wonderful to work with. We wanted our old, outdated kitchen cabinets to go from dark brown to a nice, bright white. Matt responded to my request for an estimate quickly and provided me a quote via pictures I emailed him. He gave me a price range, all of which was within budget for us, but actually ended up coming in on the low end of that range when he sent the contract over with an Angie's List discount. He also stuck to the date and time scheduled and Paul showed up exactly on time each day to paint. The cabinets look fantastic. It took 4 days given the amount of sanding, priming and painting he had to do (the cabinets were not in great shape initially so he had a lot of work to do), but it was worth it. He was careful to remove all of the cabinet doors and took his time reassembling everything. Paul was very nice, cleaned up before he left, and did a walk through with me on the last day to make sure everything was exactly as I wanted it. Matt had stopped by during the project; I missed him but my husband said he was very friendly and really wanted to make sure we were happy with the work they were doing. While Paul was working on the cabinets, we asked him and Matt if they would be able to finish a spot above our stairs that we weren't able to finish painting as we couldn't reach it. Matt agreed and they did it for a small additional price. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and will definitely use these guys again when we need to hire someone to do painting.

The situation was far from ideal. We had a timing problem and where living in the place while the work was being done. Matt and his team were kind, respectful, and extremely professional. The building we live in is strict about when work can be done, laying done floor covering all the way from our elevator to our apartment and the guys were cheerful and working hard the entire time. The day they were working on our bedroom and bath, they really stepped it up because they knew what a relief it would be for us to have an oasis from all the chaos. The color advisor was a great help and we love everything about the job - the paint job, the clean up, how nice everyone was even when I kept asking them to move huge bookcases around and to dump a huge dresser I should not have purchased from the previous owner. They chopped it up and disposed of it - not part of the job and much appreciated. When you arrive one day and the painters arrive the next, there is very little time to organize anything or even secure stuff. Nothing was touched or messed with. Quite honestly, we were sitting ducks and I am so thankful to have a resource like Angie's List with so many raves that I really didn't have to worry about anything going missing. So, we made the best of it and are thrilled with the result.

It went very well. Very professional and the owner was very attentive, checking in with me to ensure I was pleased with the work being performed. The painter was very nice and respectful of our home.

From the first phone call through to completion, Matt was very responsive and concerned with my satisfaction of the job. My ceiling was in very bad shape due to several years of small roof leaks; literally cracked peeling paint. The outside concrete walls were not as bad except for the back yard wall which was awful. The work was originally anticipated to take two days, but did take almost four; due mainly to how bad the situation was once the work was actually started. They were on the job from 8-4 each day. Their commitment to a job well done was greatly appreciated by me. The team of painters were professional, and courteous, kept me apprised of things as small issues arose an the job, and the clean up at the end of the job was complete. When Matt came by to pick up final payment I told him how thrilled I was and could not believe how beautiful things looked inside and out. Looks like new. They should have taken before and after shots for their portfolio to show to future customers curious about their experience or wanting references. Matt and his crew will return to my home in a few weeks to paint my kitchen.

I am a Realtor and very picky about workmanship. This is a rental property and it has a small deck outside the upper apartment with steps leading to the ground level. I had not done anything to the deck in about 8 years and was a little embarrassed about not having done so. He told me that I had gotten to it in time and he thought he could make it look good. He stained that sad looking deck and stairway and made them look almost new. I found hi to be very pleasant and easy to work with and very professional. Since then, I have referred him to two of my clients.

MRP's quality of workmanship was outstanding. Their attention to detail matched my own as I am very reluctant to have contractors in my own home. They helped to restore the wallboard in my parents home to a pristine state which we could paint on. The wallboard was not in good shape and Matt worked with me to develop a fair price where all of the 5 rooms would be skim coated. I am extremely happy with the result and refer him without any reservation. They left the house cleaner than they found it and were very accepting of changes I made while the work was underway.

This company is above and beyond in every way as can be read in all their positive reviews. They showed up on time every day & cleaned up well each day. Their knowledge & attention to detail is impressive. The final outcome looks amazing. I couldn't ask for better.

This was the first time I used Angie's List. Matt returned my email very quickly to set-up a time to meet us and see the deck. He came on that Sunday to check and measure the deck. That night we had an estimate. My husband and I decided to add the entire deck not just part of it. He and his crew were so professional and did wonderful work. Our deck is beautiful! Matt called and emailed that evening to make sure my husband and I were happy with the work. My husband and I will be calling him again to prepare and paint some of the rooms in our house. I would highly recommend his company for all painting needs.

Matt returned my initial call right away. He gave me a quote on paining the interior of my garage (walls, trim, ceiling, doors and stairs). We scheduled the job. His team showed up on time in the morning. They did an excellent job and were done by 3pm. I am very pleased and will definitely hire them again!

Matt and his team of three others repainted the living room, dining room and kitchen in a condo that I recently purchased. The "before" paint job was a muddy milk chocolate color that had been very poorly applied. I couldn't wait to get rid of it! Matt and I discussed the virtues of high-quality paint (I'm a Benjamin Moore fan, but he swung me to Sherwin Williams). He came with a team of four, as they had finished another job early, and were able to do my work in just one day. They were punctual, careful, precise, and professional, and the only thing I can say about the finished project is, "WOW!" I would recommend MRP without hesitation, and have recommended them to my realtor.
