Very professional from estimate to finish. They color matched my existing paint flawlessly. We also changed the color on the shutters and Matt's suggestion was an excellent choice. They worked efficiently and meticulously. I am so relieved to have found this company for my painting needs.

First, I would like to say that Matt was incredibly professional and responsive. The crew was the same. Very good people and cared about the quality of their work. Matt did a great job of fitting in the job even though I know he was very busy. As the job progressed, I needed additional things completed and he was fast to get back to me with pricing and how it might change the completion timing. I will use him again when I am ready to do the few other rooms in the house.

Matt made every part of this process easy for us from the estimate to the final walk through. We had so many questions about the correct way to tackle this job and whether we should leave up some wallpaper from the previous owner as an accent or not. Matt was very understanding about our uncertainties and was extremely helpful with knowledge and ideas. We were also confused about the appropriate colors to match our décor and the wall paper. Matt was extremely helpful to share his expertise, although leaving the final decisions up to us. His team of Tim and Joe were also friendly, courteous and helpful. The final job is sooooooo great! We did leave up some wallpaper as an accent and it looks terrific with the colors we chose. Matt's team also were able to do some small extra work that we hadn't noticed needed to be done, due to the furniture hiding the strange rose colored woodwork in one room, and they did it with no additional charge for that job. The one problem that occurred when some wall paper pulled off a little piece of the adjoining wall paint, Tim was able to come up with a fix that was better than our original plan, with no additional charge. You should see this house now! It looks so great. We are so delighted with Matt and his team. Oh, they cleaned up perfectly and made a final check of all work with us to make sure every inch was to our satisfaction. I would definitely use them again, and I probably will.

Matt came out quickly after I called for a quote. That evening (July 9th) he emailed a complete quote for the two ceilings and another area that I considered having painted. They were tricky jobs that I just didn't want to do myself. I chose to just have the ceilings painted. He scheduled quickly and came out early on July 21st. All work was done that day, and the place looked spotless after it was done. I was very pleased that there were no surprises and the professionals managed everything. We are extremely happy with the quality of their work. We wouldn't hesitate to call them again for future work.

Based on Angie's List ratings and reviews, I contacted MRP Painting for an estimate upon buying a house (built 1994) that required all of its interior to be painted. Matt was immediately responsive to my email and took the time to build a rapport that made me feel comfortable with him. When he came to the house, he quickly took measurements and confirmed the scope of work. He provided a cost estimate by the end of the day. He and my husband also discussed the feasibility of painting the kitchen cabinets, which we ultimately did not do per Matt's advice. Although his estimate was a couple thousand higher than a competitor (who also had excellent ratings and came personally recommended), we chose Matt because he inspired our confidence in his ability to complete the job prior to our move-in date and to do the job well. Matt also put me in touch with the Sherwin Williams color consultant he uses. I already had a color plan in mind, but it was helpful to discuss the color flow with a professional. At no additional cost, the color consultant came to the house and spent about an hour touring the rooms, understanding their intended purpose, and recommending colors. She listened to me and did not push unwanted colors. We ultimately came up with a modern palette that flows beautifully throughout the house. Matt further gave us excellent advice on the paint sheens, making that decision process much easier. We left Matt the key to the empty house in a lock box while we were out of state. He stayed in touch via email and phone, and he sent photographs once the color was on the walls. One might expect such service, but Matt really went above and beyond for us, even when we were not the easiest of customers. For example, I asked him to bring the new garbage cans that were delivered to the curb up into the garage, and he happily did so. I changed my mind about painting the balusters a few days into the job, and he happily modified the scope of work (and did not even charge for that extra work!). When I missed our scheduled time for the final walk-through and final payment, he happily rescheduled for the next day and called that night to find out if I liked the paint job. Was Matt truly "happy" to accommodate this high maintenance customer? One cannot know for sure, but I am certain of my appreciation for his professionalism and excellent customer service. Of course, the quality of the work matches the customer service. The walls look brand new. The edges are perfect. The colors are gorgeous. I keep looking for a mistake but cannot find one. Yes, it was expensive. But totally worth it!

Super. Matt responded to my initial inquiry quickly, was early (!!) for our walk through, turned the estimate arround in an extremely timely fashion and did the work promised very professionally. He and his crew maintained very high standards of preparation, execution and clean up. They were painting my mother's home and she is crazy clean. the MRP guys went above and beyond to keep theiir work space organized and tidy. They cleaned up so well at the end of every day, they could have a second career as housekeepers. The gents were very social, respectful and did a gorgeous job. They went above and beyond dealling with an unwelcome and unexpected ceiling leak, cleaning and bagging the smelly, moldy debris. We could not have been more pleased and I can recommend them without reservation.

This is our second time using MRP painting. Gives the most reasonable rates and the highest quality job. Matt came back again and again to make sure every single wall and color was exactly how we wanted it, responded within 5 minutes of all of our communications, was always punctual. His team were professional and friendly and put all the paintings and furniture back exactly as they found them and no damage to anything else. Will use Matt without hesitation again and already have him lined up for future work (painting our ceiling and other miscellaneous items)

Matt and his crew were super accommodating to a busy construction schedule and mess at our home. I really appreciated their flexibility and willingness to work around a difficult work zone. They were very easy to schedule with and the work was completed quickly. We have used MRP for several interior and exterior jobs and the work is always high quality. I highly recommend them!

Matt was extremely prompt in returning phone call for estimates, scheduling and providing updates. He worked with his team to deliver great service. The front door had been a lighter color which was now being painted black. Although he anticipated two coats they applied a third coat since they were not being satisfied. Matt and his team were all professional, cordial leaving the site clean with the goal to have a satisfied customer. We will definitely call Matt for future painting projects and highly recommend.

Matt and the MRP crew performed an exceptional job focusing on the highest quality of work! They were friendly, professional and meticulous. All communication (ie email, phone and text) with Matt was fast, efficient and complete. The day of painting, MRP was prompt and arrived as stated. I would highly recommend MRP paiting. I had cracks in my ceiling in my living room right under my bathroom. I had contacted Matt to come out to evaulate and to quote a price. He responded immediately and came out the next day for an estimate. The original estimate was to repair the cracks and re-paint the ceiling ($330). The service was scheduled the next day. His brother Ken showed up exaclty at 8 am to get started. He did further evaluate the cracks and noted he felt some moisture. He advised it would be best to have a plumber evaluate before he completes the job. I truly appreciated the honesty as he could have completed the work which would have had to be done again at a later time as the plumber found I had two leaky pipes. The plumber had to cut out a good size pice of my ceiling to access the pipes to repair. I had called Matt back to let him know what had been repaired and now I needed to have the piece of the ceiling replaced and re-painted. The price did change ($500) but I did expect that. He had actually offered to complete the work the next day (I was not available). We were able to work together to establish a good day and time to complete. The work was completed to perfection and I was quite happy with the work. I would definitely use them again in the future!

Great job. We would highly recommend. The bid was the lowest of 3. Matt communicated through e-mail and telephone regularly as we endured rain delays. He was very professional in his communications and in recommending the best painting days to avoid the potential for wet surfaces and rain. The work quality was exceptional. Matt and his crew showed up on time, were courteous and professional, and cleaned the work area at the end of the day. We're very pleased with their work.

Contacted Matt at the end on March for a quote. He responded within a few hours of my request. He came out for an assessment of the work and was the lowest bid. We scheduled work to start 4/29/2015, but was able to start sooner. I asked if the bedroom wall could be down sooner so I could get started with moving one of my children into the room, which was the first item done. His guys were on time, started at 7 AM and was all parked and ready to go at 6:50 AM. They moved all the furniture and put tarps over everything. They even re-anchored my blinds for me after they were painting. The work was suppose to take three days but Matt's workers stayed late on day 2 (4 hours afterwards) to finish all the work. They finished with touch ups and clean of the area's worked. The day after, I received a call by Matt to ensure that everything is good and that if I noticed any issues to immediately contact him.

Whole job went very well and was on target with time estimate given by Matt. The porch floor was in poor shape and Matt advised me to put a special restorative coating prior to finishing painting it. This was not a surprise to me and I was pleased that he realized that the floor would need some extra care. They always cleaned up, were very courteous and friendly. I am thinking of having them do more work for me.

MRP Painting was definitely worth the extra coin . . . not the lowest bid I got, but I am soooo glad I hired them. My mom used to say that "you get what you pay for" . . . and in this instance, she was absolutely correct. If you're looking for cheap, go elsewhere. If you want it done right and on time by a terrific crew of professionals who meet deadlines, are fully insured (both liability and workers comp), listen to their clients and communicate effectively in English, this is the firm for you. I know this sounds crazy, but I genuinely enjoyed dealing with MRP and having the crew in my newly-purchased home. They knew their stuff, and they were fun. What hard workers, too! They were always punctual. Their work days started shortly before 7:00 a.m. and generally ended between 3:15 and 3:30, with no break. Lunch waited until they were finished for the day. Special thanks to Matt and Ken, brothers who lead the firm. My place now looks clean and crisp and updated thanks to their efforts. In the course of the project, they did the following: Painted all interior walls and trim, including closets and garage (my place has spindles on the staircase, lots of interior detail, etc.) Took down and re-hung formal draperies At my request, replaced light bulbs in ceiling high-hat fixtures (I provided the bulbs) Patched, spackled, etc. Miscellaneous little courtesies as needed Definitely recommended.

We had contacted several painters and Matt responded to our email the soonest. We appreciated how responsive he is on email, whether following up or giving quotes or setting up times. Being very busy, we don't have time to actually take phone calls and so email communication was very helpful. Matt was very punctual, professional and personable when we met him for our consultation. His crew did an amazing job on the paint job, which only took 1 day. We literally just emailed him a swatch of the color we wanted and they did the rest, including providing the paint. We had considered painting ourselves but now we will probably rely on Matt and his crew for all our future painting needs.

Matt, and his workers are the greatest people I've worked with in a long time. Matt always got back to us promptly, and answered any concerns we had. He has an excellent eye for color, and helped me choose between several different grays I had picked out. I never had to clean up after them, and the job was finished in just a few days. I was not feeling well for a couple of the days they were at our house, and the guys were quiet and considerate. Matt came back to do any touch ups that were needed, but believe me, there were not very many. MRP Painting did an absolutely outstanding job, and we still love to look at the new color at all different times of the day. What a joy it was to work with them!!

The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. I found this company on Angie's list and called Matt based on the reviews. The process happened almost exactly as the reviews described.. Matt was flexible and we met at my home based on a time that was convenient for me. He measured and gave me a very reasonable estimate and then followed up with a written contract by e-mail. The work was then completed the following week by two men in two days! Paul's work was very neat and professional. The carpeting was covered with plastic and taped down, window treatments were taken down and replaced when work was completed. Having work done in your house can be disruptive and messy, but this was quick and painless and the results were fantastic. The 3rd floor has been transformed and I will definitely use this company again.

The quality of the work was fantastic on all levels. We are so happy in our new house with our beautifully paitined bedrooms. When a few spots needed to be painted because of pulling up the old carpet, Matt came and touched up the work within a day or two. and the touch up work on the old house made me wonder why I hadn't had the work done earlier! As for dealing with Matt, he was always extremely responsive and fair. The quotes were provided before the work was done so that nothing was left to surprise. Overall, our two experiences in February were fantastic and we have recommended MRP Painting to family and friends. And when we decide to have more work done in our new house, we will be calling Matt up to do the work.

It went wonderfully! Matt, Paul, and Danny did amazing work in an equally amazing amount of time. They were punctual, professional, pleasant and did a great job. Matt was very helpful in coordinating additional work done on the home with other providers. Thorough, meticulous, clean ,polite. I honestly can't say enough good things.

Matt,the owner, came to our home to give us a free estimate. He was very professional, he even put shoe covers on his feet before coming into our home. Unlike the other estimates we received, Matt measured each room and then took the time to discuss the details of the project, which included the start date and estimated number of days needed. We than received his written est. the next day via email. On the start date, Two of Matt.s workers showed up promptly at our agreed time of 8am. It took them a total of four days to complete the job. During the process, Matt checked in with me to see how things were going. At one point, we had some concerns with the painting in the laundry room and Matt's main worker, Paul, took the time to review the work of the other painter and then he personally, made the necessary corrections. Paul was great, he was very professional and cleaned up fully after the job was complete. The two rooms look great! I will use Matt again for the others rooms in our home that need to be painted. I highly recommend him!

It was excellent. In fact, I recommended them to another friend of mine. I recommended their high quality work. They're extremely dependable. They have strong focus on customer satisfaction. It's a good value. They're very pleasant and professional. In every category, they were excellent. For the quality of the job that they did, it was very competitive and having said that, I probably could have gotten cheaper prices out there. For me and what I was willing to pay, I was very happy with them.

The bath has a cathedral ceiling and skylight. The old paint had become flaky and was peeling off the wall in places due to moisture damage The process that Matt recommended completely smoothed out all the surfaces and provided a sealed base to prevent further problems with the paint. Dan's work was excellent. Matt kept in touch to make sure that we were satisfied as the work progressed. We would use MPR again.
