I called Goodman plumbing after researching plumbers in our area on Angies list . After reading most of the reviews and comments from satisfied customers I sent them an email from Angies list at 5am on Wednesday (11/21/12). Goodman Plumbers was quick to respond. I received a call before 8:30am the same day - pretty impressive. I called and scheduled an appointment for Friday (11/23). Dwain arrived on time and was very professional and courteous.. He explained everything in a concise manner and provided a fair estimate. We scheduled to have the toilet installed on Tuesday morning (11/27). Once again Dwain arrived on time installed the new toilet. I want to thank Dwain for the time he took to explain everything to me and for installing two brackets on the pipes on our utility tub. We are completely satisfied with the work Goodman Plumbers (Dwain) performed and will definitely be using them in the future and telling all our family and friends.

We noticed our hot water heater had stopped working. Upon inspection, we saw and heard a small leak and noted the pilot light was out. We called Goodman plumbing based on reviews on Angie's List. Their plumber called back within 2 hours telling me they were on the way to our house. Once here, the plumber showed me the leak in more detail and explained that once water is leaking out of the pan it means there are internal problems and it isn't price effective to try and repair an old heater. He called in to the main office and came back with a reasonable price. Plus I had a $50 off Angie's List coupon which helped. The work was done within 2 hours... just when the plumber said it would be. Ah! Hot water! They met and exceeded my expectations.

Our shower pressure began dwindling significantly - to the point where no water was coming out of the old-style faucet (much less the showerhead). We previously had three other plumbers out to evaluate with three different diagnoses. Our fourth plumber, Goodman, came out promptly, presented us with straight-forward analysis and pricing, and completed their portion of the work punctually. They coordinated the re-tiling of the shower where the access had been created. Overall a very positive experience.

They are always courteous and on time. They call about five minutes out and let you know when they are on their way. The leak was a little hard to find, and he came back to fix it when he needed to. They are always so nice, and let you know how much it will cost before they do anything. If something doesn't get fixed they will always come back.

They were great. They are efficient, and I have even recommended them to my mother. They are who I go to when I need any plumbing work.

He was a marvelous man and did an excellent job.

Technician arrived when stated. A previous contractor replaced the water heater with a taller heater so the flue pipe did not fit properly. Duane from Goodman explained that it was not installed correctly causing carbon monoxide to escape. He turned off the gas temporarily and told me he would try to come back later that day to finish the job, since he was only scheduled to give us an estimate and did not know if he had time to return that day or the next. He returned the same day and repaired and reconnected the pipe. He was very professional and we were grateful that he was able to fix this potentially dangerous problem so quickly.

Everything was great. They came a few hours after I called, waited patiently for me to come home from lunch, cleaned the drain, and checked out the rest of the house. Good price, good service, and a plumber I didn't have to wait a month for :)

Overall, my experience was very positive.

We noticed a small puddle of water under our water heater late Friday. Called plumbing companies that took calls at night. One (big name) company showed up the next morning. Their estimate was $1600! I almost laughed. Said I could do without hot water for a few days and would shop around. He called me back and offered to install a water heater, expansion tank and a check valve (their price $450) for the $1600. This was the weekend of the big hurricane in the Northeast, so many plumbers were trying to take advantage of that. The explanation for the $1600 estimate was that if they weren?t so busy they would have worked with me. Goodman returned the call from night before. Spoke to a technician and he gave me a price over the phone, $865 plus $170 for expansion tank. I thought that was a fair price. I also called Home Depot and price was about the same. Goodman came out the next morning and installed the new water heater (Bradford White, 40 gal, gas) and expansion tank. It took about 2 ½ hours. They were very professional and did a nice job. I also spoke to them about the check valve because of a minor issue with water pressure. They said, and I agreed, that the problem could be the pressure regulator ($300 installed), but the expansion tank would probably take care of the problem, so I should wait. I would definitely recommend Goodman if you are in the Philadelphia/Suburbs area.

They were at my house in less than one hour. The repair took a while but, that was fine. They did the job neatly and the men that came out were so nice. They were out doing repairs during the high winds and heavy rains. I know that I can always depend on them in an emergency and that is most important to the safety of me and my family!!

The tech was very pleasant and was not a high pressure sales guy, I decided on the furnace myself. Once the decision was made, it was not problem to get it done quickly. They came in did the work quickly and guys were very professional and friendly. The next morning, I got a phone call from the tech that installed the furnace. He told me that he was thinking about the install and realized he made a mistake. I said someone could come and fix it. Sure enough about 4 hours later, a new crew came and fixed the issue. The only issue I have is the waiver to cancel the job. They required a deposit and I had to sign a waiver that said I could not cancel the job. This was necessary because state law allows people to cancel. If I would have decided the next day that I couldn't really afford it, I would not have been able to do anything about. I was very satisfied with the work and would recommend them.

The guy showed up within a few hours. He was very pleasant and completed the work very quickly. He noticed while he was here that a problem with my water heater expansion tank and fixed it. I also asked him to take a look at another problem and he was able to give his expert opinion on how to resolve the issue. I am very please with the level of service. In fact, I called them back to do more work.

I've called Goodman in the past and had excellent service every time. The plumber came within a few hours which I was surprised considering the weather we've had. The plumber cleared my drain with no problem and within a short amount of time. I've had a different plumber each time and they all seem experienced and awesome at their jobs. And I love that they offer coupons. Once again they gave me excellent service!!! I wouldn't use any other plumbing company!!!!

Requested an estimate for some plumbing work in the house and no one ever contacted us. Very disappointed

I noticed a leak under my kitchen sink at 10 am on Sunday .Called Goodman Plumbing and got a call back within 10 minutes . Stan told me he would be over around 10:45 . He showed up at 10:30 . replaced my trap and some valves . Highly recommend the Plumbing co

I just joined today and was looking for an emergency plumber to service my sump pump because we are expecting a big storm with alot of rain. I called their office at 8:am and immediately one of their service team called me and said he was on his way. The plumber Dwain showed up at around 9:am checked my old sump pump and told me it needed to be replaced. Dwain had a new sump pump on his truck and installed it. Dwain was very knowledgable and mentioned that I should install a backup unit incase I ever loose electrical power. I'm going to have that done very soon. The whole experience was great from start to finish. I would recommend them to everyone.

The plumber was timely, very professional and helpful, but it was determined the leak from the 1st floor ceiling was probably related to the roof or caused by deterioration in the brick on the side of the house. I really appreciated the time he took to check the roof overhang from the second floor window and to point out the deteriorating bricks. I learned a little that day. I was so impressed with his consideration and expertise, I would not hesitate to contact the company if we ever had a real plumbing problem.

The plumber called early, arrived and got right to work. He was professional, confident and friendly. The job was completed in a couple of hours, he cleaned up, gratiously took payment and left.

Un clogged drain in basin of my bath very efficient.

They were very fast to respond, their estimate was lower than others, they were friendly professional, and worked quickly.

Plumber put us in his schedule quickly. He was punctual & performed the work well. He lacked a little professionalism with the trainee he had helping him that day (lacked patience with him which was not the proper way to act in front of a customer). They were very expensive since this price was the labor only.

I called for an estimate for a water line for a refrigerator and to fix a leaking tub faucet. The person on the phone was very polite and scheduled for the next day or so. The gentleman who came to my home, Bill, was respectful and explained what would need to be done. He answered all of my questions patiently. He gave an estimate and said he was ready to begin work immediately if I would like to move forward. I agreed. The water line was easily installed. When he got to the tub, he explained that due to the age and type of faucet the job might be more extensive and more expensive. He gave me the choice to move forward or quit. He said he would give me the choice again once he could tell how he would have to proceed. It turns out he was able to go ahead with the LESS expensive repair.

I have had a problem with our plumbing since we bought the house four years ago. We have had three plumbers in, clean the drains, tell us it was cleared out and a while later have the same problem. Two weekends ago we backed up again into our house. At this point I knew I needed a plumber to come in and fix the problem once and for all. Goodmans came out, found the actual problem, fixed it and were done in two days. This was a big job and they had to do a lot of digging to find the piping. For what Goodmans had to do to fix our problem was well worth what they charged. I would recommend Goodmans to anyone.
