I can't tell you how very pleased I am with the service. Jim and Mike came when they said they would found out what was wrong and did a wonderful job fixing the problem. They were kind and polite, cleaned up after themselves, There were a couple other problems found when they started the job but they made sure we saw what the problem was and explained all the option, not pushing for us to get more service if we didn't really need it. My husband and I were very happy with the service. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy. I would happily recommend Goodman to anyone who needed plumbing service

The snaking worked! It completely cleared the blockage and I saved almost $3000 from needing to replace the curb trap. They were the only plumber who even tried to exhaust other possibilities. They took the time to explain all of the possible scenarios. I absolutely appreciated their honesty and their efforts to try to save me the headache and cost of a curb trap replacement. I will be using them again in the future.

Goodman was excellent. We had a blocked sewer exit pipe that simply could not be snaked or sawed or grinded clear (we had two different companies try three times). We collected two bids and had others pending when the exit pipe more or less stopped draining completely. Goodman rushed in a third bid, which was a little higher than the other two for the "full job." But Goodman took the time to really address every question we had (we had a ton of questions), and they offered us various options to address the problem, some of which would have saved us a good deal of money. The other two bids we got were from companies (good ones) that said "full job or nothing." Goodman also explained exactly what they would do under each possible option and how we would be charged so that everything was on the table. We planned to take one of the cheaper options, but asked Goodman to put their camera down the pipe and go over the video with us before we decided. As we did so, we found another possible problem area in the pipe no one had seen in a previous camera viewing. Goodman did not try to force us to do the whole job, Stan the estimator just talked through what the possible problem could mean without any pressure. We decided to do the full job for 100% peace of mind. Goodman gave us a discount on the price for the full job, which put their price closer to the lower bid we got. It wasn't a huge discount but it helped. The work went well. George from Goodman led the team, which included the excavator and two helpers as well as another Goodman employee. They took their time on what turned out to be a slower and more complex job (for example, our basement floor slab turned out to be more than 12" thick which no one expected). They ended up having to replace the water main into our home as well, as it was originally placed in the same trench as the sewer exit, but they dealt with that well. Goodman finished out the work and cleaned up everything very professionally. The front of our lot was pretty much torn up completely -- sewer pipe was down 8' and pitch of slope in that area was high -- but they and other bidders had warned us of this up front. At the end, George went over the whole job with us, and then Stan stopped by that night to address any other questions we had. This is an awful job to have to get done. It's stressful, frustrating, and very expensive. Goodman was calm, reliable, honest, responsive, reasonable, and did excellent work -- exactly the kind of service you want in such a situation. Particular thanks to Stan, our estimator, who was more or less continually in touch with us, was highly knowledgeable, and was very patient and thorough with all our questions.

Frozen water was in my outside faucet, however, since my pipe didn't expand, the plumber said let the ice melt on its own. This is a honest company. As soon as the weather breaks I have a few plumbing jobs that need to be done.

The repair man came out shortly after my husband called. Of course it was on the weekend. He was very professional and courteous. He was able to get the drain cleared in a very short time. We were surprised at the cost of the job, especially since it was on the weekend. We will definitely call them for any plumbing jobs we have in the future.

They do a great job. They come within 24 hours. This time they came on a Sunday and did not charge anything extra for working on the weekend. They seem to be doing a good job on this job as well!

Called to schedule an appointment and they were able to come out the same day. They called ahead as I requested so that I had time to leave work and meet them at my house. Mike accessed the main drain from the sidewalk and cleaned both ways using a machine.

I detected a small gas leak in the line to my stove. Upon investigation (with soapy solution), I found that I had not one, but 7 small leaks in the gas lines that supply the appliances in our home. The pipes are probably original to the house and it was apparent that attempting to fix the leaks would probably cause other problems and leaks further down the lines. I called four companies to come out and assess the work and provide estimates. Three of the estimates were similar in price $1500 - $1700. One of the estimates was out of range ($2700). I decided to use Jim at Goodman Plumbing because he personally provided the estimate and would also be the individual who would perform the work. (One of the other companies sent out a person to do the estimate work, but another individual would be performing the actual plumbing work. That did not make me comfortable.) Jim provided me with a written estimate before leaving my home that day. Jim, although not chatty, was personable, professional, experienced, and took the time to "walk me through" the exact plan for replacing the gas lines. He answered all of my questions and was matter of fact in his knowledge of the problem and how to complete the work. The office staff at Goodman was extremely professional, prompt in addressing my call, and right on target in terms of appointment timing and arrival time of the plumbers. Jim and his assistant completed the work in a day, exactly as specified in the estimate. In addition to replacing the gas lines, Jim noticed a problem with the water lines running into and out of our water heater. He replaced the lines with new copper pipe (which was included in the original estimate). The plumbers cleaned up the basement after completing a very professionally executed job. All of the work is guaranteed for 2 years. I was so satisfied with my overall experience with Goodman that I called the following day to have someone come out to take a look at (and clear a clog) in our rainwater collection pipe. We had been dealing with this clog for quite some time by using a rain barrel and dumping it as it filled during storms. I was nervous that we would not be able to afford another plumbing repair, so the rain barrel fix has seen us through for a few months now (but was not a long term fix as the barrel was filling up and spilling over during heavy storms). Mike, from Goodman, came out to assess the issue with our rain water pipe. He was friendly, professional, and quick to respond. The clog was cleared in a matter of minutes. The work is guaranteed for 30 days, and I was able to use a coupon from Goodman's website to offset some of the cost. As Mike was leaving today, I told him I was so happy with the service that I was going immediately to write a review for Angie's List. I highly recommend Goodman, and I will continue to use them for any plumbing related repairs or maintenance for our home in the future.

it begain with a small leak and a plugged drain. Keep in mind, this is a 100 yeqr old house. It was more than a plugged drain. The drain was composed of lead and had collapsed. As the drains were under a cement floor with the tile embedded in it. It all had to be removed.This included all the drains from the tub, sink, and jon. Jim started on it immediately and he and his men worked for five. full continuous days to complete the work. They did an excellent job. The new jon and floor are great and the bathroom is gleeming. Thank you folks for a well done job.

The crew was very professional. This was a difficult and extensive job lasting two days. They treated my property with great respect and care. The damaged pipes could only be accessed by cutting through certain walls in my basement. They minimized the damage to my property and were extremely clean. I would highly recommend Goodman Plumbing.

From beginning to end, this company was absolutely professional. My email request for an appointment was responded to immediately and a appointment was set on a follow up call. Maurizio who provided the estimate was on time, pleasant and very knowledgable. Maurizio was understanding of my need to keep costs down and was willing to preform the job I requested with our pressuring me for him to take on the jobs I was going to handle myself. A very competitive estimate was given on the spot and ended up being the amount I paid. A two member crew (I think sub-contractors) showed up on the agreed date with all the materials they needed to get the job done within one day, which was less then estimated two days. The qualified of work was excellent and everything that they agreed to handle was completed. I was pleasantly surprised upon returning home that the work area was cleaned up and all the old tile removed, not something I had asked for but was completed for me, very nice! I have a couple other jobs that I will do as the budget allows and I will certainly hire this company for all my plumbing and heating needs. I also have a couple friends who are looking for a good plumbing and heating business for which I will certainly recommend Goodman!

My husband called last week for an estimate and they came out the next day. We were able to get the work done within a week. They were just great to work with! They worked very hard all day, were efficient and had a good pricing.

They cleaned the 4" sewer line from outside and from the inside toilet closest to the exit. It was this first floor toilet where waste flooded the floor.

The technicians were extremely courteous and professional. We were quoted a fair price without the technicians trying to sell us services that we did not need. The only negative I have is that it took the technicians a long time to get to my house. However that is the only negative and I would definitely use them again.

Great from first visit and talking with the estimator through the two and a half days of work. Great employees, nice oversight of work, saw them go back and make some corrections, they then told me what they found and why the person in charge, wanted it done his way (the right way). It was something minor but it was clearly the person in charge's work ethic of doing the job right that kept the employees working on quality during the project. They listened to my suggestions and addressed them, they offered alternatives and allowed me choices when decisions were made about the placement, height and type of vents. They cleaned up and raked the entire area. Very, very positive experience.

I called Goodman on Monday morning and they were very responsive and came to my house (for the first time) that afternoon. The man (Bill) who came out proclaimed that he could "fix anything". Long story short, the job was way more complicated than either of us initially thought, and in the end, he was there for two and a half hours but wasn't able to fix it. Goodman then sent their "pipe guy" (Shane) over a few hours later. He also spent two and a half hours but wasn't able to get to the bottom of the problem. The next morning, they sent the "drain guy" (Mike, I think) over, and he had a heavy duty machine and was able to finally fix the problem. It took two days and three guys, but bottom line, they got the job done. Every person that Goodman sent over was very nice, courteous, and professional. They all tried very hard to help us, and they all took pride in their work. I found myself apologizing to the first two guys because they were genuinely disappointed that they couldn't help me. We have a couple of other small (I think...I hope!) plumbing issues, and I will definitely use Goodman to fix them.

I called Goodman because we woke up to find our shower pipes had sprung a leak overnight and was leaking through to our living room below, leaving a huge water damage area in my ceiling. We shut off the water and made an appointment for the next morning. I was not present, my husband was, but I spoke to Dwain by phone about his assessment and my choices. He was very thorough and professional and did not pressure me toward the more expensive fix at all, which I appreciated. He also inspected a small leak under my sink for me, fixed it and installed a new faucet and sprayer ( gave me the option to purchase my own hardware). Both Dwain and the office staff were friendly and organized. Parts were ordered and available within 24 hours (meanwhile he installed valves on the shower so that we could have water in the rest of the house while we awaited the arrival of the new parts. Dwain came on time as promised, and called ahead to say he was on his way. Both my husband and I are very pleased with our choice of Goodman Plumbing. The $50 coupon from Angie's List helped!

They workmen were fantastic they were on time, courteous and professional. They answered all my questions most informatively. I was pleased with the cost considering the amount of work they had to do! I would certainly use them again, and highly recommend!
