Everything went extremely well. We had a flood in our basement at 11:30pm. We panicked but found Goodman Plumbing listed in our Angie's List book and called. Stan called back within a few minutes and walked me through the steps to turn off the water since it appeared that the flooding was coming into the basement from a toilet that was running in an adjoining bathroom. Since I know nothing about this he had me take a picture of our pipes and send it as a text attachment. He then helped me figure out which pipes and which turn off valve to turn. . He then came to our house the following morning to investigate and fix the problem. He was prompt, explained everything clearly and fixed the problems. I highly recommend this company!

We contacted Goodman Plumbing after we discovered water cascading through the laundry room ceiling as the bathtub upstairs drained. They came out the next day to survey the situation and concluded that the 60 year old cast iron drain pipes were cracked. Duane provided an estimate of $4800 to remove the tile floor and replace all of the drain lines in that bathroom. Goodman has their own tile installer, so the estimate included the cost of tile and installation. We asked if we could select our own tile, and they had no problem with it, sending us to their tile supplier, saying that the cost of the tile would be included in the cost, though it could be higher if the tile was more expensive and/or the installation required more labor. We selected the tile, got on the schedule and they showed up at the agreed upon time to start work. Once they started, they discovered that one of the two 60 year old cast iron sinks in the bathroom, which we were hoping to retain, as cracked, and they warned us that they could not guarantee that when they swapped out the drain lines, the sink would not break. They advised us to consider replacing the sinks, though they would do their best to preserve them. We selected new sinks just in case, but as they were removing the drain line from the cracked sink, it broke. We agreed that they would remove the 60 year old custom sink stand and replace both sinks, and went to the bathroom supply to order the new basins, stands and hardware. They skillfully removed the custom piece, preserving the tile underneath, save where the nails penetrated the tile. When they removed the tile floor, they preserved the tile wall right down to the border. As they got into the floor, the cast iron drain line to which the toilet and all of the other drain lines was connected was also crumbling, and had to be replaced. As they discovered each new curveball, they were clear that there would be additional cost for parts and labor involved (e.g. removal of sinks, removal of crumbling drain line, installation of new cast iron drain line, installation of new sinks--as well as the cost of the new basins, stands and hardware). From a timing standpoint, the entire job took 5 days: Day 1: Triage, removal of tile floor and survey of pipes. Day 2: Removal of custom sink support and sinks, removal of old drain lines, installation of new cast iron and PVC drain pipes. Day 3: Replacement and securing of subfloor to studs; installation of new tile floor (beautifully done...Brian does outstanding work) and patching of holes in tile from previous sink stand. Day 4: Curing of tile and grout. Day 5: Installation of new sinks and toilet. The plumbers (Bill and Chris) were excellent. They were on time, professional, courteous and did clean work. They removed all old fixtures and pipes, as well as old tiles. They worked hard and didn't waste time. As said above, Brian, the tile contractor was great. All told the entire job (initial estimate, additional work due to plumbing curveballs and new fixture installations, and new fixtures was $9800, of which, $3200 or so was for the new fixtures). I will admit to sticker shock, but until they got into the floor, there was no telling what they would find. In the end, we got almost a completely new bathroom, preserving the 60 year old tub and wall tile with its decorative accents that we really like and wanted to keep. I highly recommend Goodman for any job. They demonstrated they they could more than handle what amounted to a full bathroom remodel.

A clogged sewer is no fun especially at the weekend. We called them after a recommendation from our neighbors. They replied in a speedy fashion and called shortly before they came to the house about 2hrs later. They analyzed the problem gave me an estimate and freed the pipe. The price was not exactly cheap but it was an emergency call on the weekend- being able to use the bathroom again was priceless!

It went very well. I placed a call to Goodman Plumbing @ approx. 7:30 am. The plumber arrived @ about 10:30 and had my drain cleared in less than 30 mins.The plumber was very friendly,prompt and professional. I would definitely use them again and would reccommend their services! "Happy Camper:)"

Major water leak/flood in basement discovered Saturday night. Called Sunday morning. Received prompt return call from Stan. Got to house within the hour. Identified source of leak. Provided estimate for replacement. Then replaced water heater. Stan and Jessie were both great. Nice, polite, respectful. Stan patiently answered all my questions and explained everything. And they left my basement cleaner than when they started!! I will definitely use Goodman again if I have the need.

The guys came out exactly when they said they would and had my new waterheater installed in less than 2 hours. They were extremely friendly and answered all of my questions. I would absolutely reccomend them to friends and family.

I was quite pleased. I really liked them. They kept me involved with what was going on. The work was professional and quick. I knew it was an expensive project. They put a camera in the pipes and they couldn't see that far so the problem was more extensive than they thought originally. They kind of cleared up the mess and were able to probe farther. I met with the person in charge and he showed me what was going on and explained to me. He didn't just say that they had to do something. Of course it ended up doubling in price but it still wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. They were reasonably priced. My basement has a big scar on the floor but that was unavoidable. They did it quickly and they cleaned up after themselves.

They came to my place at their promised time frame. They called 30 minutes before while they were on the way and keep me updated whereabouts. I really appreciate that. While they checked out the place, John explained to me what might be happened . Because of the unique situation of my house, they could not find the vent from outside (someone concealed with cement), John told me up front that they may or may not be able to clear the blockage, very honest! In addition, be told that if they can clear it, will charge for 125, if not, half of it. Luckily, they able to clear the blockage, thank god! They did it very quick, professional, and being very considerate to keep my place as clean as possible. Thanks John and your colleague! I have used Goodman Plumbing before for some drain cleaning & heater inspections. They are always very professional and services are performed at decent rate. I contacted them to quote installing a water line for a refrigerator. They would've needed to drill straight thru a floor (wooden subfloor with vinyl tile) and run approx. 8-10ft of line. We have an open basement, so easy access pipes. They quoted $325 to install the line and a shut off valve. Unfortunately, that quote was just too high for that service, so I ended up installing myself. I still recommend and use Goodman Plumbing, but this quote was a shock to me.

These gentleman were very efficient. I am delighted with the plumber, as he arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He worked steadily. He did not want to take a break when I asked, politely. They were neat and clean in their work. They were very knowledgeable and let me know everything they were doing and why they were doing it. The bill was actually legible. I now have a plumber that I will be contacting for any future work I need done! I would recommend their services and actually have recommended them to a friend already!

Came on time and unclogged the drain. It was an outdoor patio drain and they took care of it promptly.

Everything went smoothly, there were two representatives, they worked good together. Old existing cement tub was broken up and removed from the premises. Because of multi entries in and out of my home, a cloth runner was placed from the front door to the entrance to the basement to minimize dirt and outside debris. The reps were courteous, and quiet. At end of repairs, they inquired if the work was satisfactory, and if there was any other concerns or questions, to be sure to contact them. (They had a good sense of humor; which is needed with 2 small grand-boys running and looking into everything)

,Goodman's called me back and his price was cheaper than two other plumbers, he said he could do it the next day and he took payment with my Visa card. How simple, my problem was gone. And, by the way, the water heater was installed the next day and everything was cleaned up. I will use Goodman with any future plumbing projects.

came into the house look over the problem and recommended the right repair and replacement parts when went out out and had to dig up my lawn to replace the pipe. After that I was how long it would take to dig my lawn and when I could my water again. Put in new a new toilet after the pipe was fixed at the price quoted with Angie discount.

The plumber came to my house and wanted to look at the problem that needed to be fixed and got started right away. He went to his truck to get his equipment to start the work, (he had to snake the toilet line). Before I could bat an eye he pulled out the toy that was flushed down the toilet that was blocking the pipes and the job was done and the toilet was operated normal again. The plumber was very friendly and patient. I would recommend this company to my friends and neighbors.

Goodman was very quick and responsive to send someone out to survey the jobsite and was the only contractor I reached out to provide a well written and complete estimate; leaving no part out of the job. Job went well and they made sure to cordon the area off and clean up to best extent possible. Best price overall and made a pretty big job as painless as possible; best price, good service, and done in 1 day too!

I called Goodman with concerns over the leak, and was scheduled for an appointment during a 4 hour window the next day. The plumber called as he was finishing his prior job, giving me time to get from work to the house. He arrived at the time he said he would, was very friendly and polite, and quickly diagnosed that the leak was due to a poor seal around the 2nd floor shower knobs and base of the tub, all of which needed to be re-caulked. He said he would be happy to do it, but that it was such an easy job that I could likely do it myself. I decided to do it myself, and he left without even charging a fee for his time (which I fully expected and was willing to pay)! The re-caulking was easy, the leak is fixed, and Goodman's professionalism and honesty have earned them a call next time I have any issues.

I called Thursday evening and bright and early on Friday morning the guys were here to give an estimate. They returned 2 hours later to replace the water heater

Goodman plumbing was responsive to my concerns professional and courteous they gave me a three day estimate but were done in two days they knew their stuff and I was happy with the completed job

I have used Goodman before and once again they do not disappoint. While the appointment window is 4 hours, they tend to arrive early in the window. Maurice (the tech) was extremely professional and courteous. These guys are good. I consider Goodman my plumbing company.
