I have used Goodman Plumbing before to fix the bathroom toilet and upstairs clogged tub. Now my hot water tank went so I called on Friday night and the plumber talked me through on how to shut off the hot water tank water and the pilot. He said that he would be there first thing in the morning and he arrived before 9 AM. Very friendly, helpful, and gave me the price before the work was done. I forgot that I have an Angies List coupon so I will give them a call. They are always so wonderful to work with that I do not suspect that there will be a problem getting this money returned.

Came out and checked sewer line w/camera (priced more fairly than other providers). Completed work as explained. Returned with camera to recheck (no added charge). Found another issue and priced as if they were doing the entire job at one time. Returned for second half of job in a timely manner and fully corrected the issue.

The plumbers showed up even though the weather was not so pleasant. They were respectful of my home to include taking their shoes off as to not track snow into my house (without being asked to do so). They worked efficiently, were priced reasonably, and left the work site cleaner than they found it. I have had a lot of trouble with plumbers being punctual and honoring the price they quoted, however Goodman was spot on in both aspects. I would recommend to one and all. Thanks again!

We were out of heat in the house due to the weather condition. We called Goodman Plumbing since we've used them in the past and have done a fantastic job. We got scheduled to have the tech come out the day after, which was not bad, since there's probably alot of people that are having plumbing and heating issues like us. On the day of the schedule, Stan called and let us know that he's on his way. He had asked me a few questions regarding the problem and had mentioned that he thinks he knows what's going on. When he came and confirmed his suspicion, he provided us with different options, and had gone out to buy parts for our broken boiler to get us fixed right away. It turns out that our 1979 boiler have had a melted part since it's probably working overtime recently. Stan had told us the option to replace it. It is an old unit after all, way past it's suggested lifespan. We were very happy though that he and his partner had fixed our heating to get us by. We will definitely call them back once we've decided to do the replacement.

I wasn't quoted a price as to what it could be. I found out when the gentleman was here that it a little expensive to even diagnose the problem and it could be more depending on the actual problem. He did snake my toilet and it initially fixed the problem, but the problem has reappeared. I have since contacted the owner who was more than willing to make amends and has refunded the cost because I was not aware of this price in the first place. Robert Goodman is a fair person. He would go beyond the call of duty to accommodate his customers. He wants to be known as a fair person.

Plumber was able to come up with a washer based solution, as new parts no longer exist, that successfully shuts the water off while we plan for how to handle the broader problem - the tub and shower unit needs to be replaced.

They fixed a broken water pipe. They were very quick and very professional.

Very, very well. One of the best contractor projects we've experienced. Courteous, professional, easy to work with, skilled, considerate, informative and helpful in making decisions. We'd gotten several quotes and their pricing was in line with the others, if not a bit lower.

This afternoon, Dave finished installing a brand new heater and the office kept me informed throughout the day, which is not something I am used to experiencing. They were punctual, professional yet made the technical stuff easy to digest. They also were terrific with the tenant. This entire situation from initial breakdown to finding Goodman on Angie's List to repair to paying the balance took literally 4 days. As a business owner, I am well aware of how much time can really cost. Not knowing who to call in an emergency can be daunting, especially when you have not experienced this particular type of problem. I could not recommend these guys more highly, and will make a point of referring them whenever possible. Stan, Dave...you guys are clutch.

They did a great job, clearly knew what they were doing, did what they said they were going to do, took all the necessary precautions and I have no complaint about the work except for their clean up. They threw some of their stuff into our recycle trash can which I wish they would have asked us before hand. They were diligent, knowledgable, on time and I will use them again.

I called Goodman Plumbing to replace a sump pump that stopped working. They called back and did the job the same day. Stan and Jessie were professional . Stan explained what he was going to do and the type of pump he was using. They did a quality job. I would use them again.

They are very professional and always get the work done right the first time. While their price is a bit higher, their quality is great!

He even sent me a picture of another house in the neighborhood that he had just worked on and verified my picture of my drains. Bottom line, later in the day the drain cleared and all was back to normal. He saved my money and his time by resolving the issue in the way that he did. Although I did not actually "use" their services, Goodman Plumbing served me well and I would definitely call them again.

They have been good. They are punctual, very neat, very clean and friendly. They are knowledgeable. They did what I asked them to do going forward, so in the event that they have to do this again, it would be a lot easier for them dealing with the next home owner. They did the work exactly how I wanted it done.

I scheduled the visit ahead of time. I was given the time slot of 8:30am to 12 pm. Jim called at about 7:50 to let me know he was on his way and then arrived at 8 am. He was knowledgeable, polite and professional. He had the part he needed with him, and he finished at 8:35 am. The unit now works perfectly.

Came very fast to an emergency leak (water spraying everywhere). The came within 2 hours and realized that the curb stop valve was offset so they couldn't turn it off. Got the spray down to a drip and had to order special tool. Scheduled to come back following Saturday (this was Thursday) but came back following Tuesday (fine with me as it wasn't an emergency anymore. Bill, my technician was good at explaining the situation and honored the AL coupon. I would recommend based on quick response, good communication and doing what was promised.

I tried to get 4 estimates. Weideman never called back, Vesey came, but they never called with an estimate. we played phone tag, but they didn't bother. Best Handyman I offered them a job that I didn't mention to others, but they never called with an estimate. I tried calling all of them but only goodman was willing to come out.

It was a bitterly cold and icy morning when I called Goodman Plumbing because we could not use any of our toilets, sinks or water using equipment because the main drainage from the house was clogged. this was a Sunday morning 8 AM and I reached their service which took my information and within an hour I heard from Tim, who said he would handle it today and call me as soon as he was on his way to our house. I would have preferred to have been told approximately what time he would arrive but as promised he called back at 11:45 AM to say he would arrive in 20 minutes, which he did. He walked into the house and after hearing the problem , knew exactly where to look and found that tree roots had created a blockage in the main sewer pipe, outside the house. He got us up and running after about 90 minutes of hard work out in the cold. Unfortunately he advised us that the tree root problem is relatively common in Philadelphia and at some point we will need to replace this entire sewer line. For the moment ,however, we have working bathrooms and clean clothes.

Excellent service. Came out on a Saturday in cold conditions. Reasonable price. I'll bring them back the next time I have a plumbing issue.

We were without hot water on a Sunday evening. We called Goodman at 8:30 am on Monday. The team arrived by 12:00, determined that we needed a new water heater. It was installed and they were gone by 3:30. They were professional, clean and neat. They even took the old heater with them.

We were very happy with the service they were friendly and were out quickly. We though the problem was worse then it really was which was great cause this time of year money is tight. They did a excellent job with repairs and cleaned up better then when they arrived and that goes a long way. We will surely use this company again they were a great experience. He was able to pinpoint the problem to being a PVC to copper connection. He gave me a quote on the spot and replaced the PVC with a copper pipe and that resolved the issue.

I have had success using them in the past, but this time they cancelled the appointment and didn't give me any advance notice. It will be very difficult to find another plumber to do the work this week being the week of Christmas.

Upon arriving onsite to install a pressure regulator that I already purchased, the plumber gave me a quote which he honored. However, I was under the impression that this involved several hours of work. He spent less than 30 minutes with a helper and performed a good job, but the overall price hit the outrageous scale (The equivalent of $550/hour, more than high-powered corporate attorneys).
