I think the plumber didn't understood our conversation as I want to have the ball valve but he put a regular valve. He did do goog job . He supply and install half copper tee fitting and new ice maker valve also section of 1/4 copper Copper tube behind the fridge. It works nicely. He gave me fifty dollars coupon off cuz of member of Angie's List and cost me 275.00 instead of 325.00 dollars. Thanks but I think still a little high price anyway thanks.

From the person who answered the phone to the two gentleman who replaced my water heater, customer service and professionalism was evident. I called mid morning inquiring about the service and they were onsite by early afternoon. Very accommodating to a customers needs. Highly recommend based on my experience yesterday as this type of customer service is rare to find.

I had a clogged 2nd floor bathroom sink drain. I also needed someone to pinpoint the source of a leak into my living room ceiling from the bathroom. They responded very quickly and arrived on time. My issues started when Maurizio walked in the door. Before even going upstairs, he looked at my ceiling and said, "I know these houses. It's the lead pipe under your bathtub and you're going to need it replaced. We're talking a couple of thousand." I asked him to please not assume what the problem was before he actually checked, as I thought it might be from the sink/vanity. He said "no, i know what I'm talking about, it's your tub." I informed him that I thought the lead pipe under the tub had been replaced prior to my buying the house. When he checked in the access panel he saw that indeed the pipe under the tub was fairly new. When he checked for leaks from that area he found nothing and then quickly changed up and said the leak was not coming from the tub. Next he briefly ran the water in my sink and informed me that I had no clog and that "unfortunately" the service call alone would be $85. (I love being treated like a total moron.) I told him to please let the water run a bit and then he would see. He then filled the sink up, and when the water would not drain past a certain point, he agreed that I had a clog. He unscrewed the pipe leading into the wall and told me THAT pipe was an old lead pipe and that he couldn't unclog it and I would have to have it replaced. He went on to explain that my floor would have to be torn up as it was tile over a concrete wet bed, and that the pipe was embedded into the concrete. I asked for an estimate and after calling his boss, he quoted me $2900 to demolish the floor, remove and replace the pipe, and install a new floor. I told him I would have to think about that and would get back to him. Honestly, at that point I wasn't trusting anything he said. In the meantime, he told me he could not snake out the drain since the pipe was lead. He gave it a couple of pops with a plunger as a temporary fix and charged me $165 to PLUNGE A SINK. He did take the coupon, which brought it down to $140, but still, this is something I could have done myself. I decided to get a second opinion from a different plumbing company, which I did the next day. The second plumber came out, did a thorough inspection of all possible issues, and told me that the leak to the ceiling was coming from said lead pipe. There was no charge for the estimate. They gave me a quote of $2500 which included removing and replacing the pipe, demolishing and replacing the floor, and installing a new vanity sink and toilet (which I purchased.) They also included replacing the newer pipe under the tub at no extra charge as they wanted to be sure all the work was done properly before laying a new tile floor. I ended up going with this other company to do the job. Upshot is: don't call Goodman Plumbing if you are a woman and expect to be treated like you have any sense. I found Maurizio to be very condescending and rather aggressive. I don't appreciate being told what a problem is before a visual examination is even done. I should not have been charged $165 for plunging a sink, and the estimate of the proposed work on the pipe should have been free (as it was with the other company.) Their estimate was also $400 more than the company I contracted, and didn't include several things that the second plumber threw in for free (new shut off valves for vanity and toilet, new lift-and-spin drain in tub. etc.)

Start to end, dealing with Goodman Plumbers was great. I called on a Sunday afternoon after discovering a leak (steady drip) from what I assumed was a first floor pipe as the evidence of it was on the unfinished basement floor. They offered emergency service (read: that day), but I opted to have them come out Monday instead. I was told I'd get a call first thing in the morning to confirm when my plumbers would arrive. The reason for the "B" on responsiveness was that my call didn't actually come until 12, telling me they were on their way over. I had taken the day off, so it wasn't really an issue. However, I was in contacts with other plumbing companies on Sunday, one who DID call me first thing in the morning on Monday, which led to a humorous, little mix up. Again, not a huge deal, but could have proven a little more costly for someone with a tighter schedule. The guys came (a licensed journeyman and what I assume was an apprentice). I showed them where I believed the leak to be as I had already removed the first floor bathroom sink/vanity completely and cut the dry wall open to save time and cost. Unfortunately, the leak wasn't where I thought, but they were able to use the cut I made to find the leak. They gave me the full quote up front, before proceeding. Also, since the leak was technically between the first and second floor bathrooms, they mentioned they may need to get in behind the second floor bathroom wall as well, BUT the price would remain the same either way. Within 2.5 hours, they had the job wrapped. They shut off the main water line, cut out an 8" section around the leaky pipe and soldered in a new section. They made sure to show me their work, were very informative and happy to answer questions, and made sure to test their work and the lines before calling the job finished. They also offered a year warranty on their work and took $50 off for being an Angie's List customer.

Everything went well. They were very punctual and prompt. They came out immediately after calling and I haven't had a problem with any of the employees that came out to service my home from that company.

I was satisfied with the first half of job. After they got the first line in, it was found that from the work they just did, the line coming from the kitchen had come apart. Somehow they separated the existing line. So now, over the phone I was quoted a price (same amount of the original job) doubling the job price. They suggested a public adjuster to work with, of course I wasn't happy with that experience either. Some months later I had another company in my home for another job and they told me I was ripped off. I won't use this company again, nor will I refer them to anyone I care about.

I had a leaky shower faucet that I had to constantly adjust to keep it from heavy dripping. Instead of repairing it, I purchased a new faucet from lowes @260.00 and contacted goodman plumbing to do the repair/installation. They were able to schedule an appointment super quick. I had called on a Saturday and they came in on that Monday. Maurice was very courteous, on time and work was done quickly. I've used them now multiple times and each time was very happy with their service. The work was 295 but via Angie list i was able to use a $50 dollar off coupon which brought the total price to $245. The repair of the existing faucet would have run nearly the same price so I was glad I went ahead and purchased a new one.

Fine--contractor corrected a minor defect in the faucets. Wrong washers were used and certain connectors were missing.

It has been almost a year since I last used this company The faucet repair was suppose to be a DIY, but the shut off valve did not shut off. So I called and requested George/Jason again. George was in the area came out straight away. He takes his time, did the work, cleans up when he was done, very professional.

I had several estimates from other plumbers, all of which were quoting different problems and rediculouse pricing. When the workers arrived from Goodman, they inspected the problem, immedeatley pinpointed the cause, suggested the best solution and quoted a realistic price. We agreed on a price and when they came back to complete the job they were professional, neat and held to thier pricing as quoted. Such a relief dealing with real professionals who take pride in thier work.

It went went exactly as it was supposed to go. The workers were informative and polite. They explained what they were going to do. They arrived on time.

They came and made an assessment. Left and got the parts. Completed the job, all in under an hour. Made it look easy.

They came early on a Monday morning and replaced my old and leaking and running toilet! Polite, nice plumber! I could then go to work! I was happy

The kitchen sink was draining slow and the main drain was leaking water in the basement. Searched Angie's List for plumbers in my area with good ratings of course and happened upon Goodman's Big Deal. Just like another member noted, they answered the phone after one ring. A few days later Bill came out to conduct the estimate. He was punctual and professional. He found that the main drain was cracked and clogged. Due to the nature of the job, it had to be scheduled for another day so that more man hours could be devoted. Once the job was completed they checked to make sure everything was working correctly and gave me a review of what was done. I was very pleased with their work.

They were very nice, and polite, got the job done. I have had no problems with anyone.

Plumber was contacted and received a call back the next day. We made an appointment within the same week; they contacted us on that day prior to 1/2 hour before the appointment to let us know of their arrival time. We received a quote on the services we needed, it was fair and all services were explained in detail. They honored a coupon that was advertised, they were very polite and extremely thorough. As the jobs were completed, clean-up was meticulous(all trash was removed.) They also used their own tarps prior to all work and asked if their shoes should be removed before entering certain areas. We were extremely happy with their work and would certainly use them again! A follow-up call was made to us after the work was completed!

I needed a hot and cold water line capped off. I called Goodman on a Friday morning and Mike arrived with 2 hours. I showed him what I needed done, he quoted a fair price (including reminding me of the discount for mentioning Angie's List), and quickly did the job. Mike was courteous and professional while working quickly. This is my second excellent experience with Goodman and I will call them first for any future plumbing needs.

They reached out to me almost immediately and I received a bid within 2 business days. The work was completed as planned and was completed to my highest expectations. Everyone that I interacted with was professional and very service minded - Goodman Plumbing will now be my go to plumbers
