I called 12 / 26 / 2014 @ 7:33pm. I talked with a friendly receptionist. I was told someone would be out tomorrow between 10am and 2pm. I received a phone call this morning 12 / 27 / 2014 @ 8:57 am. It was the plumber and he said , "he would be there in ten minutes". WoWI I like that . They were in and out....20 mins top. Very professional and the price was resonable.

We had lower level toilet backed up several times in spring- summer 2013. Several plumbers cleaned the line from the house suggesting that we need to remove big oaks in our front yard since roots probably block the sewer. We paid $250 4 or 5 times. Finally we called Goodman plumbing . They came within several hours, inspected the problem and recommended installing a cleanout. They obtained a permit and called city inspector. It turned out that the main line is on th the right side of the house, not in the front. They drilled and installed a cleanout, inspected line with video camera at least twice, and jet the line. It was a mess in our lower bathroom but they cleaned it. Robert came on the next day with video camera and jet to ensure that the line is clean. We have not had any plumbing problems since this day. And we still have our oaks in the front yard.

I called to schedule a free estimate since there were several "big deals" offers with prices from 250 to above 600. They came at the same day for free estimate $225 which was below discounted dealths. They installed a new toilet we purchased on the next day. They did a good job.

On the weekend after Thanksgiving, we needed emergency water heater repairs. We called another plumber, who did stop the immediate issue (with a $250 emergency repair fee) ... but a week later, our water heater was again out! We called Goodman Plumbing based on the Angie's List reviews and the fact that they had posted Sunday hours. They were at our house within an hour, and performed a comprehensive review of our water heater to determine the root cause of the issue. He determined why we were not able to relight the pilot light, replaced our pressure relief valve (which the first plumber should have done!), and also let us know that our water heater was still under warranty if we did in fact end up needing a replacement. We appreciated his honesty, and his good work -- our pilot light has not gone out since, and we have (happily) had hot water! We felt that their charges were very reasonable and we will use Goodman Plumbing from now on.

I first called Goodman and three or four other plumbers two days before Thanksgiving in 2013, when a faucet handle on the top floor sink broke and started spurting hot water all over the room. No one could come. But a Goodman plumber called me about 10 that night and tried to walk me through a temporary solution. He was in Montgomery County in a flooded basement and had two more places to visit that evening. I was impressed.And when I needed a plumber earlier this year to fix a leaky trap in the kitchen, I called Goodman. And again when a valve leaked inside a wall and damaged our dining room. I like them so much I have referred them to my brother, who also seemed pleased. Why Goodman seems different.

My entire experience with Goodman Plumbing was great. I called on a Monday afternoon, and scheduled an appointment for Wednesday, December 17, during the hours of 12 - 4. I then discovered a scheduling problem, called the morning of the 17th and they sent a plumber over right away. When he arrived, he was polite and got right to work. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and fixed my toilet in about 30 minutes -- even replacing a part that had nothing to do with the problem but might cause problems later. And he didn't increase his quoted price after this additional work. I even asked a few other plumbing questions unrelated to the problem, which he very helpfully answered.

Mike and his team were very efficient and Mike was very responsive in regard to any questions I had regarding the work that was being performed. Goodman did a quality job at a fair price and I would hire again for future plumbing services.

They responded quickly to my call. They set up a time to come, and they showed up on time. I knew I had a leaky toilet, and asked them to find the leak. They removed it, identified the wax ring as the culprit, replaced the ring, reinstalled the toilet, and even put some clear caulking around the base to make it look nice. Lastly, they reminded me of the Angies List coupon, which I'd overlooked, which saved me some money. Overall, a great experience.

We woke this morning to find we had no hot water. I tried to start the pilot a few times but failed. At around 10 AM I called another plumber I used in the past who wanted to charge me a service charge of 85 dollars on top of any work performed. I said ok, then a after I hung up remembered I was a member of Angie's list. I checked for plumbers in my area and found Goodman's. I called and spoke with a pleasant receptionist who said she could have someone out between 1 and 4. I canceled the other plumber and waited. Around 2 PM two service men showed up. The space was tight and these guys were big, but they didn't complain. They told me it was a coupling and would cost $225 to fix. They also said my heater was around 8 years old and I might want to consider a new one. I told them to do the repair. They were done before 3 PM. I said I was a member of Angie's list and they took $50 off the repair. I was very pleased with the promptness, the price and the professionalism. I would definitely use Goodman's Plumbing again.

Goodman Plumber Bill showed up on time and replaced my old toilet with a new one of the style and color that I had requested. The work was done in less than an hour and they left the area perfectly clean as if no work had been done! I am actually looking forward to having more work done!

Contacted 12/2 at about 4 pm. Pleasant receptionist helped clarify my problem then scheduled the job for the next day between 9 and 11 am. We received a call at 8:50 am on 12/3 notifying us the plumber would arrive at 9 and he did. Matt quickly diagnosed and snaked out the main drain, after which he explained the problem and recommended yearly maintenance. He answered all of our questions and went on his way.

Sent a guy out to diagnose the problem and came back and fixed it the same day.

From start to finish this crew was professional, kind to my elderly mother and the other family members. they even cleaned up the mess and boarded up the wall. They do not repair drywall since they stated customers complained and they are not drywall professionals. Would definitely use again and recommend to friends, families!

The toilet was leaking due to an old and rusty valve and i could not shut off the tap to the toilet as it was stuck. I called Goodman on Thanksgiving Day the 27th and the lady quickly answered. I was surprised that there was a live person to answer on Thanksgiving. We scheduled to have someone come out the next day. Sure enough next day morning Stan and Jessie from Goodman were at my house by 10:15am. Stan looked at the toilet and explained what needed to be done and gave me a quote. After getting the Go Ahead from me, they bought the new valve and flapper. Jessie brought a bucket and while Stan was removing the old parts of the toilet, Stan made sure that the water drained into the bucket and not all over the bathroom floor. Stan fixed the tap that was stuck in no time. The new parts for the toilet was replaced quickly. Stan made sure to clean up and take the old parts and remove all waste. All in all it was a pleasant experience. They even gave me the $50 Angie's discount. I have their magnet on my refrigerator and will surely reach out to them in future. Thanks Goodman.

They came, checked the problem told me the results and the price, did the job. They were suppose to fix the pressure problems I was having but changing the faucet didn't accomplish that. I was given different solutions, I opted to wait until the holiday was over before having more work done. Meanwhile I tried one or two things that were suggested and I have full pressure back. I would absolutely use this company again.

First off, I called at about 7pm and they were at my house the next afternoon. EXCELLENT! John came and was professional and personable. I really appreciated his thoughtfulness when he decided to snake the drain from outside (in snowy freezing cold weather) so that my bathroom wouldn't get splattered with gross sewer liquid. I paid $145.

They came out within 2 hours of my emergency call on a bad weather day. Cleared the drain efficiently and cleaned up after themselves.

The plumber was friendly, and happened to be in my neighborhood when I called (they have several out roaming around the area I imagine). So someone was at my house within an hour. Can't beat that. He was able to clean the drain line at the outside trap, so the whole process was very smooth. The drains are running great now. All lines were backed up before he arrived. He also gave me a $25 credit since they have all kinds of $25 coupons floating around.

I can't say enough good things about Goodman Plumbing. They are professional and knowledgeable and perform quality work. I recently called them for a very large job - to replace the trap and pipe leading from my house to the city sewer main which had started to crack due to the material and age and clogged due to debris and something that had solidified in the trap preventing the waste water from flowing to the sewer. They came out and inspected the pipe using a scope. They showed me the problem and explained how they would fix it. They gave me a fair price. They worked with my schedule and did the work quickly. They also replaced my cracked toilet and the trap to my leaky tub. They cleaned up after each job. I've dealt with several of their plumbers at this point and all of them have been friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. There was a mix up with the work to be performed; however, we were able to resolve the issue quickly and amicably. I highly recommend Goodman Plumbing and will use them in the future.

Plumber assessed the problem, and was very efficient in fixing things. He conducted himself as a professional. He listened to my concerns and gave knowledgeable responses to my questions. Will certainly call this company again for any future plumbing problems.

The two men were professional and competent.

I called at 920 - they were here by 1030 and the whole thing was fixed and they were out the door before noon. Excellent responsiveness even on a busy day. The guy was nice as was the person that initially answered the phone.

Two very professional men. George did the removal and connecting while an apprentice assisted George. Both were excellent to deal with. The work was done to absolute perfect standards. I grew up in a hardware store and have met all sorts of trades people. My father could also do anything the right way himself. While I would not have done this myself - I do know good workmanship. This was done to very high standards - better than most workman I seen anywhere. In fact, I've had other work done by Goodman - and they seem to only deal with really good workmen who can deliver high quality. This was no place to shortchange oneself. Worth what I paid knowing that it was done right.

The installation when well and to my expectations. John and Austin were on time and very professional and courteous. And were also very respectful of my home and cleaned up after the installation. I will definitely be using Goodman Plumbing again in the future.
