He went out and got the piece for the toilet. After he replaced the part, he wouldn't let me keep the old part, insisting that he would keep it instead. I was charged $85 for this and I think that is way more than what the job was worth, The piece itself isn't that expensive and it only took a few minutes to install. I also had a coupon from Angie's List, but he told me he couldn't accept it. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I've had great experiences 3 times before with this company, but this time the price was way to high.

Excellent service. Job was completed. The price was quoted before job & no extra cost at end of job.

I wasn't able to get in touch with someone from Angie's List until approximately 2;00pm and was anxious to see if I would be able to get someone to come out the same day even though I knew that time was not on my side. The young lady who was helping me, Justina Phillips was able to locate someone( Goodman Plumbing) who said they would be able to be out to fix my problem the same day. By now it was probably at least 3:00pm or a little later. Around 4:15 or 4:30pm I called Goodman Plumbing just to see if they were still coming and the lady I spoke to said that they weren't done for the day yet, but was not able to promise me they would make it. I remember ending the phone call by saying "I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed and see if they make it" and the lady from Goodman's thought that was a good idea. Next thing you know, about 4:45pm I get a call from one of the guys from Goodman's telling me that they will be at my house in about 45 minutes which I was very glad to hear. The plumbers(there were two) got to my house right around 5:30pm went right to work clearing the clogged drain and were done and on their way in approximately 30 minutes. Lucky for me it wasn't any worse than it was and I was very happy to get my kitchen back to normal. The plumbers were very nice and professional and I was very glad that they were able to come out on such short notice. I really appreciated that and would definitely use their services again and would recommend them to others in the future.

They came sooner than scheduled and very reasonably priced.

It went great. Guys were quick responsive and got it done. Had great prices and the guys just got to it once I said GO. I'll be using them over my previous plumber from now on.

Called on a Saturday night and had an initial response within an hour, replaced the next afternoon. Responsiveness, professionalism and work was all great, although the price seemed on the higher side ... although it was a Sunday and an emergency. Would use again.

They were very prompt and did a thorough, professional job. The issue is fixed!

After unsuccessfully trying to plunge the sink myself, I called Goodman's at 8:30pm. The receptionist was very professional and courteous and called me back to say they'd have someone at the house between 9 and 11 the next morning and would call prior to arriving. That call came just a few minutes after 9. The two men got the work done quickly, from snaking the drain to cutting a new pipe to replace one that had corroded. They got the drain running freely again and cleaned up after themselves. In all, this was a really good experience, and I'd definitely hire them again.

I initially called a local plumber in our area. I tend to do business with local businesses but a one-man show does have it's drawback. I wasn't satisfied with the responsiveness of the first plumber so my friend recommended Goodman Plumbing. I called Saturday morning at 8AM because I was too anxious and didn't want to wait until Monday. I was surprised when the gentleman picked up in two rings and told me someone would be out between 11-2. Around 1 Mike and Shawn showed up to do an inspection. After a few minutes they were able to tell me what was wrong. My j trap probably collapse due to the issue I was describing them. The work was performed on Tuesday (3 days after the inspection) and they showed up bright and early. They did a wonderful job and the issue we had was addressed. We couldn't be happier even though we paid a good amount of money to fix it. Homeownership, what more can I say?

The guys were professional and prompt. They tried to find the least expensive way to make the repairs first. We were expecting a snow storm on the day they were going to come originally scheduled to come and called to come the day ahead of the storm.

e reading this should spend a few hundred on aI called yesterday and scheduled for two-three drains to be cleaned to the street. A very nice operator handled the scheduling and Mr. Goodman was a pleasant gentleman. Matt was the lead man and Joe was the apprentice. Both always wiped their feet and first did the street drain back to the toilet. ( These pipes are some 60-years old.) I should say that we are having an ADA handicapped bathroom shower installed in place of the 1950 bathtub. The shower has a "Y" , to my design, so that the steel pipe is able to be cleaned. Upon cutting this pipe for the shower this week, we found that it was more than half-filled with ancient soap and hair. The crew got at least ninety percent out of the drains to the street. FROM LIFE EXPERIENCE, WE HAD THE GOOD SENSE TO CALL GOODMAN , who specializes in doing this right. If you live anywhere near Philadelphia, call this company. I am certain that their plumbing is excellent as well. We lived in New Hampshire where is is now well below zero. I suggested that Matt may wish to consider putting some anti-freeze on the machines and he was very grateful for the suggestion. The bill was very fair and anyone reading this should consider having said work dome on a five-year basis. I hate to think of hooking-up my new bathroom with the terriblbly loaded pipes which were in there!

They are awesome and the prices are lot cheaper and they better plumber than the people we used before. They came out the next day and the prices were really reasonable and the two gentleman that did come they were very very nice and professional. I have recommended them to all my friends.

Fantastic. We woke up the morning of the service with no hot water. Called Goodman and they had a serviceman at our door within an hour to see what the problem was. Our water heater was shot. I also asked him to check out our sump pump as I had a suspicion is wasn't functioning. Both the water heater and sump pump were replaced by early afternoon of the same day we called. The technician also showed me exactly what was wrong with both units so there was no question in my mind what was needed. Early this evening we had a problem with our gas heater. Called Goodman, a serviceman called back within a half hour and we made arrangements for him to perform a check up on our heater tomorrow morning. Maybe we've been lucky with the quick and efficient service, but I don't think it's luck, I think these guys know what great service means. By the way, they do great work as well. Steve F.

Came to give an estimate, we agreed on cost, and he called his boss and got permission to do the job right away. They were quick, efficient, and conscientious. They ran into one small problem with placement of faucets, I agreed with his suggestion and it looks fantastic. They were very neat and cleaned up after their work. I would definitely use these two guys again.

They didn't clean up after themselves. They snaked it, and they left whatever they got out of the drain for me to clean up. What they did worked, but they don't clean up, and I have seen the people who do that clean up. I don't care for the people who came out, but the owner refunded my money. The price was good. The management was better, but the people they sent out were not good.

Pat from Goodman Plumbing arrived early in the time slot that they provided. He got right to work and was able to fix our bathtub promptly. He also walked me through how he did it and how I can keep it from happening in the future.

I called yesterday because my basement drain had flooded again this happens to me about every two years ( big tree and roots). The technician arrived on time and got the roots out and a bottle( that's what happens when you have no drain lid). He then offered to install a drain lid, so no more bottles :-) The whole thing took about 15 minutes. I will definitely be calling Goodman Plumbing when my tree roots turn on me again in two years.

We had a plumbing emergency this morning. A interior pipe in our bathroom burst and we had pretty bad flooding before the water got shut off. Goodman Plumbing answered my call on the first ring, and had a team of two guys out very fast. They were awesome. Not only friendly, but smart problem solvers who were able to untangle the mess that the previous plumber had created and left behind. I have other plumbing needs for our home, and I will not hesitate to call them again. These guys did a great job.

The overall experience was very positive. Goodman did not have any availability, but put me on their standby list. They ended up sending a two plumbers (Billy and Steve) out the same day to correct my learning pipe. Billy is training Steve, so it was fun or me to follow in the experience. Billy does great work, he was careful to make sure not to damage existing (and likely fragile) piping. The price quoted was rather high, but I was thankful for the prompt service. I would think there may be some room to negotiate, but the $50 Angie credit helped.

It went beautifully -- they diagnosed the actual problem and also said that the incorrect cap on the stack was no big deal--not correct, but not an issue. They spend nearly a half hour here--and charged me $0.00 -- I couldn't believe it. They are obviously professionals, with much expertise, and with a level of integrity and graciousness that are an example to us all. I guess name really is destiny in this instance: the good men of Goodman. There is no question that if I have any plumbing problems in the future, I am going to call them and so should you!

My husband loves his "flushable" wipes. Our pipes do not. When we originally called late in the afternoon the day after New Years for help with our clogged pipes, we were told there were no people available until tomorrow. An hour or so later, Matt called and said he could come today instead of tomorrow. When he got here, he snaked our drain and hit a clog. He worked on it for about an hour until it was cleared. I have no doubt that Roto Roter, who we also called and wanted to charge us $675, would have given up 15 mins in. For a fourth of the cost, Matt saved the day and worked until the job was done. They don't make people or companies like this anymore. Hire these guys. And ask for Matt, he was great.

When I called, I was told that there were available service providers today and that they would call half an hour before coming to my house. At first I thought it would mean I would have to wait hours before they arrived, and that I wouldn't be able to leave the house to run some errands. But, they actually called within an hour to say they were 10 minutes away. They were professional and nice. They came to assess the leak, showed me where the leak was coming from, and told me what needed to get done. They gave me an estimate of $245 and they were done in half an hour. When they were done, they showed me what was repaired, turned the water on in the tub so that I could see it was no longer leaking. I asked if they would return for free in the future if it leaked again. They reassured me that after putting putty where it was leaking that it shouldn't leak anymore (crossing my fingers). I called their office afterwards to use Angie's coupon and Robert Goodman answered the phone. It was nice to be able to speak with the owner after the job was done. I would recommend!

He came earlier than expected ... same morning! Clean, neat, intelligent, efficient plumber. Completed the two jobs in less than 10 minutes. He showed me how to fix the problems the next time by myself and even gave me a garbage disposal wrench.

They offer a senior discount and I will continue. They are very personable. They are very accommodating.
