Perfect. Spoke with Rob about what I wanted and he went over all details about my different options. He even encouraged me to get other quotes. In the end I went with Rob because of his ethical approach to sales and pricing was in line with two other companies. Rob could have totally sold me a more expensive water heater but thoroughly reviewed my options and left the decision up to me. No pressure sales. Rob new his stuff. Installers arrived on time, were very knowledgable, clean and showed me how the new water heater worked. Very professional team of installers. I will use goodman for all my future plumbing needs. It's a good feeling to know there are still good, fair and honest people in the world. It also feels good to support a local company and now a big box chain.

I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. They called the morning of the appointment to verify the problem. Then they also called 30 minutes before their arrival to let me know they were on the way. When they pulled up to my house they immediately saw the probable cause of the clog. The vent cover on the sidewalk was completely broken. They were right and they pulled out a pretty good sized tree branch that had fallen into the vent. They got it all cleaned out and put a new cover on the vent (I promise to keep an eye on it, now that I know what it is). Then they checked the pipes in my utility room, indeed they were not leaking, and have not leaked since they were here. They were very friendly & professional. I will always call on them for my plumbing needs in the future!

After having a house fire and completely rebuilding, we had finally moved back into our home. Within 2 weeks, our washing machine was emptying right onto the floor, causing the area to get flooded. I called this company and they responded immediately, sending someone out the following morning. Ryan called about 45 minutes ahead to let me know when he was on his way and quickly figured out the problem when he arrived. Within about 15 minutes our water was running, free of obstruction. Although I no longer have an excuse to let it pile up, I am free to do laundry again :). Ryan was professional, likable and when I suggested maybe replacing the pipe (which would involve digging up the floor), he advised that it would be extremely expensive and perhaps not necessary. It was refreshing to deal with someone that isn't just trying to sell me unnecessary repairs. I was pleasantly surprised and will be calling Goodman for any plumbing service in the future.

EXCELLENT ! ! ! I needed same day service and the gentleman came out to repair the toilet within 45 minutes of my very first phone call which was approximately 4:45 PM. The price was good, he gave me an education on plumbing, and was an all around very nice plumber.

Goodman was fast, professional and reasonably priced. They were able to come out next business day and fixed my leaky faucet quickly. $35 Angie's List coupon was great bonus. Would use them again!

Everything went well. 2 gentlemen came. They were very informative about what was wrong and what the best approach would be. They were prompt, very best and clean. They took their time and did the job right. I thought they were priced a little too high, however, it may be a case of "you get what you pay for". I do recommend.

I contacted them through the app the night before - they responded first thing in the morning and had two people out to do the repair by 11:30 that day. They were able to get the sink unclogged and the disposal working again. They did recommend that I replace the disposal but didn't have one with them or the ability to give me a price or schedule the repair. If they had been able to do that at the same time, I would have given them an even higher grade under professionalism. Also they didn't bring anything to cover their boots and I have very light kitchen floors.

Although I cannot remember the name of the woman I spoke with, I was very impressed by her cordial manner. She reassured me that we could get a plumber here within 1- 2 hours. After about an hour, the plumbers (Stan and Jessie) called to tell me that they were on their way and we'd see them in about 30 minutes. They were on site in 20 minutes. Stan and Jessie impressed us with their professionalism and conscientiousness. They explained the problems with the old water heater very thoroughly and (patiently) answered my numerous questions. As it turns out, the old water heater had been incorrectly installed (among other issues< the gas was supplied via flex hose). Within a three hours, a new water heater was installed, the old water heater was hauled away and the work area was cleaner than when they arrived. This is our first time using this provider. Thanks to the professionalism and conscientious manner of Stan and Jessie (as well as the telephone receptionist), these folks will be our first choice in plumbing services from now on.

Mike arrived on Friday to try to use closed circuit TV camera to find the location of our main sewer blockage. He was not able to get the camera or a snake through the main trap and concluded that our trap was the problem. On Monday he went to our Borough Office and applied for and obtained the necessary permits. He then scheduled a crew for Tuesday morning to excavate and replace the trap area. The crew arrived on time and due to the tight space, hand excavated the area of pipe that needed to be replaced. They replaced the cast iron trap plus installed a new clean out as well as adding a pipe downstream of the trap for future camera access if needed. They then used the closed circuit camera to check the remainder of the line and determined it to be intact and in good shape from the house to the street. The work was very quick and high quality and they performed the work while the wind chill was in the single digits. This was our first use of Goodman Plumbing and we plan to use them in the future.

They are very punctual and prompt responsiveness. Continuously communicated with me the status of the service. Quality customer service and a job well done.

Adrienne was my initial contact at Goodmans, and she was phenomenal. I loved speaking with her on the phone, she was very patient with me and explained the entire process to me and made sure I understood what was to be expected. The appointment was made last minute, and she was able to fit someone in to give me a free estimate! Michael showed up exactly on time, and was very clean and tidy, ensuring that the property was left the same way when he came in. He was very thorough and brought up many valid points. He explained to me the severity of the issue and was able to write out a very fair estimate for me on the spot. As an investor, and a real estate agent, this is the kind of work I would trust my tenants, and clients with. The company has two different locations so that they can serve more of Philadelphia. Their hours are long, and you will get someone on the phone, even if it's busy! Awesome job to these guys, unfortunately we were not able to hire them for the job as it looks like there may be some upcoming issues with the transaction of the property.

Plumber came out and had to turn off the water at the street. Would not do it due to mud being on the shut off valve so I had to call Aqua pa to shut the valve off. After aqua pa made sure that the shut off valve could be shut off without issue I called back the plumbing service to send the plumber back out. Initially they were not able to send someone back out but then they called me back and were able to send out one of their available plumbers. Overall they did a nice job and everything is working correctly. Robert was very professional and cares about his customers and their experience with his plumbing service, would definitely use them again.

John and Vince did an excellent job. They were very professional, knowledgeable , and courteous. They did the work and cleaned up after. They answered questions we had about the work they even answered a few questions we had not related to the work done. Their price was fair. We'd not hesitate to call them again and I would refer them to my friends and family. It's hard sometimes to find a good contractor. When you do it gives you peace of mind and you know the job was done right. John

While the plumber was polite and seemed knowledgeable at the time, his fix was really a short-term one and ultimately came undone about 6-8 months later. Instead of actually fixing it and using new nuts over the old ones that needed to be replaced, he puttied together the two pipes. Needless to say, we had to bring in another plumber and spend more money for the same issue that should have been fixed already. We were bummed because we thought Goodman would be good given all the reviews, but the company ended up taking the easy route and for that reason, we won't use the firm again.

I think the plumber's name was Ed. They checked front and back drain, then snaked the main drain from the back. It took no time at all, and they explained everything to me before hand. Then showed me the actual problem afterwards. Thank you Goodman for your excellent work. This is not the first time I used you guys, and it will not be the last. :)

Awesome!!! Called them at 8am they were very flexible with coming out before a showing on our house and did a fantastic job and cleaned up nicely.

Technician called to see if he could pop in ahead of the scheduled appointment to assess the situation quickly then he went to get necessary parts and came back at the scheduled time and completed the work quickly. The work was very clean and professionally done. No complaints at all.

Kitchen sink: unscrewed the faucet head and simply tapped on its end to take out the little obstacles. Took only about 30 seconds to do this entire procedure. Total cost for this: $95 Sump pump: they had done the initial sump installation last year, but the battery and electronic controller failed a year later. Contacted Goodman about this and though they said the electronics was under warranty, they charged $485 to replace the battery and another $485 to replace the electronic controller, both of which should have been under warranty. Total cost for this warranty work: $970. Install sump pump quiet check valve: took 30 minutes to install, we provided the part, and they charged $345 for this. Shower hot/cold cartridge is warranted for life from Delta faucet, so they said they would contact the manufacturer to acquire this part using our name/address, since this was a "no charge" for the part. It took them 10 minutes to remove old part and replace with new one, and they charged $285. Water heater temperature check valve: they installed the thermostatic mix valve, which after some research, I could have purchased for $109. They charged $685 for this, even though it only took 15 minutes to install. To do all this work, it took them 3 appointments and only about 2 hours total. They kept having to come back because they were missing some parts. Each time we had to take off of work to make their appointment, but each time they were either several hours late, or had to cancel altogether. Very frustrating and unprofessional, since they never call to let you know about their tardiness or cancellation.

Quick and painless. They came within an hour an a half from calling and had the drain cleared in a short time. They gave me a few pointers on maintenance and were very helpful.

Sewer line backed up when we ran the washing machine, causing a leak in the basement. Called at 11.30 Saturday morning, got through immediately and they were here by 2pm to snake the sewer line. Done in 30 minutes, no hassle, no fuss, very professional.
