Stan arrived on time around 9:30 AM and explained to me all my options and explained how each upgrade would work. I didn't know that I shut off valves existed . He was extremely professional and highly competent. He and a partner worked for 5 hours . He set the water heater thermostat at 120 degrees but told me that all water heaters are different and to let him know if the water was not hot enough. He gave me his cell number. After my wife took a shower and determined it wasn't her warm enough , we called him. He came back on his own time to adjust it . He really is a great person too.

Quickly responded to the request. They were able to survey the concern and offer options for repair and the pros and cons of each option. I was able to chose the option that best suited my needs and had the repairs completed in a timely manner.

Most of the work was fine. The one valve did no have a drain port necessary for a shut off leading to an outside spigot. Left a mess of old wax and sealant at the flange work site

It was very good. They are very prompt when you call them. The service was completed in less than 30 minutes.

Jim came and did a great job. He spent all the needed time to get the work done well, had all the right equipment, and cleaned up afterward.

They were quick to respond to the kitchen sink back-up and professionally repaired it within an hour. We were so pleased with the service and the cost that we asked them to replace 2 toilets for us. This work was done within 3 hours for less than $700.00 total.

They came out the next day and did the job quickly. I'm very happy and would hire them again

Yesterday water was pouring out of the ceiling in my garage under the master bathroom. I had no idea where the leak was coming from, so I had to shut off the water main to the house and find a plumber. I used Angie's List, and found Goodman Plumbing was top rated in my area. I called them about 4:30 - they said the first they could get to me was next day, so I took the first available appointment (8-12) and asked if they could get to me as early as possible. This morning I got a call at 7:15AM from George telling me he was on the way. He arrived at 7:45 (even earlier than promised)! I showed him where the water was coming from in the ceiling, and the sink that was above it. I also told him my wife noticed water on the floor by the toilet. This could have been a pinhole leak in the supply lines to the sink - probably a $1500 repair that would require tearing out walls. It could also have been the wax seal on the toilet - a $250+ repair. George told me why he didn't think it was either of those things - he quickly found the leak (it was coming from the supply line to the toilet tank at the bottom of the tank - the water was running down the supply line into the floor, down the floor joists and over to the lowest point under the sink). He could easily have told me this was an expensive repair - instead he told me the cost to replace the parts to the toilet (supply line, valve, flapper) was a standard $185 (less the $35 coupon). He was in and out in less than an hour, left the bathroom spotless, and couldn't have been nicer or more professional!

After looking at the loose connection, I was told it would be an $85 service fee for them to tighten it. He was unable to get the faucet off in the master bathroom and was not able to "figure out" why there was no hot water. I called another plumber who fixed the leaky connection in 5 minutes and diagnosed and fixed the faucet after finding that the original contractor accidentally connected a cold water hookup to the hot water in the sink. Another easy fix and a total of $50 for the entire visit. This company is overpriced and doesn't seem to be well trained. I would not use them again.

Nick from Goodman performed the work and was terrific. He had to dig out the 4' deep water box pipe that was curb side and filled with dirt and mud to access the curb side shut-off valve. Had it cleared within a 1/2 hour, shut off the main water supply and quickly got busy replacing the faulty valve in my basement. Quick Response, great customer service and excellent plumbing service. Would definitely call them again.

Called 7:45am. Technicians were here 8:15am. Done by 9:30. Courteous, professional and clean service.

The office responded promptly to my inquiry. A representative came out to survey the problem and gave me a reasonable estimate. John and Sean arrived before noon to complete the job. They were knowledgeable and pleasant.

Everything was great. He was very well mannered and professional.

I was able to get an appointment exactly when I wanted. I had to be out of my home at noon the day of the appointment, and I was given a 9am-1pm window. The plumber called at 8:30am saying he was on his way, and arrived right at 9am. The job was a disaster with the amount of silicone under the sink, but after a lot of work, they were able to replace the faucet in about an hour or so. I would highly recommend.

The resolved the problem, and it has not reoccurred. They were very pleasant.

They are very good and I think they are reasonable. They are prompt and they come out when they say they are going to come out and they are reliable. They are good.

Work was excellent. Very professional. They sent a camera up the kitchen drain line to check and found additional problems. We were very glad they took this precautionary step.

They've been here a couple of times. They were very, very good.

First of all we called this morning and they were very busy but worked to fit us in. They called 1/2 hour prior to arriving to let us know when they would be here. The service person was professional and polite and thorough and after checking everything and all the faucets he told us we were in good shape and needed no further activity. He called his manager to see how much to charge us and they only charged us $85.00 ! We will never call another plumber- they were just great. Thank you Angie's list!

It went amazingly well!! I found their name here on Angie's List, read a few reviews (hoped they had another person answering the phone than the other reviewer), held my breath and called. The woman who answered was professional and fast. She said that a tech would be out to my residence sometime that afternoon. I got a call from tech about 10 minutes later. He said they were heading my way and were here within an hour. Two guys showed up and were extremely nice and professional. They explained what I should expect from them and got right to work. My main drain had VERY difficult access, but no problem! They cut an access area and proceeded to unclog the main. They were able to do this quite quickly and did so with humor and kindness. They even wiped down the (already gross because of the backup) basement bathroom! The entire process was completed, starting with phone call to the guys departing in the truck, was 2 hours and 3 minutes. Unbelievable!

They are really good at negotiating prices. They are pricey but the quality of work is outstanding.

Goodman came out the same day I called, inspected the problem. The project took 2 days (1 day to dismantle the old water heater and a second day to bring out a new water heater and install). They built a new ventilation system, fixed a gas leak, and even cemented up the collapsed chimney. They were professional, courteous, and friendly.
