Very well. Plumbers were friendly and thorough.

On Thursday afternoon, 7/19, we discovered water in our basement leaking from the hot water heater. We called Goodman Plumbing and very shortly were told that someone would come. Roman Boretsky called, got the information about the kind and size of heater it was, and arrived at about 7 pm with the replacement heater. Including a pipe replacement, he had it installed by 9:15 pm, and we had hot water by 10:00 pm. Roman was courteous and efficient throughout his work.

I had a leak in my bathroom ceiling. Was not sure what it would be due to, so I called Goodman Plumbing to see if it was a plumbing issue. The gentleman came out, took a look and told me that it was not plumbing related. He even went out in the yard and took a look at my roof. Told me it was a vent flashing that had dry-rotted and split. To call a roofer right away and tell them it was the 3 inch flashing. The gentleman refused payment and advised me to call a roofer before the next rain. I am so grateful for such awesome customer service and Goodman has a customer for life with us. Roofer came out the next business day and confirmed it was the vent flashing. Replaced that one plus all the ones on the roof because if one was dry-rotted, the others would soon follow. I am amazed with the service of the businesses listed on Angie's List. I am grateful to have found this awesome resource.

Beautifully. I recommend Goodman to everyone. I LOVE MY PLUMBER. Who says that? I've been relying on Nick Hollister in particular for the past year -- we have a rental property in Fairmount and our primary residence in Wash West and have needed plumbing services at least four times in the past year. Today's was a simple, non-emergency, toilet fix -- potentially a planning pain in the patooty to get someone in but not with Goodman. I contacted him on Sunday eve and identified a good window for us both on Tuesday. This AM got a narrower time frame and an update when Nick was on his way. Voila! Functioning toilet. Happy customer.

Not as expected. The plumber sent to do the job did not honor the $25 coupon offer on Angie’s List. He said he had a $20 coupon he uses from the Yellow Pages. Also, the cap on the sewer drain wasn’t on tightly so it resulted in another call to the company to request someone to come out to tighten it. I wouldn’t know if they came back or not since I was at work. Disappointing, but will never use this company again.

Chuck (who showed up on my caller ID as Steve) spent a total of about 5 minutes and charged me an outrageous amount. His demeanor was off-putting and dismissive, rather than the cheerful and pleasant attitude I'm used to seeing with contractors from Angie's List. He got the job done but I just can't recommend him to others. I spoke to Mr. Goodman came and resolve the issue. Mr. Goodman was a great man.

Very well. The job took longer than they expected but they didn't charge us more and cleaned up completely before they left. We have some additional work for them to do and will call them soon.

Our plumber was Roman Boretsky, and he came the evening that we called and evaluated the problem. He was back the next morning and he fixed the leak and the water pressure. He did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend it.

Technician Roman Boretsky did an amazing job with the installation of my Hot Water Heater...The removal and install was little more involved given where the unit was located. There were gas lines that need to be removed to be able to move the water heater. Roman was courteous...friendly and very knowledgeable. It is always a gamble choosing a repair technician...I was fortunate to have such a good experience with my repair. I highly recommend Goodman Plumbing Inc. Five Star Rating *****

This was an ongoing nightmare for us for about one month with the sewer backing up in the basement a month apart. Each time we contacted the plumbers someone came right away and provided a lot of information for us. Ultimately our ceramic pipe had collapsed and needed to be replaced. They did that job in one day which was truly amazing. My only complaints are that it was very expensive (but we did not get other pricing estimates) and that we were not prepared for the mess that was left in the front yard after they had to dig it up. However, they did an excellent job, are reliable and prompt and I would hire them again

Called on Friday came on Saturday which was good Fixed one pipe and charged $500 Too expensive

First of all, I called a different plumbing company the day before and they couldn't come out until early this morning. They checked and tried twice to unclog the drain, but was unsuccessful. Afterwards, I called Goodman Plumbing and within a couple of hours they were out working on the drain. They didn't stop until the drain was clear and it didn't take long. Finally, I was able to use water in the house. Great Job!

The plumber Roman Boretsky was very frank and upfront about what needed to be done and quoted us a price which seemed in line with the work he did. He got to work right away and spent several hours getting the job done. He was honest about what other work he saw will need to be done later.. He was neat and answered all questions He even repaired a ceiling puncture due to the location of the new pipes being repaired.

Note: I also sent this to the company hoping for a response. They have not yet responded. Thanks for sending someone over on a Saturday, I do appreciate the hours you are available. Unfortunately, the person who came by was none too happy to speak to me after he and my husband reported they couldn't find the leak in our tub (even though there were wet towels under the tub to sop it up). Your fellow said it would cost $500 to fix it. I called a handyman who looked at it, could see dry rot in the rubber and fixed it for $50 (including time and materials).

They were excellent, they were very good. I love them. The way they do they job is so nice. They gonna come back again for a different project.

Great job. No more slow draining in the bath and kitchen plumbing. On time, quick response, honored the Angie's List coupon. Made sure all drains were working before leaving. I would definitely rehire this company.

Emergency call due to a flooded basement. They had someone at the house in 40 minutes. Everything was replaced and back to normal 36 hours later. Great service and communication. Would use them again and again.

Ed & Ed came in and cleared the house drain for less than a third of the price that Zoom Drain charged me to fail to clear it, the previous day. They explained why they were snaking instead of hydrojetting, it all made sense and most importantly, it worked and didn't take long at all.

Fantastic! Roman Boretsky was our installer and not only was he proficient but he was also very personable! He filled us in on all of the details before departure. Called in the morning and it was complete in two hours by the end of dinner time.

My heater broke during the coldest week in winter, so I called Goodman, since they had done some big job here a couple years ago, and did it well. This time they disapointed me. They send a young plumber, who was not familiar with the system, said that it can't be fixed and I need to buy a new heater. Charged me $85 dollars for a visit, did nothing and left me to freeze here. It was 45F in a house. When I asked for a detailed estimate for the gas heater replacement, I've never got one. They just gave a rough number about $7-8k and didn't explain what is included. In any case, turned out I didn't need a new heater. It just needed to be cleaned, and another plumber from a different company, listed in Angie's, spent just about 1.5 hours here cleaning and turning up the system. The heater worked fine since then. Glad I found an honest plumber. I won't trust Goodman my future jobs.

The team was professional, they responded promptly to our initial inquiry and delivered a bid that was competitive. They took care of coordinating with the city for the appropriate permits, on the day the work was done they were on time and completed the job in a thorough and professional manner. Overall a pleasure to work with. It was a big job and they did it well from start to finish.
