Response from Goodman Plumbing Inc
On January 30, 2016 Mr. [Member Name Removed] called for emergency service for a leak in the ceiling at [Removed Address] . Our plumber arrived within a couple hours of his call. Upon arrival our plumbers inspected the ceiling damage and leak. Jim then checked the bathroom for leaks and checked in the trouble door behind the bathtub. Jim found no obvious signs of leakage. The next standard procedure is to open ceiling where damage had already taken place, Jim provided estimate and explained to the homeowner the cost and procedure of gaining access to pinpoint the leak before any work was started. At which time the customer agreed to move forward with opening the ceiling and detecting the leak. Jim had to tarp off area and set up ladder to detect leak. Jim exposed bathtub drain line and underside of fiberglass bathtub. Jim found no leaks on drain after continuous running and filling tub. Found the fiberglass tub appeared to show signs of wetness. Jim recommended to the customer to have a fiberglass specialist look at the bathtub. We apologize for any misunderstanding, we try to be very upfront with pricing and give a clear explanation of any work that would be performed. As always at Goodman Plumbing customer service is our #1 priority.
