Overall, it was a good experience for a traumatizing situation. The guys were very trustworthy and professional. I really liked all of them. My only complaints are: 1. I would have liked better communication on what to expect as far as a timeline 2. I would have liked to have known when who was coming to do what 3. I would have liked a true assessment of how long the job would take But I liked this company very much and trust them. Update: 7/18/12 At the time of the first visit they told me one price of what the repairs would cost and then it continually got higher and higher as they kept finding other things to repair. Communication was not excellent but at this point they had already started digging in my bathroom so I was between a rock and a hard place. As time went on I didn't have my bathroom because the contractors were unable to come out and finish the project. The company said if you go ahead with this repair then we can get an adjuster in here to get you half of the money back. The adjuster came but no money was given back because my policy didn't cover it. I just feel like if they were up front from the beginning then I feel like the process would have turned out different. I do not feel like they are the best and I was not comfortable with them. Overall the work that was done was good, but I just do not trust that they are the best.

answered and responded to call in a timely manner. Came out for estimate when promised and was able to perform a small fix at the time of the estimate. Honored our coupon and we were not charged the estimate fee since they did the work. Called 1/2 hour in advance of showing up, which was really helpful and appreciated. Performed the work as promised. The only reason for the B was that they spilled paint while touching up after the work. The removal of the paint left a stain on the vinyl flooring.

As an older gentleman, I appreciated how the plumbers put me at ease regarding this unexpected repair. Their professionalism went a long way toward calming this senior citizen.

John was professional, knowledgable and friendly. Although there was little to clean up, he wiped the floor near the sink and put back items under the sink.The garbage disposal works like a dream.

Stan was extremely professional and clearly knew what he was doing. He & his fellow crew member did an absolutely PERFECT job. Additionally, the guys patiently answered all of my questions (very rare in the plumbing profession in my experience), and made sure not to make a mess in my house (extra tricky in my situation as my hot water heater is on the 3rd floor & I have light colored carpets). I waited a few months before writing this review in case of any issues with the new hot water heater, etc...and I can say that there have been absolutely no issues whatsoever. In fact, I previously had an issue (prior to having the new water heater installed) with "water hammer" that was fixed as a bonus by-product of their excellent work. Goodman definitely was not the cheapest, but I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to family & friends. They did arrive a little later than expected, however since they were coming from Philly & I live in the western suburbs it's really not that unusual due to traffic on 76, 422 etc...

I was told the plumber would come between 9 and 12 on Friday morning; he called during that window to give me a more accurate time, and then again to clarify my address, so he was a little later than I liked, but I was glad he called. He cleared the drain quickly and gave me some advice about fixing it myself the next time. He also loosened the aerator on the bathroom sink so I can take it off and replace it down the road. All in all, it was a bit of an expensive lesson, but the advice was welcome, and I really appreciated his professionalism and courtesy; a previous plumber gave me grief about using LP and this plumber did not. I would call Goodman again.

We called the plumber around noon and someone was there 4 hours later to perform the work. The plumber that performed the work was very professional and told us the cost before performing the work. They left the work area very clean as if they were never there. I will definitely call them the next time I need a plumber.

We have been very happy with them. They have done both major and minor jobs here. I have been thoroughly happy with them. We have been happy with the people we have got through Angie's List. They are fine we have been very happy with them. They came out within 2 days. It was not an emergency and I told that. We were replacing it to get better efficiency. They were here in December as well to do $5000 worth of solar pipe work done here. I didn't give them a feedback earlier as I was not able to answer on their price. I had called them out and they did a small job for us earlier. We called them out as we were having a recurring gargling sound in the pipes. They started to look at it and then they brought in a camera and then they found out from one of the cameras that one of the solar pipes had dirt underneath it and it eroded and the pipe had pitched in the wrong direction and so they had to tear up the back of our rec room 2 weeks before Christmas. They then found that in addition to that it caused a build up in the main solar pipe coming down. So they had to tear that out. So we were kind of growing as they found more and more, but when they were done everything was fixed and the piping looks great. Its one of those things where I know they did the work but you can't tell because it was all underground and in walls. They were a very professional crew when they came out. They worked with us when there was times when they had to turn off all our water which was a bit of a problem. So that was a kind of dance we did, but they did a great job. We are happy with them. They never left us for more than just a few hours where we didn't have access to the toilet which was a big deal because they were here for a week. I was reluctant only because I didn’t know how much another plumber would charge to do it and by then we grew into it and I began to trust their reports from Angie's List. I didn't know if it would have been cheaper than $5000. We got them to replace the toilet as this thing ran into our powder room and the back and the rec room that's when we found out about these new Gerber toilets and that they were new guys that were new in the market. A couple of weeks ago we decided to replace the upstairs one too with a Gerber toilet. I can put a write up, I don't mind doing that but I am going to read a word of the cost portion because I really didn't know if it was a good deal or not. I suspect it was, it was at least two guys for a week plus a couple of other people running back and forth. We had a great tunnel, they dug up the concrete in the rec room and they had to replace the concrete in the rec room and that was a big deal. I will write up the price and put that on the wall, I did not feel I got ripped off. I can't tell if it was the best price in town for the work or not because it wasn't competitive so I couldn't gauge it. I couldn't compare it. May be that's all I need to put in and all the top people I went by on Angie's list. They were great, we were very happy. We called them back.

My kitchen sink was filling up my downstairs washer tub. The drain was blocked. I called Goodman Plumbing & within 2 hrs. Mike was at my house. He was very professional and did an excellent job. I will be using Goodman in the future and requesting Mike.

I think they did a good job. Especially coming out at that time of the year. I was really appreciative that they were able to do the work. I was just so happy they were willing to do it. I called several different places that couldn't do it at the time. I think they did a great job. They were very nice.

The job went well. They did a good and fast job. They did everything they told us including the scheduling. They had to bring in a subcontractor to replace the top floor in our bathroom and that went really well. So we had no issues and it went smoothly. I couldn?t find a fault with any of their work. Everything they told us was straightforward and it exactly what they told us.

We liked them a lot. They were prompt and did what they needed to do. They were there when they said they would be and it didn't take them very long. They were nice. I thought it was a little expensive but I guess that is what a plumber costs. I didn't think it was cheap but it wasn't horrendous. He was very good and we knew exactly he was coming. He was professional and we would absolutely use them in the future.

After dealing with a lot of other contractors for this project, Goodman Plumbing was the most efficient, professional, courteous and fairly priced. It was a pleasure to do business with Goodman and I will recommend them to anyone who needs a good plumber.

From the first phone call I could tell Goodman would be responsive. They were, with the exception that my wife had to call to confirm they were still coming. I called Goodman Sunday night, after I shut off my water main and could not get water to turn back on. They reassured me they didn't need to come out that night (and have me pay a large premium for Sunday after hours time) - and that my boiler wouldn't require make-up water just overnight. They said they'd come between 9 and 12, but would call first. 11:30 came and my wife decided to call to verify they didn't forget about us. They got there about 12:30 (I think). Not much work was required at this time, but they fixed the valve and quoted some additional (future) work for us. They were very professional and courteous - and understood the future work was just that, and didn't try pressure sales tactics. My only regret is I forgot to tell them I found them on Angies list - no coupon redeemed. My mistake.

Phoned Goodman with an emergency situation: due to a slight gas smell in my basement, the gas company shut off the gas at the main and would not turn it back it until a plumber checked out and corrected the leaks. A Goodman plumber came to the house within a few hours and fixed the problems. I thought the price was reasonable. The fellow who did the work was friendly and let me know what was going on. Will definitely use them again.

Their work was great. They responded very quick and their price was reasonable.

He was pleasant, funny, smart, and efficient. Ask for Mike if you have a drain-related problem!

After he evaluated what needed to be done he gave me estimate and requested a down payment so that I couldsecyre ur would get done the following Saturday. They cane back exactly in time as promised. Job was dine within about 2-3 hours. I was happy to have it done and over with. He was courteous and seemed knowledgeable about the work needed. I would hire them again.

Once you become a customer they really value you and take care of you. They are responsive, quick, on time and smart. They are amazing and just wonderful!

My kitchen sink drain was blocked. This has happened several times over the past couple of years. The last time, about 3 months ago, I went out and purchased a 25' auger. I was able to unclog it myself. This time, I ran the auger thru two different times and could not unblock the drain. I found Goodman's name on the list. They have only been on the list for a few months, but they were local, so I gave them a call. I left my number with their answering service and within 15 minutes I got a call back from the plumber. Mike from Goodman Plumbing came out about an hour after I called and he cleaned the drain out quickly. I was very happy with the quality of work and the price, especially since I called on a weekend. Mike gave us tips on how to prevent clogging in the future.

Leak in either laundry room or kitchen. called goodmans on a friday night. since water stopped leaking goodmans advised to wait until morning to save the emergency fee of $125. They came out the next morning and found that the kitchen faucet was leaking into the bottom of the cabinet and onto the floor flowing into the laundry room and kitchen. Plumber replaced the faucet and the shut off valves that were corroded.also checked the laundry room and advised that hoses on washer should be replaced as well as shut off valves under the laundry tub. we will have that done at a future date.He also gave my husband some tips on how to to dry out the bottom of the wooden cabinet. I used the Angie list $50 coupon.

They came on time, were professional, courteous. We couldn't be more satisfied.

Tubs were full, no drainage at all from wash I did at night.The next morning I made a few phone calls. Goodman plumbing answered the phone and gave me an estimated time of when someone could be there. Within a few hours, someone came, cleared the drains. They also noticed that the trap underneath was rusted and would have cracked very soon. The man saved the rusted piece to show that it was falling apart with a touch of my finger. This prevented what could have been a flooded basement

Our kitchen sink was completely clogged. Called Goodman in the morning and they had someone at the house by the afternoon. They were booked in the morning but were able to come to our house inthe afternoon. They worked hard to unclog the drain in the pipes in the basement. Billy, the plumber, was very professional and courteous and he did a nice job on the clean up afterwards. Very satisfied.

They came out immediately after my initial call. They do good work. They left the area clean after they were finished with their work. I have used them several times and am always pleased with them.
