The work was scheduled quickly and performed efficiently and professionally. I have every confidence that my gas lines are now permanently and securely fixed. They had been installed using iron pipe, which rusts, a poor choice for a manufactured house over a shallow crawl space, and Goodman replaced everything with galvanized pipe. The plumber who was sent out to evaluate the situation also detected a gas leak from a recent furnace installation that a plumber from another company completely overlooked. He was thorough in his inspection and explained things well. There was no pressure or heavy-duty sales pitch as there had been with a previous company. The price may seem high, but this job took two days and was performed in difficult working conditions. I'm satisfied that I got my money's worth.

Roman and Shane did a great job replacing the 17+ feet of large heater pipe which was corroded badly. They also replaced some of the smaller vertical sections and junctions, which really made the repair so much more complete and presentable. Though honestly, I thought the prices were kinda high, the pantry sink fixture is beautifully done and the 3rd floor toilet was neatly replaced and both function perfectly, In order to repair the first floor shower, they had to break through tile and sheetrock in the next room for pipe access. They did a VERY neat job, especially getting through the tile, and left all of the removed tile intact in case we ever need them. All of the other jobs they performed throughout the rest of our almost 120-year-old home were completed efficiently and neatly. As an aside, This was not our first encounter with Roman. 17 years-or-so ago, while he was working with another company, he played a most impressive role in the beautiful remodel of our master bathroom, which had - and STILL HAS - a very intricately designed tile pattern, which Roman dissected piece-by-piece and then meticulously restored with all of the old-world skill, charm and caring attention to detail that the original builders put into it - maybe even BETTER! So ****-yeah, ask for Roman! :-)

Work was completed as agreed. Replace a 5 ft piece of waste pipe. The house was build in 1920 and the cast iron pipe had deteriorated. Most of the pipe was behind an old concrete wall required drilling and removing a toilet; nasty job. Job was completed in 2 days, I'm happy.

At 3:30 in the morning on a Sunday a pipe attached to the expansion tank of our hot water heater broke due to a poor install job by a different company. The cold water fill pipe was blasting water into our basement. We placed an emergency call to Goodman and Roman arrived a short while later. He was very professional and fully repaired the tank and pipe in less than two hours. We’ve used Goodman before and will use them again. They continuously do good work. The price may seem a bit high however it was Easter Sunday and was well worth it.

Roman and Shane replaced a main stack plumbing pipe in my home running from the ceiling of the first floor down into the basement, opening up a concrete wall in the basement and a plaster wall in the dining room in the process. They explained what they were doing all along the way and answered the questions I had for them as they came up. Additionally, Roman was able to keep the historical crown molding and chair rail intact in the dining room in the process of having to break down the rest of the wall, which my wife appreciated and will greatly simplify the cost of having the wall patched up and repainted. I would recommend Goodman to anyone seeking a plumber in the Main Line area - this is not the first big job they have had to do for us in a very old home, and while hopefully it will be the last, I won’t hesitate to use them again if needed.

We noticed our water heater leaking on a Saturday afternoon and knew we needed to have it replaced. We called Goodman and they gave us a quote immediately over the phone and said they would send someone that same day. Billy arrived less than an hour later and the whole job was done by dinner time. Billy and team were very professional and friendly. They explained all the work to us and the price was fair. We will definitely use Goodman again!

Excellent. Estimators came the next day to give me a free estimate and 3 days later the plumber, Roman, arrived. Roman was extremely friendly and very professional. My house is 100 years old so some areas were tight where he had to work but he didn’t complain and did a great job. I am a repeat customer and have always been happy with Goodman. Ask for Roman you won’t be disappointed.

I called early on Sunday morning. Some one came out with an hour to look at the situation. The price quote was a little steep but it ended up being worth it. the next morning Roman and his partner game out. They worked for the whole day to replace the system. They were very professional and cordial . They came back the next day when the furnace need aa adjustment. They even spent extra time fixing the special hookup in the bedroom. All in all a good job.

I had a slow leak in my upstairs bathroom under the sink/vanity that was dripping though my downstairs living room ceiling! They sent someone same day for a FREE assessment and estimate, which I very much appreciated since leaks are very scary... The technician came out to look and let me know that the leak appears to have happened in a flex hose that was underneath the floor. He told me he would have to lift out the current small vanity and cut out the floor to repair the leak. He suggested that since he would need to open the floor anyway, that we should extend the copper piping and properly install the flex hose under the sink and also repair the drain line to ensure there was no leak there. Overall, the technician that performed the work was stellar. He worked very hard to make sure everything looked just as it did before removing the vanity and correcting the leak. Everything looks great and the pipes are all now properly installed. The technician was very friendly, would absolutely use this company again.

Among the bad experiences I have had with contractors, what happened with Goodman Plumbers is in a category of its own as being an act of pure evil. This happened on September 17, 2018, five months ago, but I have been deliberately waiting to make sure the way the problem was ultimately solved did the trick. The background is as follows. Two workmen came to install a new washer, and to do so they turned off the house’s main water pipe. Old and much mended, the pipe burst from the pressure, spewing water everywhere until they turned off all the water in the house. It was already early evening and they began calling all the plumbers they knew to see who could come repair the pipe that very evening. The person who agreed to come (for $175) was Stan from Goodman Plumbers. He said I had the original iron pipes and this meant that a very large section of the pipe would have to be replaced. The cost? $2000. And he couldn’t do the job until the morning, so we’d have no water all night. He had me over a barrel and he knew it. It was getting late, people lived in the house, and I needed to put a solution in place. But $2,000 out of the blue? Somehow I found the strength to look him in the face and, to his great surprise, say no. Stan stormed out in a rage. The washing machine installers found me another plumber, who drove over. He was shocked by how Goodman Plumbers had handled the matter. He fixed the pipe for $450 with a repair that was far less radical and which, five months later, is working just fine.

The two serviceman were prompt professional and got it done very quickly. My only complaint is that as they were pulling into the driveway one of the gentleman through his cigarette butt out into the street

After trying to do the job myself, Roman and Shane were able to fit me into their schedule at the end of the day. They were able to get an old faucet out, put the new one in, and then repair the drain from sink to floor as well. They were very honest, responsible, and organized. I am always willing to recommend these plumbers to anyone!

The sewage pipe was clogged. Dirty water overflew in the basement. Usually, the basement is dry. It was smelly too. Goodman Plumbing found out the cause: roots from nearby trees. They resolved the problem quickly and efficiently and now everything works fine.

I called on a Saturday night, got an immediate response, was told to shut off the water (which i had done) and I had a Goodman service provider at my door early Sunday morning. It turns out I had a broken pipe in my kitchen that sent all the water to my basement. I think it was part of, or attached to my garbage disposal system. The service was quick, and professional by a worker named Nick H. who showed me the problem area and explained everything to me. I was extremely pleased and satisfied with Goodman's service and with Nick the plumber. Although I live in the suburbs, and had always used local services (none of which were available to help me on a weekend) and because of the timely, courteous and satisfying service, I have resolved to use Goodman for any future service needs. In addition I should also add that in spite of this being a weekend visit for emergency service, Goodman also honored the "Angies-List" discount coupon which I had as a member. The weekend with my guest continued almost as though nothing had happened, I thank you Goodman !!

Roman and his buddy Shane did an outstanding job replacing our water heater. They are outstanding plumbers, but don't ask them for medical advice.

Roman Boretsky called me back at 8am and asked for water heater model number and relayed he was heading over. Roman and assistant arrived and he quoted price and was straightforward with work needed (which I appreciate). Replacement was done within 2 hours. Roman was friendly and also sealed exhaust pipe connection to wall and unclogged exhaust pipe to prevent potential carbon monoxide issue. He also installed carbon monoxide detector. Those were both done at no charge. He also redeemed my $35 Angie’s list coupon. I value word of mouth recommendations, and would highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs.

Dennis, the plumber, called to let us know he was about 10 minutes away. We were ready when he arrived at 9:15 a.m. He assessed the problem both in the kitchen and in the line in the basement, which was leaking since the clog in the sink happened. He went to work straight away and cleared the kitchen stack line and snaked the line downstairs, as well to make sure it was completely open I would hire Goodman Plumbing again. The plumber was here on time and really knew what he was doing. He completed the job quickly, explained what he did and why, and was on his way. We were happy with the job Dennis did. I only called them on Friday morning and they would have come out that day, but I had to be at work, so we agreed to do it on Saturday.

I have mixed feelings but everything went well. They were on time and did the job. I just don't understand the price. Two laundry values and the job took 15 minutes. I checked the time it started I just assumed it was something more involved like cutting the pipe and soldering. It wasn't. Just screw off the old and screw on the new. If the values costed about $85 retail that leaves $200 labor for 15 minutes? Oh well. Live and learn I guess.

In both instances, Goodman Plumbing picked up the phone right away and I spoke to a real person on the other end. Each time the office assured me they would do the best they could to help me out, and they have surpassed my expectations on both occasions. Sean D. arrived quickly on the same day that I called, was so professional the entire time, and explained everything to me so I understood what my options were. I am so grateful for Goodman Plumbing and Sean for not only fixing my bathtub and ceiling, but also responding to my much more urgent call about helping remove my cat from the base of the toilet. They were professional and compassionate and I will be using them every time I need a plumber going forward.

Woke up to find that my hot water heater was leaking. Called Goodman plumbing for same day service and they were able to accommodate my request promptly. The service technician came out and quickly addressed the problem and fixed it without a problem. The price for same day service and resolving the issue was the best price I had found. I give this company and workers 10 out of 10 stars and would use them again if needed and would definitely recommend them
