Tl; dr: pretty friendly; workmanship may be good (I wouldn't know); admin unbelievably incompetent. Aug 30- Ron was very friendly and seemed to be ready to take our job. He told me about it was a family business for decades and the pride they take in their work. He asked me to send a photo of the property a few angles and I explained that no one was in the home currently; we lived elsewhere and wanted a railing to make it safe to rent. I sent him the photo we have by text; a few minutes later, he texted a quote and called to confirm what I want. He promised he would come by to measure and start manufacture in a few days. I asked him to send an official estimate, and he agreed. Sept 1- Having gotten no follow up, I texted and then called Ron. He asked me if I sent him a photo, and then asked again for my address-I had already done both these things. He described what he could do again; I told him that we'd agreed to it already. He seemed surprised to hear we'd spoken on the phone before, and was convinced only when I started telling him about his family business. He then said it was too close to the holiday now; he'd start after Labor Day. I agreed to call him back. Sept 7- Ron called me to ask me to spell my address again, and to ask me to describe the project again. I spelled it, and reiterated what we wanted, and our timeline. He promised it could be done on time, and that he'd be there Wed, or Thu at the latest. Sept 9- Having heard nothing, I called again. He said he couldn't get out to our property because it was raining. He asked me if I had sent a photo and received a quote yet. I said I had, we were just waiting for him to take the measurements. He asked me to send the information again and spell our address one more time. He asked me what our neighborhood was and how to get there; I repeated we weren't at the home and couldn't say much about the neighborhood. I sent him our address and photo again through text, though at this point we were looking for other contractors. Sept 10- Ron called me twice while I was at work. When I called him back, he said he couldn't come down because he didn't know if we were home. I repeated that we were not at this property; we wanted to rent it. Furthermore, the job was for the front porch; he didn't need to be let in to take measurements. He asked me to send a photo to get a quote; I said I had done all these things already twice. He said it was ridiculous to ask him to come at this point on a Friday; he'd come on Saturday when the traffic was better. He promised to send me a photo of him smiling on our porch as proof. Sept 11- I missed Ron's calls while on a hike. He left a message saying that our house was too far, an hour and a half from his office, so I should find someone else.

Everything was done very well. Great communication. Very good work. Prices were very reasonable.

Slight delays on original quote & cimpletion date. Overall project went well.

Ron was great showed up same day I called for estimate! He was very professional, and passionate about his work. He answered every question I had asked him. The railing he built in less than a week was beautiful, all my neighbors are jealous and want to replace their railings.

Ron came out for an estimate and we immediately scheduled installation after he gave us the price. It took one week in order to build step rail and it was installed right after it was ready. Ron was very professional and always answered in a timely fashion. We would recommend using them again.
