Funchal's Painting

The painter arrived at 9:30 and was done by 12pm. This included the first coat, time to dry and a second coat. The work was done precisely and no tape was needed on the walls. He was gracious and worked quietly and efficiently.

Nilton was a pleasure to speak with over the phone and entirely accommodating to my family's schedule. He was to begin at 9:00 a.m. and arrived precisely on time with an assistant. Both expertly painted the room, two coats, and the end result is beautiful. Most impressive is the fact that their work was so exacting, they did not need to tape the moldings of the doors, windows, ceiling and floor. We will definitely use Nilton again.

Nilton and his helper showed up exactly on time. They were really neat and careful with the painting and did a beautiful job. He was a pleasure to deal with and communication with him before he began was effortless.I WOULD DEFINITELY USE HIS COMPANY AGAIN.

The deck was larger than I originally thought. He gave me a price by email and I never heard from him again. What a ripoff!

These people were awesome. They came in on a big deal to paint one room which was VERY reasonable. It didn't include taking care of some of the dents in the wall or painting the ceiling, but for another $200 they took care of everything. It was a pretty large bedroom so the price was very reasonable and the work was great.

i got a coupon for the walls and ceiling but then I also asked them to do the doors, radiator, trim and a feature wall and so paid extra for that. The painters were incredibly polite and easy to deal with which is important when people are working on your home. They did a good job with the painting and accommodated me when I wanted to add items to the job. They were thorough and prompt and flexible, i would hire them again.

Nilton was wonderful: was able to come right away, was totally professional, was lovely to have around, and did such an excellent job, I asked him to come back and do three more rooms.

Nilton was very professional. His assistant a young man also worked with him. Both were neat , clean and very efficient. They met my time constraint needs and finished the job in a timely manner. I am now using him to power wash my deck.

The experience was exemplary from start to finish. I received a call shortly before the painter arrived, letting me know that he was on his way. He arrived on time and promptly began to work. He was quiet, professional and meticulous and quickly finished all three rooms. There was no mess left behind, and other than three beautifully painted rooms, there was no evidence he was even there. I can't speak highly enough of the experience and I would absolutely hire this company again for the rest of my painting needs.

He went above and beyond what was asked of him to do additional work that we had not initially agreed to. For anyone looking to make somewhat soiled and tired walls look nice again Nilton is a great bet and at a very reasonable price. He does not push you to get the whole house freshly painted and instead sticks to what is requested. Most other people I showed asked that I repaint the entire house. I was able to have my house looking new at 1/10 of the cost. Thank you Nilton

Nilton did an excellent job repairing the water damaged master bathroom ceiling and door trim. He replaced/repaired the loose and crumbled taping, joint compound and paint. Dryed the repaired area in between compound coats. Then he sanded and prepped the ceiling and door trim for painting and then painted ceiling, door and trim. He vacuumed up all the joint compound dust and scrapped paint in the bathroom and surrounding bedroom. Very neat and very clean.

He was great. Right on time, was done quickly. Very neat and polite. Is going to send us a quote on some additional work.

Came with helper. They worked quickly and neatly disposing of waste afterwards.

I was contacted right away and set up a day to perform the painting. They arrived on time, were professional and worked neatly and quickly, but did a great job.

Nilton did an amazing job. He made the walls look completely new again. Nilton removed the wallpaper and repainted the entire room. He arrived on time and ready to work and was very professional. He charged extra for the wall paper removal, and of course you have to provide you own paint, but overall, it was very inexpensive.

They are fantastic! Their prices are good, they clean up after themselves and show up when they say they will! They are very pleasant to work with.

Milton and his partner showed up on time, prepped and painted without any muss or fuss. They were done in about 6 hours, as he had estimated. Polite, professional and punctual. They were simply perfect!

Nilton emailed me 2 nights before my scheduled appointment and told me he would arrive between 830-9. He showed up on time at 830. I had a bedroom that needed some painting over wallpaper. I had plastered the walls the night before and Nilton had no problem sanding the walls for me that morning. The walls had been painted black which is in my opinion a very difficult color, Nilton was able to paint the walls and leave CLEAN lines. It looks perfect!! Will definitely be using them again!

My husband was concerned because he must be able to work in his study with minimal interruption.(He is a professor.) Nilton assured us he could complete everything in one day and have the study back together. My husband was skeptical. 1. Nilton brought a second painter. They moved the furniture, protected everything, repaired the large cracks in the ceiling and walls, painted the ceiling with his paint, did 2 coats on the walls with our paint. He had minimal questions and they only took a 10 minute break because I insisted. 2. They came early as we agreed and were out of the house with everything finished, cleaned up (brought his own small vacuum), and furniture back in place by 2 PM (before my husband came home from class). The project gave us opportunity to edit what went back on the floor to ceiling bookcases! 3. Before he left, I asked Nilton to prepare an estimate for me for painting the living room and dining room. He has sent it. It is reasonable, and as soon as we can afford it, we will call him to come back.

Everything went along extremely well. The house looked brand new after the paint job. They responded by being on time and were very neat in their prosfessional approach. The project took (5) full days to complete.Our home looks brand new on their skill and expertise in painting. We would use them again aa painter's for our home.

Contractor was prompt, professional and did a very job at a reasonable price. Would definitely use again and recommend.

Nilton was very professional and did an excellent job. We needed exterior staining, internal wall repair and interior painting and the work is exemplary. He was responsive to what we needed and I would highly recommend him

The team did an AMAZING job!! The walls looks PERFECT. All patch work and mesh crack repair was done perfectly. The walls are perfectly smooth and look like new. We were very pleased and will definitely use Funchal's Painting again. Everyone was very friendly. The job was completed in a timely manner and they were great with clean up.
