Salesman disappeared after sale and handed us over to a construction coordinator. They needed a four month lead time and when we had to postpone construction they were helpful in accommodating our problems. They showed up a day early while we were trying to prepare the site- a problem. The crew was efficient but crude and abusive. The coordinator should have been there to supervise on site problems and previously decided modifications. I had to be firm with the rude crew chief and explain modifications. One year later the glass seams leak despite phone calls. Neither the manufacturer nor the construction company are helpful on finishing the solar room. They seem unacknowledged and not proactive in giving ideas on heating, air cond. electrical, flooring, furnishing, etc. The active philosophy is we make it, install it and now you're on your own. The final 10% was due after completion. Although all suggested payments were made before due we received a thuggish phone call for the final balance. The site was left a mess and not finished requiring our family to complete. Flashing was not professionally done and the point of the atrium did not blend well into the house. The supervisor was eventually separated. The manufacturer couldn't answer any questions and was aggravated by consumer inquiries. We paid a lot of money and eventually this atrium will be finished by us. I would look for other installers and ask consumers if they were satisfied.
Description of Work: Erected large solar room- atrium.
