I used this company last year to clean my gutters. They did a good job and did the job for $120. When I called earlier today and spoke to Jan (one of the owners I believe), he seemed to remember where I lived and asked what he charged me last year. When I told him $120, he said I probably do not need to have the gutters cleaned. What? I reminded him I have woods in my back yard and need to have them cleaned at least yearly. He then told me he would do it for $200, and with the price of gas and groceries nowadays that was a bargain. I did not follow his logic but did ask him what else has gone up 67% in the last year. He had no answer. I would have gladly paid an increase over last year, but 67% is unreasonable. Unfortunately for Jan, he does not appear to get the big picure. In fact, my house is due for a new roof shortly. Jan went from first on my list to last in terms of companies I would call to do the new roof. So, his 67% increase in price to clean my gutters and his baffling logic lost him much more than a gutter cleaning job. Moreover, I tend to spread the word about good and poor service I receive. So, within a month or two, many will know about the less than spectacular experience I had with Jan and his company.

Fox & Sons Roofing Co is run by two brothers. They took it over from their father. They do an excellent job. They have excellent mechanics and they are quick. They do what they have to do. They gave me the silver coating and to keep the warranty in check. Every four years they give you a coating. I had one problem with the vent pipe. I think that was the second or the third time I used them. It rained and they came the very next day and took care of the problem. That was the only problem I ever had. I have seen some roofing in my time, in my younger days. I would not have been happy with the vent pipe coming out of the roof. They are reasonable. I cannot say enough about them. I have recommended them to all my friends and family. I would use them in the future.
