Description of Work: I had a partial kitchen renovation:new counters, sink, and faucet installed. Drywall installed where a mirrored backsplash had been. Plumbing and electrical work needed to be done. I am very happy with the job. Frank returned all phone calls promptly and showed up when he said he would. When the job was finished, there was a minor plumbing leak. It took 2 trips to fix it, but it was taken care of immediately. That's the ultimate test.

The price/value for the job they did was excellent. Other providers were quoting significantly higher prices and hard to see how they would have done it any better

+ 4 moreFrank communicated with me throughout the process of establishing a beginning and completion date. On the beginning date his worker was prompt, discussed what he was doing with me and informed me when he had to leave. The big job was completed in four days with a total of five workers at different times doing different jobs. A few small pieces of work were completed later when it wasn't raining. One remaining issue is whether his carpenter dug out one board when he set up his power washer. I observed problems with getting the washer started. Frank returned to paint the tunneled areas. However, one tunnel has returned and been extended. Whether the board was weakened by his carpenter thereby opening it up to a wood-eating insect or whether the insects were present in the board before the work began is an issue over which we disagree. I shall ask my exterminator to examine the step, identify the insect, explain what draws it to a particular piece of wood and recommend the best procedure for correcting the situation. On another occasion I asked Frank to walk around the house with me and recommend work that needed to be done in the future. He made helpful suggestions.

+ -1 moreI reached out to First Class Home Renovators to replace a bathroom faucet that had gone from an intermittent drip to an outright downpour! Enticed by the Big Deal, I made swift arrangements for what had been a five-day vexing issue. Frank responded to my email after-hours and we texted back and forth with coordinates for the next day. They were actually able to come earlier than initially projected. Unforeseen issues arose, given to the age and position of the sink. Brandon had to put in a little more legwork than the certificate called for, but the hourly charge applied and wasn't killer. I ran out and got the parts, and by the time I got back, he was able to pop it all together. Voila! A sink devoid of a drip! Water is back on and life has returned to normal! They were completely courteous and explained the process from the beginning to the end. Brandon cleaned up the trash behind him. I will definitely be adding them to my repair Rolodex for future work as they clearly met my Angie's List expectations!

+ 1 moreFrank came out the same day that we called (at night). He assessed the problem and came back the next day with his plumber and repaired the leak. Frank suggested we wait for a few days to be sure that the leak was truly repaired and would not re-occur. He came back on the time we had scheduled and promptly and with quality work, removed the bad portion of ceiling, and replaced it. I honestly had no idea what this kind of repair would cost and was pleasantly surprised by the final cost. First Class was such a good experience that they are now our first option for any other work that might pop up.
Description of Work: We had a slowly leaking toilet that had probably been leaking for quite a while. It eventually worked its way down to the 1rst floor ceiling and we had some water damage and mold. Frank completely repaired everything.

He did such a great job, that I have called him for everything since. He's the first person I call when my tenants call with a problem. He's been punctual, reliable, he responds quickly and it's cost efficient for me. He oftens offers up other options if I'm trying to save money. He really is my go-to handyman.
Description of Work: Frank has done everything for me from: painting; putting up backsplash, fixing holes in my french doors; fixed loose stones on the outside of the house, installed a dishwasher, fixed the outdoor flood lights and stained the deck.

They were very professional and discussed some of the issues involved with the renovation. I received an estimate by email within one business day. Frank also contacted me a few days after sending the estimate. The estimate given matched the dollar amount of another plumber I had used previously, so I decided to retain my existing plumber. I would consider using First Class Home Renovations in the future.
Description of Work: The contractor and his plumber scheduled an on site inspection of my home and emailed me with an estimate for plumbing renovations.

+ 1 moreEmailed Frank on a Sunday afternoon and he responded immediately, and even came the next day to give an estimate. Overall, it took about 1 full day and 2 half days to complete the work. Frank and Steve were both on time, every time, and worked very quickly and efficiently. Their work is high quality and top notch. Frank always responded right away, and showed up when he said he would show up. They did not leave the job until everything was completed and I was satisfied with the end product. I will absolutely hire them again as soon as we have more projects.

+ 9 moreI have had them do other work in my house and would not use any other contractor. They are always on time, give accurate estimates, and do the work correctly.
Description of Work: Frank did my basement after another company did substandard work. He fixed their work and added additional touches that made the room picture perfect. I then used his company to completely remodel my entire first floor ( new kitchen, remodel powder room, breakfast room, dinning room, living room and hallway. I get a lot of compliments on the work. The work involved drywall, carpentry, plumbing, tile, crown molding, cabinet installation, appliance installation, redo of hardwood floors. Friends say it looks like a home done by one of those tv remodeling shows.

Description of Work: I have used Frank on 3 occasions so I am going to detail my experience in general rather than each specific incident. Frank is my go to guy when I need help with anything to do with handywork, plumbing etc. There are many things I appreciate about his service. First, he is forward thinking with technology. I can just text him when I need something and he responds immediately. Last time he was at a Xmas party when I texted him and he responded! He is always professional and punctual. One job he did for me was to lay quarter round around the perimeter of my great room. Another time he fixed my garbage disposal (for a measly $25!). He's hung artwork, fixed stuff etc. I trust him enough to leave him a key and allow him to do work when I am not there like the time he installed my big screen TV. He always comes prepared with tools etc and is a pleasure to work with - friendly and diligent. I always think a job will take twice as long as it takes Frank - he is super efficient. He is also just a heck of a nice guy! I have come to really appreciate and rely on Frank's assistance as I am a single woman living alone. I have recommended him to all my friends and they too have hired him and found him to be first rate.

Frank is extremely knowledgable and always had great ideas and provided a vision to how everthing would look when finished. When talking about the job you knew that he knows what hes doing and the best possible way to do it. Steve is a very valuable asset and together they worked great and got the job done on time and were very clean and curteous. Our bathroom Tile looks AMAZING!!! The interior painting they did is nothing short of Great!! Frank even recommended an accent wall in our Dining area that we are now in Love with!! When all the work was complete Frank and Steve even took care of some Handyman stuff that we needed done and again they knocked it out the park!!! They tackled every task we had with ease and EXPERINCE!!! We will be using them again for sure!
