Everything went great! Frank was great to work with! He was very accommodating with my schedule. My son stayed with him during the work and helped him with holding the faucet on the outside while he worked on the inside. The job was done quickly and because we had challenges when we initially tried to connect for this job, he gave me a discount and only charged me for materials! I hope to get him to do more work for me in the near future!

FCHR ....(Frank Bianco) was efficient and appreciated. He was knowledgeable about what needed to be done, skilled craftsman and professional. On top of this, Frank handled everything in a timely fashion. His price quote was reasonable and he and his crew showed up on time everyday and they cleaned up their work area. What more could one ask for when hiring a contractor to repair and replace mistakes made by the previous builder ! Most of the six jobs required carpentry skills plus sound insulation of a row house wall. I will keep Frank's phone number handy for any and all future jobs. Frank and his team were wonderful! They offered a competitive price, were flexible with scheduling, and their work is very high quality. After quoting me to replace a tub converter, which should have been a really simple job, when he arrived he brought a plumber (who was also very nice) just in case the job turned into more than expected. When they started removing the converter, they realized that the pipe was soft copper so it was twisting up. They had to replace the entire pipe and then Put on the new converter. I was extremely impressed that Frank thought ahead to bring a plumber and they were able to finish the larger job within an hour. Is have no complaints with any of their work. I will definitely use Frank for anything we need in the future!

Overall excellent experience. Frank was prompt and timely in his estimate and scheduling services. Frank and his guys were polite and professional, and did the work in a timely manner. The only reason I rated the price a B instead of an A was because it was more than I anticipated, but the pricing was fair. I would definitely use Frank and First Class again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and neighbors.

Everything went great. The guys were very careful to cover floors and areas that could get dirty. They were nice to have in the house, and worked consistently and conscientiously. When there was a small issue that came up (and there is always an issue that comes up in renovations!), Frank was very responsive and addressed the problem immediately and to my satisfaction. You can't ask for more than that. I've had several contractors come and work on my house, and First Class Home Renovations is at the top of my list to call for any further work. I have already asked Frank to come back and measure the basement windows to be replaced. I am extremely pleased with their work.

The contact person at the company was Frank. I had limited availability that month for the install but Frank was able to work with me for one of my open dates. For that I was grateful because I had two leaking toilets and I didn't want to have to wait another month until I had a free day for installation. However, Frank made it clear that he was displeased that I had purchased three toilet installs when the deal in the fine print was for only one. He stated that he would "accommodate me" but that next time he would "insist that Angie' List return the money." In my opinion, this was an issue between Angie's List and Frank. I was permitted to purchase three units of a big deal, and if Frank took issue with it he should have been communicating directly with Angie's List and not with me. The toilet install itself went beautifully. Brandon was prompt, effective, polite, and clean. Despite Frank's poor attitude, I would use his services again because Brandon stated that his services and renovations were excellent.

I installed a NEW bathtub which is very nice overall but the pipes needed to be reinstalled tighter. They did a great job and it took under an hour no more leaking!

Frank gave us an estimate, we accepted it and settled on a start date. He showed up when he said he would, and got the work done as well and quickly as he could. (There was at least one snow storm in the middle of the process that delayed things). The job involved flooring, painting, carpentry and electric, and Frank and crew handled it all. A last minute request of a built-in shelf was handled quickly and redone when Frank wasn't happy with the outcome. It's never wonderful to have workmen in the house, but Tom was a pleasure. We're extremely happy with the work done by Frank and his team, and with his responsiveness to our questions. We will continue to keep him in mind for future projects.

The estimate was too high for my pocketbook, but the company was very prompt with the estimate.

I was able to schedule a plumber to come out about a week and a half after my first contact with the company. Plumber arrived on time. It took him about half an hour to replace the faucet, so it felt like I actually ended up paying more than if I hadn't purchased the "deal." Plus, it's apparently extra ($180 extra)to get the matching drain that came with my new faucet installed, so the drain and fixture don't match. The sink works fine, but one handle is much higher than the other - I was told there's nothing that could be done - and the fixtures don't match, so I'm not incredibly pleased with this work. The plumber was okay, but he listened to his headphones the entire time he was at my house - including when I was speaking to him, so I don't give them high points for professionalism either.

We never did a walk through. Frank does not know what he is doing. He made amateur and big mistakes that are very costly. Everything was a big deal to him and constantly slamming and banging and I bought quality materials and paid for all fixtures. He also uses vulgar language. He now says I still owe him $2500.00 more. I have already given him $8400.00 and the Job is not even finished. He is the worst contractor I have ever hired. He does not want to take responsibility for anything.

Unfixable. I tried to do the job myself, but didn't trust that I wouldn't make it worse. I called First Class Home Renovations for help, figuring that they were probably overloaded with huge last minute calls. They were. Frank worked around their already full schedule to get somebody to our house the morning of Xmas Eve so we wouldn't be without a kitchen sink on the holiday. Big thanks to Frank and his crew for their juggling act. I will be calling on them again.

The provider was extremely punctual, courteous, pleasant and knowledgeable -- a real winner. The work was performed without fanfare and done correctly. He also gave me some tips (free of charge!!!) on how to deal with my garbage disposal that was acting up. I am extremely pleased with the service and would definitely use them again!

Frank is great. Very responsive via text. His tech (Drew) is great to - he is a vet with a purple heart. Very fair price as well. They came out to install a new toilet that I had not opened. The new toilet was shipped to me via Amazon and was busted in many pieces. Unfortunately I did not open the box before they came so I caused them to make two trips , which Frank was fair on the price for the return trip. Even after the work Frank called to let me know how to avoid the backup. Frank and Drew went the extra mile and took the old toilet and placed it in the loading dock area of my condo building which was appreciated so when I came home I didn't need to mess with disposal. Highly recommend Frank and Drew for their fair business dealings and responsiveness.

He originally he quoted us at $170, but later said it would be an additional $70. I asked him to provide me with a hardcopy invoice that I paid in full, explaining what he did. I had to call him to remind him to send the invoice. He sent it as an email attachment. I was unable to open it. I asked him to please send it in the mail or fax it and after three attempts he still will not get back in touch with me.

Fantastic. Frank called and was thorough, even called me after the install to discuss how to keep the clog from coming back. Great experience.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out very well. The person who came out to install the garbage disposal was very good, friendly and gave us advice on some other plumbing issues.

I had the good fortune to meet up with the dudes of First Class Home Renovations about a month before when I needed a sink faucet replaced and took advantage of an Angie's List Big Deal. In chatting with them, I mentioned that I had a water heater that probably would need to go soon, and I'd keep them in mind. They took a look and cited a price. Sure enough, one fated night a month later, the darned thing collapsed, sending water all over the basement floor. That meant turning off the water from the source and being stranded . . . until I called the reliable team at First Class. I left a voicemail and sent an email, to which I received an immediate response from Frank. They came the next day, did an efficient job, cleaned the mess from the previous heater as well as trucked it from the basement. Because the chimney also is old (noting a theme?), there was some back up that could have caused danger in relighting the pilot. They cleaned that up as well -- saving me from potential carbon monoxide poisoning -- and restoring hot water to my home. Brilliant!

He did a fabulous job replacing a toilet, unclogging a shower, replacing faucets and overall trouble-shooting. What a relief to have someone so capable!

Brandon arrived at the scheduled time, actually a little earlier which was good for me. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He didn't mind answering my questions. The work was completed in a timely manner.

Found the problem quickly and repaired the Therma coupling. Frank Bianco is an excellent handyman. My first experience with him was painting my kitchen after a pipe had burst. He did a wonderful job and was always at the house when he said he would be. He stays in touch, answers all my (many) questions, and is very responsive. He also hung my front security door, and did the venting for my dryer (awesome job!!!!)

The job went very well. Frank kept us up to date on the order and the work was professionally installed. The crew is polite and cleans up after the work is completed. We have used Frank Bianco for a previous job that involved installing new shower and tile work. Again, we were extremely pleased. We will definitely use this company again.

Frank was great, upon first contact, he was at my house within hours to evaluate the situation. We booked him to fix the leak in the copper pipe, add an outdoor outlet and my wife threw in hanging a cabinet in our bathroom that I've been neglecting to do for weeks. Frank sent his plumber over who did a phenomenal job. He replaced two elbows, one of them being an old galvanized to copper collar. The solder was very clean and well done. The electrician came later in the day to run the outdoor outlet and hang a cabinet. They used a PVC conduit which was nice because it blends in with the stone on the side of our house, I'm actually going to go back and paint it with some rock simulation krylon, but for now it blends nicely. The electrician hung the cabinet for us, he used drywall screws to do so and it held well, however I had tapcons that were twice as long I bought so it could have some extra grip since it's an older soft brick wall. Frank caught wind of this and personally stopped by to rehang the cabinet using the Tapcons himself. Frank is a stand up guy who will go out of his way to make sure you're satisfied. Stellar service and I will be keeping Frank on speed dial for anything we may need done around the house!
