Horrible! I own a property management company and we tried them out once - Just Once! Never again! This was for a duplex that had a professional install of hardwired smoke detectors installed. The very 1st words out of the technician's mouth was: "just so you know, I'm going to fail you. I fail 90-100% of all properties". He showed up wearing cut-off sweat pants and he was extremely rude. He and the assistant he brought with him kept smearing the wet plaster and paint throughout. The contractors I had working there might be right - its unclear if the assistant even spoke english as we couldn't get him off of a wet wall. At the end the tech told me it was a fail; unless I was going to hire them to do further work. Shocker!

Overall very poor service. 1. When I first signed up, I was told my setup or "cut-over fees" would be waived. They weren't. I called the office to complain but never heard back. So I just moved on. 3. I paid a fee to have my system inspected only to learn that smoke detectors were out of date, at the of the inspection from the local fire chief . I know this because I had after I had a fire at my house which the detectors did not detect. ---> When I called the office to complain about this, they never called me back. 3. My system is now being held hostage, and unless I pay a $95 "unlock" fee, they will not release the installer code to me. They know that my only option is to pay them or the system is useless, but hide behind some sort lame "those codes are our proprietary information". Very scary company.

We had some difficulty with the system when it was first installed. We had difficulty with the telephone lines. It was hit by lighting twice. They ended up installing a radio frequency system and that seems to be fine. We are considering getting a second system in a separate building. One of their salesmen did not seem responsive and was unable to answer my questions. He seemed to have a problem with me because I am female. You can request another salesman and the second salesman did end up getting my questions answered. We had someone out 3 days ago to replace the battery that was under warranty.

Tried to use old system as the house was already wired for another company but had not been activated in several years. Came three times to try and do that but in the end was unable to and had to install a new system. There was some confusion about what they were to install and when they were to come when it was finally decided that we would do a new system but Pat (the owner) was very accomodating and professional the entire time and he stood by his quote even though they ended up doing more work then originally agreed upon.

Generally excellent. One glitch - the tech did not arrive for the first scheduled appointment. They called, but since I didn't answer I was mowing the lawn), they didn't arrive (thinking no one was home). I called the VP to complain, and he said "sorry - when would work for you?" He installed it himself, working 4-8 pm on a Friday evening. In the first six months a family friend accidently set off the alarm, we were immediately called. When the electricity went out, we were called at 1am to advise us that the battery backup had kicked in. So, follow up has been terrific.
Description of Work: I had several estimates to review the system I had and possibly install an alarm system in my house. The large companies wanted to drill holes and pull wire for a whole new system, and the house already contained a wireless system (previous owner) that was not currently operational. The big companies implied that there would be issues with a wireless system. Plus there was a heavy-handed sales pitch that I wasn't comfortable with. Fidelity was the only company that would consider using the system already in the house. The co-owner of Fidelity arrived on time for an estimate and spent about an hour assessing the system. $325 covered a new board by the circuit box, a new battery backup, and about four new sensors. The system was then brought online for remote monitoring. When we went to test the new system it turned out that the siren was broken, so he threw in a new one in at no charge.
