The service went really well. They did a great job of manuvering around my pets to complete job. The contractors were very friendly and the salesman Todd Curry came to my home to educate us on what we needed.

Our home is an award-winning restored Victorian. I love the old prairie-style grids, and the wavy glass. But this window was failing and we had to replace it with a new one, made to match. Gus and Qunicy did the installation in a few hours -- they were punctual, professional, and respectful of the home. After they carefully removed the old window, they carried it downstairs, where we keep old windows and doors for other projects and uses. They did a great job installing the window and working with the slight pitch created by 120 years of settling. The new window is so beautiful I don't want to obscure it with curtains -- previously, we'd replaced some windows with Weathershield wooden thermal windows, which also mimic the prairie grid, but they are clunky compared to this window. Not only does it work beautifully, it is elegant and aesthetically in keeping with the fine woodwork of a century ago. Everyone I've met from this company exhibits an artist's appreciation of the materials they work with, as well as a 21st Century level of energy and technical ability. I hope to do more windows in this house, and I would recommend the company without reservation.

A representative name Todd came out and performed a review of what we were wanting to do and took measurements. He said that he would mail us an estimate for the project and we would receive it in a few days, but I have yet to receive it. I called and spoke with the receptionist on February 8th to find out what was going on and she said that they would have someone call us back by Monday the 13th. I have still yet to receive an estimate or a phone call from this company. I'm very dissapointed in the responsiveness of this company.

Great! Company was on-time, polite, courteous and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and left by lunchtime. Windows appear to be high-quality and well installed.

We were looking for a cost-effective solution for 13 windows in our home. Todd was very punctual in his initial visit, didn't take more than 20 minutes (unlike those other contractors that come to your house and won't leave for 2 hours) and provided a proposal within 48 hours. Emerald's prices were very competitive and there weren't the usual "nickel-n-dime" extras that always seem to crop-up and infuriate homeowners. The measurements were taken accurately and quickly. The team showed up on-schedule and was able to replace all 13 windows in one day. No surprises. They were neat, thorough and so far, the windows have made a significant diference in the comfort of our home.Everyone's situation is different, but Emerald Windows did a professional job from the initial visit to the installation.

Todd arrived timely with direct, no nonsense estimate. We got five other estimates and chose Emerald for price, presentation, and responsiveness. One other provider (Clifton) was rejected only because it was difficult to get them on the phone. The windows were ready to install ahead of schedule. The installers (Gill, Quincy, and Brendon) arrived on time and got right to work. They said it might take all day, but they were finished by about 12:30. The installation looks perfect, and they left the areas cleaner than they found them. If we decide to replace the front door, we will definitely use Emerald.

The service was great! From the start I was impressed. Todd was quite nice arriving in the early morning twice. The first to inspect the house to give a quote and then the second time with the head carpenter for precise measuring of the windows once I decided to go with them. It really helped that I didn't have to take time out of my day as that can be hard to do. Todd was a patient and friendly guy, whom I was happy to give business to. Gil and the rest of the installation crew arrived on time and quickly snapped into action. They worked quite efficiently and definitely knew what to do. They finished a few hours earlier than projected and Gil gave me a walk through of all the work they did along with how the windows work and even gave me some pointers on some of the other projects I need to tackle in my old house. The best thing was that the neighbors were quite impressed about Emerald as they noticed how efficient they worked, along with how respectful they were with at cleaning up the outside.

Overall I was very satisfied with Emerald Windows, my communications with them and their work quality were v. good. I heard about them from Craig's list and visited their showroom in N. Philly. Paul took time to show me the range of vinyl windows available and the pros and cons of each. I choose the 8500 series. More importantly he explained the installation and capping process and from that I gained confidence that one of his teams would do it well. This turned out to be correct. Gil and his crew spent two days installing and capping. At the end of the process I did a walk through with Gil, and also checked all the windows which opened and closed easily. Gil was very attentive and made sure that I was satisfied with the installation - I was. We have now arranged with them to come back and install a door.

Called Emerald Windows for an estimate to install six windows. Company responded immediately and arranged for a representative to come to my house and provide an estimate at a time that was convenient for me. Estimate was reasonable. The installers arrived at the time I was told that they would be at my house and were very courteous and professional. I am very satisfied with the quality of work and wolud highly recommend Emerald Windows to anyone who is interested in having windows installed. i plan to use Emeral Windows in the future.

This is a follow up to a previous installation. One window remained that had not been replaced by Emerald. We finally got around to replacing this last remaing old window. I was told that Emerald would be at my home at 9:00am sharp. Actually , they arrived at 8:30qm, a half hour early. Once again they went right to work did an impeccable job and returned the dining room furniture after they had finished. There was no clean up neccessary for me. I greatly appreciate Emerald's quality products and its workers. This is a no brainer. I highly recommend them.

A great job, well done! Everyone was super professional, friendly and conscientious. Kudos to Todd, Paul, Gil, Quincy, Brandon, and everyone else whose name I have forgotten. The windows and doors are beautiful! They took the time to make sure I was comfortable evey step along the way. Very neat too.

Their estimate was reasonable. They worked with us on the design of the window/bookcase, and they were very accommodating and professional. We particularly like that they would not be discarding the french door to a landfill. They would be reusing it in a building that that they are reconstructing. The crew that came to replace the door and install the window/bookcase was punctual, friendly and efficient. We are happy with the result.

They arrived on time, a large crew, were polite and professional throughout. The installation was well done, and clean up was good. I'm very happy with the quality of the windows and would use emerald again. Communication had its lags here and there but overall was much better than what I've experienced with comparable services. Very customer oriented.

I am another satisfied customer of Emerald Windows. They just finished replacing historical wooden windows in my home. Paul provided a quick and accurate estimate for the job. They applied for the permits with the historical society and completed the work in three days as promised. The quality of the windows and work is excellent. They identified a few extra minor issues during installation and took care of them as well. Gil, and his crew were extremely professional, considerate and clean. I would definitely use them again and strongly urge anyone considering replacement windows to give them a call.

I am very happy with Emerald. The sales guy, Todd, came out promptly and gave a good price for installing new windows. He did all the work with the historical commission and knew exactly which products would satisfy them for our home. We placed an order and his guys came out on the scheduled date. They removed our old sashes (they reuse them for various cool projects like dividing large studio spaces into smaller workspaces, which I dig) and installed the new sash kits in about 4 hours. They worked with much attention to detail. The results are exactly what I expected. Evidently Emerald is a pretty small company. The owner stopped by during the job. Without introducing himself as the owner, he asked me how the job was going and if I was happy. Only after he left did one of the guys on the job tell me who he was. I liked that. I highly recommend Emerald.

I contacted Emerald Windows through Angie's list. The salesman, Todd, responded very timely and we set up an appt. He was very personable, professional and knowledgeable about windows. He provided me with a brochure, but did not bring any samples for my viewing. Todd seemed very efficient and on the ball. Emerald's was my very first appointment, so I had not had a chance to research much about windows at the time we met. Todd answered all my questions and provided additional information that would be useful to consumers. Based on my stated needs, he suggested the American Craftsman 8500 window. On salesmanship, professionalism, reputation and customer reviews alone, Emerald was most impressive. I did not choose them, however, because their quote was significantly higher than those I received from other companies offering higher quality, energy efficient windows per NFRC ratings/standards. Emerald seems to be a good company to work with though.

Todd made the first visit to review the job, suggest a number of alternatives and provide the estimate which arrived within a day via email. Once we decided to proceed, he and Paul made another visit to double check measurements, materials, etc. and confirmed everything we discussed in an email so tht there would be no misunderstanding. The two installers, Gil and Damond, were a dream team! They were professional, punctual and pleasant - and, they not only left the work area cleaner than they found it (shame on us!), but also made sure we knew how to work the windows. We are now thinking of replacing other windows and would, of course, call Emerald to do the job. We recommend them to others without any reservations.

This is the second time we've used Emerald (the first was June '10 for new windows in the dining room) and this new job in the basement went just as smoothly. It took about a day and a half to complete. The workers were friendly and professional. I was home on the second day and they called me over periodically to show me know how things were progressing. The finished work looks great and they cleaned up everything when they were done. Todd really goes above and beyond. When he learned that the supplier he was using lost their energy rebate status, he discounted our order by the amount we would've gotten a tax rebate for. When there was a minor error with the final bill, he came to our house that day with the correction. We will definitely be using Emerald Windows again in the future.

The representative contacted me promptly . He set a date to inspect the work and give an estimate. Mr Stone was professional and gave detailed descriptions of the worked required. He explained all problems that could be encountered;which I appreciated. All work was done professionally and neatly. The workers arrived on time. I am pleased with the work done and would recomend the company plus use them again.

We decided to not purchase because the price was quite high, but were extremely impressed by the high level of professionalism and punctuality. A credit to the business.

He provided an accurate estimate within 24 hours of looking at the work, and even though I used his services several months later, he not only located the estimate, but remembered the property and specs without even viewing it. His team of workers were on time, completed with work effectively and efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves, even tidying up my front porch though the mess there was not of their making. They ensured I fully understood the operations, and provided all the documentation I needed for a tax credit. I would recommend this company unconditionally.
