Dan, Ben and John arrived at my home and each of them were professional, courteous and very friendly. Ben has a great sense of humor and even scored himself a delicious serving of my husband's trademark seafood salad. Ben began laying down drop cloths and cardboard to protect the floors. He even covered decorative items on my dining room table with plastic. The same care was taken in the upstairs office space where the other repairs were completed. John and Dan even moved the desk in the office space closer to the window that I had it which opened up more space in the room. Todd told me that the all of the work would be done by 4:30pm and the guys beat his time by ten minutes. I had work done by window wizards on other windows in the past, and Dan pointed out that window wizards didn't caulk around the windows the way they should have and he corrected that issue as well. When the guys were done working, they vacuumed and swept up behind themselves, leaving the work area very neat. My repairs took place on a very cold day which cause one of the new window latches to crack rather easily. Dan made me aware of the situation and has assured me that he will be back out in the near future(at my earliest convenience) to replace the latch which will only take 5-10 mins. I appreciate his honesty. I will be using Emerald windows for any future window replacements and repairs. I would highly recommend their services.

Excellent from start to finish. Todd's proposal was competitively priced and professionally prepared. The windows were installed seven weeks from order date. The installation took place over a three day period. The crew arrived promptly each morning and did a great job of cleaning up at the end of each day.

They did a fantistic job the told me originally the job would take 1 1/2 days but they sent extra guys out on the day of the job and completed the job in 1 day. I must say Gil and his crew were exceptional not missing any detail from the installation to the final clean up.

Finished in about 3 hours. Employees very pleasant and assisted in moving some equipment.

We found Emerald on Angies List. We called and made an appointment with their estimator, Todd Curry. Todd came out and specked the job. He was polite, professional and accomodating (I had my heart set on a specific style of security door, and Todd found it for me, though he had to do some research, and we chose an unusual style of window). He got an estimate to us in a timely manor. We made a down payment of 33% and were told that it would be about 6 weeks for the windows and doors to be made. It took a little longer than that (about 8 weeks), and I called to check at that point. Todd told me that the windows were expected in shortly and we coordinated a time for the installation. He said it would take 3 days. Emerald's League-of-Nations crew arrived on time, were polite, clean and respectful of us and our space. They finished the job in 2 and half days. There was one problem; the door had been installed backwards which interfered with its opening. A crew came out at our earliest convenience and reinstalled the door. We were very pleased with Emerald's work and would not hesitate to recommend them.

When Todd came over to give us an estimate, he was professional, informative, and not pushy at all (a contrast with some other sales reps!). He very quickly gave us several estimates to help us make a decision, and was extremely responsive (and patient) in tailoring those estimates to meet our evolving needs. The crew was on time to the minute, extremely professional and friendly (even reminding me to take my umbrella since it was supposed to rain on the day of installation). Their workmanship seems excellent and precise, and they left the place spotless after they were done.

i have a south philly rowhouse that was in desperate need of new windows - in total, 15 windows. one of them was real screwed up. the previous owners had turned it into a permanent sleeve for an air conditioner and raised the window above it. it was a true disaster. the rest were old aluminum replacement windows from the 70s and some old, tired storm windows. after dealing with all of the yellow-pagers (power windows and siding, windowizards - who i actually asked to leave), i finally decided to call emerald based on a reference from a friend. todd came out and assessed the situation. he was really polite and very informative. within a day we had a quote (with discount for multiple installed). we left our deposit and within 2 weeks we were having them installed. they took 2 days. they were very clean about it. and probably the nicest bunch of guys you'll ever have out to work on your house. not only have we seen an improvement in our interior environment and electrical bill, but these windows look great. gil is a master at this. the effort they put into the capping / flashing was outstanding. once the windows were installed, we decided to go with emerald for our new front door. we picked our door, had it ordered within a week or so. it took about 3 weeks to get here, but it was well worth the wait. gil and his crew had it installed in about 4 hours. our new windows and doors are the talk of the block. and i think one of our neighbors may have called them since. i wouldn't think twice about having them out again, but they've pretty much replaced every window and door in the house already. todd upgraded our windows at no additional charge to ensure we qualified for obama's tax credit. and he also gave us a multiple install discount. call emerald. don't mess with the wizard.

This was a fantastic experience. Todd was professional and kind. He answered all of our questions quickly and fully explained everything. He even scheduled the installation to coincide with our vacation plans. Our basement windows were in terrible shape, but when we got home from vacation, we were amazed with our new ones! They open and close with ease, they look great, and are perfectly sealed. Todd matched the exterior sills to match our current paint color. The workers left no mess at all. The crew really went the extra mile - doing patchwork, extra repair work around the windows, etc. All in all, a great experience.

I was in the market for replacing my windows (10) with energy efficient ones. Todd came out to my property, measured for the windows. He faxed me an estimate the next day. The estimate was competitive and Todd's presentation was very professional. I decided to go with a firm that was able to do my windows, garage door, cement work and roof for an amount that was equal to the combined estimates given for each separate job. Doing so simplified the process for me as I only now had to deal with one company. I would not hestitate to use Emerald in the future.

Todd Curry came out to do estimate. He was punctual, professional, and courteous. He was well versed about the federal tax credit and applicable products which we were interested in taking advantage of. He provided us with an estimate that same day (via email) and price was within the range of others we had received. We did not use this company for reasons totally unrelated to the presentation and estimate and I would not hesitate to call him again if the need arises.

The whole process of working with Emerald (my first time hiring professional help for home repair service) was so easy that throughout most of the process I was a little skeptical that things should be going so well. This company was so easy to work with and I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

The install went well, quietly and professionally. The storms look great and hopefully we'll see a real decrease in our heating bill next year. The double hung in the upstairs bathroom looks absolutely terrific and high quality. Should we be able to purchase more windows in the future, I look forward to working with them.

I found Emerald Windows through regular internet research and reviews on Angie's List. I first had Todd come out to see the windows on the day I was having the house inspected in mid-January. He promptly sent an estimate with for replacing all the windows in the house. Because the windows were expensive (about $1k each), I wanted to know how much energy efficiency and soundproofing they would provide. Todd made no promises but said I could expect significant benefits. After I moved into the house and figured out the priority of windows vs other updates, I then decided to replace the five most important ones. We had a second site visit to take more measurements and then about a month later the windows were installed, actually a week or two earlier than anticipated. The day of installation was very easy. I left the workmen there while I was at work and felt confident they would do a great job without oversight. When I returned to the house one of them showed me how to use and clean the windows. A few of the window openings got roughed up in the process (I am planning to repaint anyway), but there was no mess left behind.

Everything was fine with them, from beginning to end. There were no problems. They showed up on time. They didn't give me options, but I wasn't looking for options, since we were trying to sell the house.

I thought that they did a very good job. They were highly recommended to us, and they seemed quite personable. They came in for about an hour and measured all the windows, but it was a month or so before they scheduled the job. Then they came and completed all the work in about four hours, and there were 5-6 people working on the job at the same time. Everything was completely clean when they left, and we have not had any problems with the windows.

The service was good and I was quite happy with them. They came out to measure the doors and also showed the doors that they had. Once I had to call them back for which they came back promptly and fixed it. They were very neat and considerate.

Todd Curry scheduled an appointment to visit my home and gather information. He was right on time and very helpful and informative. He provided a quote immediately following the meeting via email. When I committed with a 30% deposit, he and his lead carpenter returned to take final measurements. Again they were right on time and very helpful. Todd immediately scheduled the installation quickly thereafter. The installers and lead carpenter returned on the scheduled day, again right on time. The lead carpenter and installers (Dee and Ben) were very professional, productive, accommodating, and friendly. The window looks great and Emerald met all my needs. No question I will call them again for future windows. Hands down, best Contractor service I've ever dealt with.

Within 2 days, all our windows were replaced and I did not even notice anything when I cam home from work. They did not leave any mess and the windows are all well installed. The initial contact Paul was very knowledgeable and was able to give me advise on how to save energy with windows and other measures. The only problem seems to be our palladium window which first was delivered to them by the manufacturer in the wrong size (as well as the oval window). It took a couple of weeks until we got replacement for them. We are still waiting on the palladium window since the replacement one broke en route to our house. However they were considerate enough to plastic wrap our old window to make it more energy efficient in the meantime.

This was an ideal home improvement experience. Todd was very knowledgeable and helpful and gave us straightforward, honest information about our choices. He even recommended that we NOT replace some of our windows that were in better shape. The windows were manufactured and installed ahead of schedule. They did the work while we were away and did not leave a trace that they had been there. The windows are very high quality and the installation is top notch. This is a very well managed company that does excellent work.

Todd was great. Very professional and pleasant. His estimate was a little high so I went with another contractor (and only did half my windows at that time). I called Todd shortly after to have Emerald do my other windows but he never returned my call. I don't know if it was because I didn't choose him to begin with, but I called to schedule the appointment for the second round, not even looking for an estimate. Because he never returned my call, I won't try to use them again, unfortunately.

At one point, when the drywall guys came out I was afraid it would hang over the window. It was the night before Thanksgiving and I was upset. A worker from Emerald came out and convinced me that it would look o.k. One window was leaking air and they came out and adjusted it for free. They were professional and on time. The workers were friendly and we were pleased with their work. We are using them for another job.

I called Emerald Windows and spoke to Todd Curry. We arranged an appointment, and to my delight, he arrived on time, in fact, he was a few minutes early. I explained what I needed replaced, he showed me some samples of replacement windows, I made my selection and he took some general measurements. The whole process was less than an hour, but he was very thorough and patient. After he left, I had to call him because I forgot to mention the glass block window. He came back the next day to measure that window. Todd emailed me the estimate that day. When Todd arrived (again, on time) to take the final measurements(the actual installer wasn't available to make the appointment), he explained that I really didn't need the entire glass block window unit replaced, only the individual block that was broken. He said it would take some effort on my part to locate a matching block and get someone to install it, but that it could be done. I really appreciated his honesty in this matter. However, I decided to get the entire unit replaced, in part because I really didn't feel like doing the leg work, and even more so because he was so honest, I took that as a good sign. A few weeks later the windows were ready and a date was chosen for installation. Todd said the installers would be at the house between 8:30 AM and 9 AM. They arrived at 8:40 AM! Demond introduced himself and the 2 other installers, Charles, and Leo. He explained what they would be doing, and that they would be neat and as unobtrusive as possible. As they were preparing to start, Todd stopped by for a few minutes. This was reassuring, as usually the sales person is great to deal with, but once the sale is made, you're left on your own. This was not the case. The installers couldn't have been more polite, neat, and diligent. There were no excessive and unnecessary conversations, breaks, cell phone calls, etc. They worked well together and were very efficient. Once they were finished, they cleaned the windows, cleaned the work areas, inside and outside, and pulled up the drop cloths. It was definitely the best experience I have ever had dealing with contractors!

Excellent responsiveness, Todd came right out to measure and work up an estimate. Next Todd brought Gil, the installer to measure a second time and the windows were ordered. We waited a few weeks, picked a date, the crew arrived promptly, did a fabulous job, were polite, clean professional, very detail oriented and left the house cleaner than they found it. Gil was great, and even did a little extra to patch a spot on a window they were not replacing. I am so impressed I am getting an estimate on the remaining 4 old problem windows I still have. Look forward to working with these folks again. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Todd Curry of Emerald Windows gave us a prompt estimate. We were tied up with other renovations and didn't get back to him for some time. The were NO pressure sell calls in the meantime. We had received 2 other estimates for the same work and Emerald was the most reasonable for comparable windows. When we did let Todd know that we wanted the replacements, an appointment was set and everything was on time and very professional. His team was amazing. They put down drop cloths all through the house (even in areas outside the affected rooms),and were so personable and professional throughout the day. They were exceptionally polite and friendly. I had a broken hip at the time and they helped me get a paper and pen, feed the dog, etc., while they were going in and out working on the windows. You couldn't ask for nicer guys. The openings for 2 of the windows were difficult spaces in a 100+ year old carriage house and were quite beat up. They now look great. The other 5 windows are great as well. The most remarkable thing was the clean-up. They not only cleaned the rooms that received the windows, they swept up any area they walked in! I think the house was cleaner when they left than when they arrived! We would definitely highly recommend them and would use them again for any future work. The final cost was lower than the estimate because we used an Angie's List coupon.
