 + -1 moreWe are VERY happy in our new home, we feel that we paid the right price, and we did not have any problems with our paperwork. I want to note that my report and ratings are for Ellie Rodgers, not Elfant Wissahickon. I am sure they are a good company, but I do not know much about their role in our transaction. Though, when Ellie was away for a week, we had a responsive contact at the agency who was also helpful.
Description of Work: My husband and I began looking for homes with Ellie Rodgers after realizing that our previous Realtor did not have our best interest in mind. As buyers, it is difficult to find a Realtor who isn't just trying to sell you a house, regardless of the condition or fit for you and your lifestyle. Ellie was very good at providing advice without pushing us in one direction or the other. We saw MANY homes with her, and spent 7 months looking in two Philadelphia neighborhoods before we found the right house. She never gave up on us and made sure we looked into every detail - being first time buyers, we did not know all that we needed to do between the time that we decided on a house and went to settlement and Ellie guided us through it all.
