The crew were there at the specified time. Performed the work without incident. Removed all of the trash. I was happy when the work was completed and 4 years later there are no issues.

I had called another roofer and got an estimate of $6,000. Danny came out the same day I called and explained all that needed to be done. His workers were there on the date and time we agreed upon and did all the work and cleaned up after. It's been almost 3 years with heavy snow and rain and I have had no problems.

Doc's roofing used "bait & switch". They promised/quoted us a "top of the line roof to be replaced down to the plywood base and make sure all decking is sound". Roof started leaking within 2 months. We had water mitigation take drywall down and found a hole covered with aluminum metal (they clearly had not replaced plywood). At the time they were also starting a stucco job and when we told them that if they can't fix roof we would get other roofer to go up and fix it, they immediately threaten to leave stucco job if anyone went up to roof. We went ahead and got different roofer who identified a poorly done job with seams popping off (source of the leak), weakened areas, used cheap materials and no sign of replacing plywood . Since then we have had 4 different roofers and all said roof job was terrible (pictures and report confirm sloppy job). We now have to get entire roof re-done and starting lawsuit against Doc's Roofing to get our money back. They also tried "bait & switch" in stucco job. We got a quote for 3 layers and he then lied to subcontractor and told him we wanted cheaper 2 layer system (subcontractor told us later). Luckily we kicked him out before he finished another disastrous job. Since we found them thru HomeAdvisor.com we called them and they said they had kicked him off website May 6th 2014 due to numerous complaints. They also harassed us by calling the police multiple times to get scaffolding parts that didn't belong to them. AVOID Doc's Roofing!

We saw that they were a small family owned company, and that's why we decided to get in touch with them. They seemed really interested in the cause, so we explained who we were and the types of projects we work on. Danny, the owner, came out and gave us an estimate. The job was much larger than initially thought, but he was still willing to help us out. The initial estimate for the job included high quality materials and labor. Since we're a non-profit, it was a little out of reach, and Danny was willing to keep the quality materials and give us a very steep discount on labor. They ended up doing the job for barely any profit at all, but they really wanted to help us after hearing the family's story. It's rare to find a company this willing to make sacrifices to help other people out. We really appreciate the selflessness of Doc's Roofing, and the family does as well.
