The workers arrived at the scheduled time and were very professional. They had one piece of furniture that was very bulky and they were very careful not to scrape the wall when they were carrying it down the stairs. There was absolutely no attempt to charge the price that was offered on the coupon. I woild definitely use them again.

I hired Deletemytrash as part of a big deal, and frankly, the whole thing reeks of a bait and switch. I had a comparable experience with other Big Deals as well (low introductory price that doesn't actually cover the work needed to be done, which leads to having to pay a lot more), but fortunately we didn't go through with them. This one we did go through with, and I think it was a mistake. The men who showed up were professional and efficient, but there is no way they removed $198 worth of trash. I believe the person I spoke to on the phone to set up the appointment was misleading in the amount it would take to fill a quarter-pod versus a half-pod, and when the workers show up in a pickup truck and use that as a standard of measurement, it doesn't make for a positive sign. I did not grade the company above because I honestly don't know who is more suspect, the company or Angie's List for contracting Big Deals through them. I'm not too satisfied with either the company or the Big Deal, which I feel implicates Angie's List. I wish to remain a member, but I will never try a Big Deal with Angie's List again, and I wouldn't recommend that anybody else do it either. Buyer beware, I suppose.

Very well. They came at the appointed time. Called to make sure I was there. Had proper paper work and took everything away very quickly. They were very pleasant and professional.

I purchased the $79 for $198 hauling deal from Angie’s List. Called and scheduled them to come out the next day to remove construction material for a home project. There was more trash than the pre-purchased amount would cover (which I figured) and paid an additional $70 when they were finished.

I arranged for Delete My Trash to haul some items because of the Angie's List deal for $79. My partner was the person home when the haulers came so I was not there.. The agreement was for $79. Although we had agreed to a cost of $79, Delete My Trash charged $238. When they got here, I wasn't home, and it turned out that $79 would not cover all the items. It is my feeling that they should have honored the written agreement, hauled only as much as would have been covered by $79. It would have been useful if the photo on the website had given some idea of what items would fit into the space offered in the deal.

Deletemytrash told me over the phone how they charged for jobs and said they would give a free estimate and be prepared to do the job on the spot. The entire transaction was professional and courteous. They arrived (three men) on schedule, told me how much the job would cost, went over the items to be removed with me, asked questions for clarification and completed the work in a little more than two hours. They even set side an unused, still boxed, high-quality leather game set that they thought I might want to keep!

The guy who came out was cheerful, worked quickly, came promptly, and we had no problem setting up the date for him to come out.

They were excellent. They cleaned up the mess and got the stuff out of here. The only issue was that the Big Deal did not describe in detail what exactly it covered. When I called to make the appointment, the gentleman told me I could make the appointment online, so I did. When they came out, they said there was a mix up of what I made the appointment for. They came out with a truck that was too small. They ended up needing two trucks and about six workers for the job. The Big deal coupon was for $79, but I had to pay an additional $300 after the company had already arrived. I was happy with the service, but disappointed that the Big Deal coupon did not mention the amount of junk removal you can get with the coupon.

Overall we were satisfied enough to know we are going to call them again and are hoping we get at least a discount for the punctuality problem. I booked DeleteMyTrash through an Angie's List Daily Deal, which was $198. of trash removal service for $79. I did my research before taking the deal, and knew the $79. was only buying 1/4 of a truck, and I knew I probably had a full truckload, so I was prepared to spend more. They company was very prompt responding via email and then telephone, and, when I did not receive a confirmation call the day before, I called them and got my confirmation. They were supposed to show between 11 and 2, called at 11:30 promising between 2 and 4 and actually showed after 5 p.m. Not a big deal for this retiree, but if I had taken a day off of work, it would have been. Make sure you get some discount guarantee if they do not show on time, because I think they overbook regularly. The two fellows who served us were wonderful, very nice and polite, very efficient and hardworking. The truck, which is small, filled very quickly (in about ten minutes in our case) so we only were able to "lose" about half of the trash I was hoping. The newfound space will allow us to get to the rest of the boxes of "treasures" we packed over 5 years ago and put in that garage when we moved in, most of which is probably now trash that will be part of DeleteMyTrash's next stop at our house - lol!! I can't wait to get them back and get it cleaned out. We may even try the "Do It Yourself" portable dumpster service they provide; make sure you have a weather clear 3 day window when you do that because you only have 3 days to load it before they pick it up. I think that is around $400, and seems very reasonable and efficient. All in all, good experience, and having the trash gone is PRICELESS!!

Supervisor and 2 helpers arrived approx 15 min before scheduled time (a plus). They confirmed work to be done and went about their tasks with very little disturbance to me. Staff cleaned up after completion and made sure work was done to my satisfaction before leaving.

After a rough start due to a scheduling misunderstanding ( was told I had a Saturday appointment but they did not show up), the company arrived between the 2 hour window on the day of my 2nd appointment. To make up for the inconvenience of missing my first appointment where I waited 1/2 day, they did not charge me for the extra POD they needed to haul away old lumbar and other objects. The staff who arrived at my door were very professional and polite. I would definitely use them again.

In the spring of '11, I responded to an Angie's List "Big Deal" which offered $198 worth of junk hauling/removal services for $79. The ad stated that I would receive 3 man hours of work; specifically 2 workers for 1.5 hours each. There was no mention in the ad of any limits to the amount of trash or waste that would be removed. I responded to the offer by sending $79 to this contractor. When I contacted the contractor and arranged for the service, I was told that there would be a limit to the amount of trash that would be removed. That was the first time I had ever heard of such a limitation. When I told the contractor that there was no limit mentioned in the original offer, he said that the offer was "poorly written." Today, two employees of the contractor arrived at my home. They had a pick up truck that already had someone else's trash in it. I showed them what I wanted removed, and he told me that I would exceed the limit of what "I had paid for." I told him to go ahead and load the truck. When he was finished, he told me I owed him another $61, which I paid. The two workers were on-site for no more than a half hour. Instead of 3 man hours of work, I received one man hour which wound up costing me more than we had originally agreed. I would caution anyone using this service, especially if you are responding to a "come on" ad or some other promotion. I did not get what I paid for.

Each time I've called them they have come out the same day and given me a price. They came out prepared to do the job when they were out to give me the price. The guy didn't just come out with a paper to just look around, but he came with his crew. They provide service the way we want it. We can fill up the garbage in a trailer outside our house, and they would come and take it away and charge us for that. The charge us by the trailer or something like that. They are awesome. I am amazed at their professionalism. They have always done a great job at a competitive price.

took away construction materials like drywall and wood and old paint from a shed outside. it would have cost so much more to get a dumpster. i would use them again .

I used the Angielist deal. I liked that they stuck to their deal. They go by the volume of the truck. He said that it might extra because it was a whole truck. I insisted in using only the deal and he ended up taking way more than he really had. They were really nice and accommodating. It was totally three guys and it was a hard job up and down the basement. They did a good job and they were very cordial. I liked that they donate things. They had to destroy my Ping-Pong table, though I know that it was in good shape. They had scratched up the wood on my door a little bit.

I identified the junk and they took it out from whichever area that I identified. I liked them very much as they were very customer friendly. They wanted to know as to what I wanted to be gone. They had to take a part to take out a couple of things. They had brought a van with them to take the things. I thought that they were very pleasant. There was nothing that was negative. Their price was average.

David came today as we agreed. He said he would be here before noon and he was. He and his partner were friendly and efficient. Within minutes, they had filled their "pod" with my stuff. They handled everything with care and with speed. There was a problem about the price agreed upon, and it seems I was misinformed about the actual cost. He honored the price I was quoted even though it was well below what the usual charge was. When I offered to give him more money, he stated the reputation of his company was more important than my fee. Since it was a miscommunication on their part, he would not take more than the agreed-upon amount. I was so impressed with this company that I intend to use him again and again. I think people that run businesses in this manner should be utilized and encouraged. I am going to tell all my friends about them and I hope this review will get them the business they deserve.

I booked on line about two weeks in advanced to have my garage clean out of junk. This included some old furniture and building materials. I schedule the time between 10 and 11 am and there arrived with a two man crew at 10:30am. I had two piles for them to remove. My garage is detached with a long driveway that goes under a car port. The crew was able back up right to the garage. It took then about a hour to load up the pod. The crew broom swept the garage were the piles were and also point out some mold issues. I rated the price as good because it was a fair price for the work to load up the pod and depose of my junk and knowing that some of the junk will be recycled and donated. Cost was $509 + tax. My next clean up is my basement and will be using them again

It was time to let go of our 20-year-old, cat-clawed, dog-chewed sofa. It was not in good enough condition to ask a nonprofit to come get it. Like all old sofabeds, it weighed a ton. We decided to pay to have it removed to make room for a new sofa. Delete My Trash quickly responded to my call, gave me an estimate (just one piece of furniture = minimum fee of $89.00) and offered to come the next day. I scheduled the pick-up for the following week. The movers arrived between 8 and 8:30 am as promised. They were in and out in less than 20 minutes, very careful and very professional. The total cost was $95.23 ($89.00 plus tax.) I would happily hire them again.

Deal was offered for "3 men for 3 hours each" at a set, discounted price. When the men showed up, they said the cost was based on volume of trash, not on the man hours, and tried to sell me more volume to get rid of the trash I had. They were done in 1/2 hour filling up one pick up truck. VERY MISLEADING!!!

There was a special offered, perhaps through Angie's List. They charged me a little more than the advertised special, but I felt that was fair. I would recommend getting a written estimate ahead of time so you do have something they have to adhere to. Their customer service and professionalism was fine. I had not problems with them.

When they arrived, I was quoted for an additional $311 to clear all debris as they estimated one full POD. (Completely agreed and understand, there was a lot of trash to be removed and the special is only for 1/3 of POD). In the end I paid a total of $677.36 ($79 + $562). The trash included a full POD and another full truck load. I was disappointed that the additional cost was not cleared with me before proceeding (hence the lower score on price and professionalism). I was OK to pay it as they did a good job in clearing the debris and left the place clean. I was disappointed that the additional cost were not cleared with me before they were incurred. In the end it would have been more cost effective to just have rented a full dumpster.

I had about 25 contractor bags filled with plaster in front of my house. The local garbage service did not collect it because it was too heavy. I was frustrated so I went to delete my trash for help(for the second time). They were great. They took care of the trash the following day in the time window of 7am - 9am. They were there around 830. I was very happy with the work that they did and it saved me having to rent a truck to haul it myself. I definitely thought the price was a little steep considering they didn't have to haul the trash far at all. It was right in front of my house and it was in garbage bags. No steps, no hills, they just threw it from in front of my row home into the truck. It took them 5 minutes to complete the job. There were three guys there to do the job, although there really only needed to be 2. The third guy just gave me a quote and had me sign off on the bill. Other than the price, they can't be beat as far as service and professionalism. If they charged me an even $100, I would have been thrilled!
