I purchased my new windows from Definis and Sons Beginning with my visit to the showroom, through the installation, I could not have been more pleased. The folks at Definis and Sons thoroughly explained everything to me regarding their products, pricing and warranties. The installers were also very knowledgeable about my window selection and extremely respectful of me and my home. They did a fantastic job. I'm planning on replacing my storm door soon, and will definitely be going back there.

I had a bad experience when I had countertops installed by another “reputable company” so when I hired DeFinis to come out to install my front door, I was very hesitant. To my surprise the installer was very knowledgeable and quite the perfectionist! I have a beautiful door and the rotting wood that was under and around the door is gone. I hired DeFinis again a few months later to install my Bay Window. Jim and Cody were just as amazing and I can’t say enough about the workmanship and attention to detail. Absolutely beautiful window! I highly recommend this company. Very professional!!

I first went to Definis because they had the best price, but I’m glad I did. Their show room was pretty and they helped me find the best windows to match those that were already in the house. We chose a double paned window to save on heating and cooling costs. This was all the way back in 2009 and I’m now selling the house and needed a copy of my receipt. I couldn’t find it anywhere so I emailed them to see if they still had one. Within a few hours they sent me a copy. Very helpful!

We probably will use them again to put some doors in.

Installer showed up on time and the job he did was perfect. He did things I didn't expect to be done, all new flashing around the door, even on the one where he only replaced the storm door. He was METICULOUS. I could not be happier with the work.

The price was decent but I don't remember what it was. The quality was really good. It is quality work and they clean up after themselves. The workers were very nice. Cleanup was spotless.

Definis and Sons recently installed a large bay window with a shingled roof pent and the window is magnificent! From the moment we stopped into their beautiful showroom to the installation date we knew we were in good hands. Jim Jr. and his helper were courteous, on time, super clean and an absolute pleasure to have in our home. Thabk you for a job well done! We will definitely use your services again when we replace our doors in the spring.

Definis installed a Bow Window my wife picked out, they installed it when stated but on the day of the installation I ask the installer Jimmy DeFinis why the window was sticking out 2" past the stone front of the house and why the trim covered the Lintol ( the steel L supporting the top of the wall over the window, " How was the water supposed to shed when it rained if it was covered". His response was "We have installed many of these windows and had no problem". Less than 6 months later the window was leaking. We called DeFinis and they came out and caulked the window, next heavy rain we had puddles on the inside window sill again. this time when called I was told it was the "Roof Leaking" but the roof was less than 8months old but I still called my roofer and he checked it and said there was no problem. Next I was told it was the "Stone Pointing" I pointed the front and again when it rained we had a leak. Next I was told it was the caulking around the attic vent, I had already caulked it in anticipation of this response. By this time we had a large spot the was rotting out and I was told to just fill it myself. After over a year of going back and forth I contacted a Window Trouble shooter from Pella windows and the moment he came out I was told the leak was because DeFinis had covered the Lintel and the water had nowhere to go but inside the house. The Pella man wrote up a report which we sent to DeFinis with the note that we would be taking legal action for their mistake. Finally they came out and had to remove the window and replace the bottom sill and change the way it fit making sure the steel Lintel was exposed so the water could shed. This finally fixed the problem! DeFinis never took responsibility for the bad install and I had to threaten legal action in order to get them to fix it. I would never trust them with my house again and when asked I would never recommend them!

The company is family run. They are professional, knowledgable, and clean up when they are done. I had a problem window that allowed a lot of water to come in. After my new windows were installed, the problem was solved. They don't oversell, they try to put you into the correct window as inexpensively and they can. They were half the price of other window company I received a price from, with better windows.

In the showroom the owner's wife was friendly and helpful. It took a while to get the windows due to the type I ordered but they were installed within the time frame I wanted. The two installers were friendly and professional and they did a good job. They did leave some debris in my driveway that I had to pick up but other than that I have no complaints about the installation.

Joe & Jim arrived promptly at 8:30 AM. Started work immediately. Worked straight through no lunch or breaks. Not a careless speedy rush job. Cleaned up all debris from inside and outside the house. Excellent quality work Thank you

It was excellent. They did a fantastic job. I gave them a call and let them know that I would recommend them. Dealing with the company is super. I couldn't ask for better service. My wife and I highly recommend them.

They came out and put two windows in and I wasn't happy with the instillation (left sharp metal on the on the window in my bedroom.) Then when I got a leak in my kitchen (right under the window they installed) I called them and they came and told me it must be my roof. After the new roof was installed I still had the leak when ever the rain hit the window so I called them back and they still said it wasn't the window. I took my hose up and sprayed the window and it leaked. I've been trying to get them to come back and they are taking their time getting back to me. Also these windows are so cheaply made that I would tell anyone not to use this company and their standing behind their cheep windows. My advice to anyone is to go with the name brands and DON'T get these people to do anything for you. I don't know how they got all their good reviews (family and friends) but they SUCK!

They arrived at 8:00 am as expected, installed, cleaned up both inside and out and were done by 10:15- Everything was handled exceptional well and I love the window.

We had a great experience with Definis and Sons. We needed 2 exterior steel doors and a storm door installed sooner than their usual time quoted for a job like this. They worked around our schedule and rushed the order for the doors. The doors were installed early as promised and look wonderful.

Definis and Sons installed replacement windows for us in September 1999. The windows were manufactured by Thermal Industries. We are happy with the workmanship as well as the products. Earlier this year one of the window panes failed, resulting in fogging and internal staining. So we wanted to have it replaced. After some initial confusion (which may have been caused by me) both Definis and Sons and Thermal Industries teamed up to repair our window in a timely manner. I would use both again in the future.

Installation went without a hitch. Mike, the installer did a great job, even cut a small piece of wood to fill a spot in my existing trim. Doors look great, price was comparable to another estimate I got, & since Definis has a showroom, I was able to see what I was choosing rather than looking at a photo in a brochure. Everything about Definis was professional, timely (doors actually came in earlier than the expected 8 weeks), courteous.. I would definitely use them again & recommend them to anyone. I wrote a review when the doors were installed a few weeks ago, but I didn't see it here, so I wrote it again.

I needed 2 doors installed, one for me and one for my Dad. Went to Definis found the doors I wanted and ordered them, Left a deposit> As soon as the doors came in I received a call and the following day or two Definis came out and did a great job. It is always a difficult decision, deciding who to hire to do any type of work on your house. Do not be afraid of Definis and Sons. They were professional and have good quality Doors.

It all went very well. The doors look & work great. The installer, Mike, was knowledgeable, respectful, clean, courteous... He even cut & installed a small piece of wood to repair part of my existing interior trim. One of the Definis brothers even called me after the install to see if I was happy. I did get one other estimate which was very close to Definis' price, but the folks I spoke with there (on the phone only, they had no showroom) weren't very professional. Definis has a showroom where you can see & choose the doors, rather than trying to decipher the confusing choices shown in the brochure the other company sent me (NOT in a very timely manner, I might add). I would definitely use Definis again & recommend them to anyone.

Kudos to Rudy Definis and staff both in office and on the street. Definis and sons did work for me in the past at my old house so I knew of the exceptional quality of their work. I went to the showroom to decide on 2 steel doors and 2 storm doors. Great selection!! I could not decide about color capping. The young lady in the office pulled up my house on google earth and we discussed it. I made a decision to go with white because windows had white capping.Rudy also told me that because I was getting both doors at same time that I would be able to get one key for both doors. One key for front and back steel doors and one key for front and back storm doors. This will certainly make my life easier. The young man came on time,did a super job ,both with installation and capping.He took ALL THE TRASH WITH HIM. I LOVE THE DOORS. The color,the glass,and the hardware.I am very happy I went back to Definis and SONS.Thank you Rudy and staff.It was a pleasure doing business with you.I will most definitely recommend you and if need be to call you in the future.

Strongly advise against contacting this company if you want them to see your home before coming out for install. Clearly want you in the showroom to employ high pressure sales tactics and have little interest in what you want, more what is fastest, easiest and cheapest on their end.

Totally satisfied with the process. At every stage, the DeFinis organization was efficient, communicative, timely and high quality. This was true in the ordering, the measurements, scheduling, and installation. I was astonished that a team of three, including one of the principals, could install all 20 windows in one day, including caulking and clean up. The results for the comfort of the house, and unexpectedly, too, the quietness inside the house from road noise, were clearly apparent.

Jimmy and Keith did a wonderful job with installing 12 replacement windows in our house. We were extremely pleased with the work the company performed. The entire process, from picking out the windows in the showroom to having them installed, went extremely smoothly. Jimmy and Keith were on time, worked very efficiently, and left the place spotless. The quality of work was excellent.
