Curran Painting

We bought a house and called to get an estimate to do interior paining. Super responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. Brian came out the next day to give an estimate, provided the breakdown that same evening and was ready to schedule within the week. In the end, we decided to do the painting ourselves to save some money, but will definitely be the first call in the future (or if we screw it up!).

Brian and his crew are professional, kind and so very helpful. When I first reached out to Brian to get a quote he responded promptly and gave me a quote within 12 hours of his visit. He worked well with my schedule and the other contractors that were working in the house at the same time. He was especially patient about having new holes ripped into freshly painted rooms by the electricians I hired after the fact. He stuck around to patch all (around 15 or so) holes in my ceilings and walls and repainted entire walls and ceilings for me. Brian's helpfulness extends far beyond just painting. He is also very handy and helped me fix and install several items around the house such as bathroom mirrors and sconces. He introduced me to other contractors that he felt could help me with some of my other renovation projects and they all turned out to be very reliable and helpful as well. Brian is a wonderful person to know and a pleasure to work with. Anyone that hires him is in very good hands.

Brian and his team did a great job. The job took two days. The hallway and den ( walls and ceiling) were painted pink originally. I decided to have the ceiling painted white and the walls blue and it looks great. I also asked him to re-paint the walls in the living room in a shade of peach that I had selected ( that was close to the original shade that was on the walls). That also turned out really well. Brian and his team were very careful to make sure that the carpet and furniture were properly covered and left my home very clean. I would use Brian again for any painting that I wanted done and would recommend him.

Bryan from Curran Painting contacted us promptly. The work was reasonably priced. The painters completed the work efficiently, cleanly and as promised with no hiccups within a single day. We were satisfied and would use them for future painting jobs.

Brian and his crew did a great job painting our old house, and it turned out even better than we would have imagined. Though Brian's wasn't the lowest bid of the three we solicited, we chose him because he seemed to have a clear idea of how to get a somewhat complicated job done, and lined up the additional contractors for us when it became apparent we needed to re-drywall the ceilings for a smooth finish and subsequently decided to refinish our wood floors at the same time. Recognizing that we had to move out for a few weeks for some of the work to be completed, Brian coordinated with the drywall and floor contractors to make sure that there was no lag time in the work, so that we could get back into our house as quickly as possible. His crew worked quickly but carefully, did a great job on the prep work for walls that hadn't been painted in years, and were pleasant to deal with. Without fail, they were at our house 5 minutes before their scheduled arrival every morning, even though they were traveling from the opposite side of the city. They returned to do touch ups and make sure we were satisfied after the floors were finished, and Brian followed up to make sure we were happy. We wouldn't hesitate to use Curran Painting for any future jobs that come up, and would enthusiastically recommend them. They completed the work beautifully and within the time frame specified.

Brian and Jonathan very responsive to any of our concerns, explained procedures and advised honestly. Work was done in a relatively short time frame. Quality of work seems great. When not on site (phone calls and emails), the communication was spotty at best and they don't use formal contracts which was worrisome at first; however, any concerns were gone when work began due to the level of professionalism and detail. Overall a very good experience. We would recommend Curran Painting and contract again with them in the future.

The work went as smoothly as possible. Arrived on time, listened carefully, offered good ideas, and most important, did a beautiful job on the painting. Left our home cleaner than when he arrived!

The work was done on schedule and professionally. Brian was accommodating when I added work to the job, and was willing to listen to my ideas and make recommendations. I have numerous French doors that required close hand work and they did a great job on them. New hardware and brass kick plates were professionally installed. High quality paint and material was used. We were very comfortable leaving them at our home when we were away. Looking forward to using his services in the future.

Was very happy with the amount of work that got done and the quality (upstairs, downstairs hallway, all trim and doors, kitchen ceiling, bedroom celiling). They ended up doing it over two days (3 people on day 1, 2 people on day 2). They were also able to fit me in really quickly, which was fantastic. Would use again for sure. Thanks Brian and team.

They were punctual and completed the work very quickly. They deserve the stars for great service. My only regret was that I could not use his services on other projects as he was going on vacation. I would certainly recommend him to everyone i know.

Brian and his team did a beautiful job painting my cornice and window trim of my 1890s row house at a reasonable price. Brian proposed an approach that was appropriate to the neighborhood and understood my concerns about color. He easily accommodated some last minute changes to the scope of the project and was friendly and professional throughout the process. I would definitely work with Brian and his team again.

His service and quality of work is excellent. He is a very good painter. The job went very well. He said he was going to be their for 3 day to allow the patching to dry and he was able to finish it in 2 days and he took money off the price based on that. Finish ahead of schedule and I was satisfied with the work. He deducted off the initial estimate off to compensate for the extra day that was not necessary. He is very professional. Has attention to detail and is very fair.

Brian came over a couple times. Once to remove wallpaper and the second time to paint a 2 story foyer. He arrived and completed the job in a timely fashion. He is easy to work with and I would hire him again for any future painting needs. Thanks, Jake

They gave me an estimate through email without breaking it down and not much detail of what to do. He put a bulk price and I did not have any idea if it was for the ceilling, basement or both. After I sent an email asking details and a breakdown he never replied.

I contacted Brian to get an estimate to paint most of our home's interior walls and some trim work. He was punctual, professional, and clearly was very knowledgeable (i.e.: paint finish, paint type, looked in closets to see if they needed to be painted...i never would have thought of this). We received two estimates for the work, and they were within $100. of each other. With the Angie's List discount, Curran Painting came in as the lower bid. Brian and his crew did an excellent job painting and helping me pick paint colors that were right for the amount of light coming into the rooms. As the work progressed, it made me realize how much better the new paint work looked. I asked Brian if he could paint the additional areas as well and he did for very reasonable prices. The house looks great! There were a few small areas that needed to be touched up. Brian was very responsive to the items on the punchlist and everything was addressed within a couple of days. I really enjoyed working with Brian and his crew and have already asked him to provide me with an estimate to paint our basement floor once the demolition work is complete. I highly recommend Curran Painting.
