Description of Work: A small hole beside some loose flashing had allowing water to run down into a second story wall. Not knowing where thee water was coming from was distressing. Crest figured it out, completed a relatively small repair and the leak has been stopped. We had the wall fixed and repainted and the saga ended (in painting the entire second floor).

+ -1 moreHe came out when he said he would to do the estimate. He looked at another area that we were nervous about and he told us that area needed no work. He gave an estimate that was half the estimate given by another company. It took time to get the work done, but he did start on the day he said he would. He reported honestly that there was no damage beneath the roof. He finished in 2 days and left absolutely no mess at all.
Description of Work: We have a gently sloping roof that was covered with a flat surface; there was a leak and we had no idea what trouble lay beneath. We had Crest tear off the old roof, repair any damage underneath, and replace the roof with shingle. Also we had him put in copper downspouts and copper edging.

+ -1 moreAfter one missed appointment through miscommunication, Gerry Owens of Crest Roofing came on time to inspect a roof leak. The roof is 24 years old and I feared I would need a new roof. Mr. Owens looked at the leak in the upstairs ceiling and then spent about 20 minutes on the roof. He found several nails had popped up over the site of the leak. He hammered them down, caulked, and did a quick gutter cleaning. He had been on the crew that had done the roofing job in 1983. He said it was a heavy-weight shingle that should last several more years, especially since the roof did not face directly into the sun.
Description of Work: Fixed leak in peaked, fiberglass shingle roof.
