The job was NEVER finished. He took all of my money, except for $1300, which was not enough to complete the job. The job cost me an additional $2100 to hire someone else to finish it, in addition to the $1300 I had to spend to purchase the remaining materials for the job. The garage was NEVER sided, and the gutters were not completed until March 14, 2011--which means my house went without gutters for the entire winter !! I paid $3500 on 10/30/11. I then paid $2,000 on 12/12/11. I wrote the third check for $1800 on 12/20/11, before the job was completed because Christopher Krezel told me his subcontractor "threatened to beat him up if he didn't give him more money." Since we went to grade school together, I thought he was a friend. I contacted him on numerous occasions to get the job completed, but he kept ignoring me. I went the entire winter without gutters on my home. I had to ask him 28 times before they were done. Then I contacted him 11 more times, before he finally agreed to complete the job if I went out and purchased the rest of the materials needed (which I did), and then he went back to ignoring me again. He also promised to credit me for the aluminum scrap value for the old siding that was removed (approx. value $400). I never received this either. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau 6-27-12, but he never responded to them. I also filed a complaint with the PA Attorney General on 6-29-12, but they also could not reach him, and suggested I take it to district court. This did not work out, because I was unsure of where he was now residing, and did not know what address to have him served at. It is now Jan 2013, and I have not heard from Chris Krezel.
