Our thermostat was not working and they came and told us it was a the condenser. They were quick to respond and came back as needed. They even brought us a new thermostat that would work better. They are professional, on-time and got the job done.

Excellent. Very responsive. Returned promptly to fix an installation issue to our satisfaction Pricing fair and consistent. We will continue to use them for routine HVAC servicing and give them priority consideration for other home mechanical jobs.

Service techs arrived within reasonable timeframe, given the need to collect supplies from the supply house. The price was 50% higher than another quote but I opted for this provider since personnel has provided satisfactory service in the past. A/C installation, on a national basis, is performed incorrectly in more than 60 percent of jobs. I am satisfied that this install, if not meeting the rigorous standards requiring a triple evacuation, was cost-effective and adequate.

When we first called for service they gave us a 1-3 window but we were not able to be home to 2pm. The guy was not very accommodating on the phone for the window time. The next day we called back to confirm, talking to a new person and he was more than accommodating changing our window to 2-4 though the guy did not show till 5:15. He was great in explaining but unfortunately didn't have the piece. We rescheduled for someone to come back with the new board, was punctual this second visit however had the wrong piece so we had to reschedule again. Price was good and every CHF Mechanical employee how came to our house was professional.

They didn't even attempt to go up there and check it. They were lousy.

After about 5 minutes (give or take), and with only a minimal inspection of the unit, he says that we need a new furnace. He goes on to say that even in the midst of the snow-storm, we can have a new furnace within a few hours, but we were looking at a few thousand dollars for the work. Not the news we wanted to hear, so we decided to bear with the extreme cold, light a fire, and try to get a second opinion. A friend of ours, who is a realtor, suggested we reach out to Charlie from CHF Mechanical Services. Around 10pm that evening, we called the number, fully expecting to leave a message for Charlie. Fortunate for us, Charlie answered the phone and said he could have a technician over to our place in the morning. As promised, Mike was at our place to inspect the unit to determine what the issue might be. Unlike the technician from Atlas, Mike spent a good 30 minutes examining the unit, and determined that the gas-valve needed to be replaced. He said he would have to order the part, but in the meantime, he could turn on a back-up burner, which would at least give us heat. We didn't even realize we had a back-up burner, because the first technician didn't really look at the system. ||In the end, CHF was able to change out a few parts (gas valve, flame sensor & logic board) for a total cost of $970. It certainly beat having to pay $5,000-$6,000 for a new unit altogether (which wasn't needed). We will definitely turn to CHF in the future for our HVAC needs, and will refer our friends and family as well.

They messed up and the guy who they sent didn’t clear it out all the way. Water came back up and got into the dryer from the condensation that was building up. However, they did come back out and fix the problem.

They arrived as scheduled and did the job in less than 30 mins.

It was very cold. I had a PGW warranty. PGW came by and told me that my furnace was inaccessible and voided the warranty, refusing to service it. I called CHF late in the afternoon. They were at my house early the next morning. They quickly found the problem and corrected a pre existing issue. My heater is working better than ever. They even cleaned up and vacuumed before they left.

They were very prompt and the price was very competitive. They gave me an allowance to pay off the remainder of my bill. I appreciate their professionalism and willingness to work with me to get the services completed on my home that were needed as the cold months are approaching. I would highly recommend their services.

unit hose was clogged, causing air conditioner to fill with water. they drained unit as best they could and repaired the hose.

The rapid connect process was helpful I would recommend them and it was a fair price. They did what they were supposed to do.

They came when they said they would, were very nice and was able to fix the issue with my A/C. I even got a senior citizen discount from them. I will use them for future services.

Work was satisfactory. Representative arrived on time. Work was reasonably priced.

I called them up because they left a flier in my railing. They came right out even though it was a really small job. They sent a couple of kids when they were on their way back to their home base or whatever. He was really nice and took off his shoes before he came into my house. It was very quick and they were in and out. Their price was pretty cheap and it was all satisfactory.

The company was responsive to my request for the unit to be removed in a timely manner.Once the patio work was finished they agreed to re-install the unit on a Saturday for my convenience.I intend to use this company for all of my future heating and air conditioning needs.

The guy who originally came was very nice and courteous but once they tried to refer me to a partner all communication stopped.

I suspect that the owner overestimated the complexity, since he first told me that three people would be required. The price did not drop correspondingly with fewer men on site. But having been disappointed lately over and over again by unresponsive A rated Angie's List roofers, I appreciate a firm that answered the telephone, appeared for an estimate, showed up as promised for the work, and fully completed the work cheerfully and well. Shouldn't expect everything.

We requested a price to remove and install a new 80 gallon tank as well as new ball valves and re-route the water supply lines.We received an estimate in three days and the work was completed as promised and scheduled. They did an excellent job and completed the work as agreed.

CHF MECHANICAL SERVICES are johnny on the spot for anything you need. Even on the weekends they will come out. If something is wrong, they will come to fix it. If you cannot pay them upfront, they bill you and let you pay it off. He charged me for the price of just coming in to look at it, even though he fixed it. They do plumbing, air conditioning and heating systems, electrical repairs, mechanical service, and general maintenance and repair.

Called for a free estimate. Made appointment for overall review. suggested c02 detector. Next day received estimate, a little high, made appointment. Cleaned and repaired heater, cleaned air ducts. Overall, Mark and Jim were knowledgable and friendly. Paid after the job was completed was given written estimates and receipts.

We have a 3yr old Goodman packaged rooftop heating/ac unit that suddenly stopped working on one of the coldest days of the year! Called CHF on a Friday night at 5:30pm and spoke to Charlie. They were at our house the next morning at 9:00am (a Saturday) to fix the unit. Steve was very professional and explained the issue to us and what was needed to fix it. We had our heat back on that afternoon.
